Well maintained 5stars hotel. Nicely located great beach, eventhough we have not even step on to the beach and feel the fine sand. Awesome varieties of food serve in the buffet...

Nightmare hotel and stay! The property is very old, hasn't been refurbished or fixed up ever, and is very poorly maintained. I would barely give it a 3*. Save yourself the trouble and stay anywhere but here.

A very good beach facing property , great sun down view, nice food.....

Superlative. A look, but I recommend the seventh floor for those looking for a beautiful view. Restaurants are very close. And its price is reasonable

This hotel is great. Superb ambience. Excellent food in the hotel and nearby down the road. The rooms, with a balcony and a sea view are really comfortable and you can hear the sea at night. The bar area is massive yet comfortable and the decor truly restful. The pool, surrounded by palm trees, is really relaxing. The beach, though small and steep, is sandy and we enjoyed bobbing around in the sea - until we saw the beware jellyfish sign. Plenty of opportuntiy for water sports, including jet skiing and paragliding.
We are already planning our next trip!

Far from 5 Star rating. Nothing for recreation-seeking vacationers. Live disco music, above the acceptable noise level, well past midnight. Breakfast and food selection not always according to the price.

No lounges on the beaches and limited food choices with pretty crowded restaurant on the weekend.

Well, you might be thinking, why I gave it 5 stars? Well, first of all. The rooms there were amazing! Pretty much exceeded all my expectations. The rooms gave you a home-feely feeling. The service there is great. There's even a water slide! Great for the kids. Keep up the good work.

Love the stay and the breakfast. I love the seafood buffet too. I like the (complementary) cookies given.

This is our 4th resort checked in during the span of 2 months. Initially, had booked at the other resort next to it. And after reading the recent reviews decided to cancel and try for Parkroyal Penang. It does not have the best review but it has the type of room we need. Turns out to a much better choice for us. And this is definitely one of the best in terms of the amazing service renders by the staff resort wide, ranging from bellman, housekeeping, front desk, service crew. The hotel is nicely kept and maintained. Housekeeping was prompt and clean the room well. Requests made was all promptly attended too with no question ask but friendly smile. In short, everything is just perfect and we will definitely be back again. Thanks to all at Parkroyal, Penang. Please keep up the good work.

Wonderful facilities and restaurant at reasonable prices, great location

Seriously bad hotel for 5 star level. Bad Front office, I booked from for 4 people, amenities in the room was just for 2.. when we ask for the extra items they took hours to come and worst part they forget items just to be back after more than an hour. Glasses in the room was dirty.

Service was 5 stars with strong WiFi throughout the resort including outdoor areas.

Be sure to be up early for breakfast as it gets very busy after 9am.

Room was very clean and spacious. The view from our room was lovely, we enjoyed the sunset. Pool area was well maintained, during the 4-hour spent there, twice we had to clear out so that the area can be sanitized. It was a hassle, but much needed. Our sons enjoyed swimming and playing at the water park area. Breakfast was delicious, though we had to line up for different foods. All in all, a good stay, would definitely consider staying here again.

3- Breakfast is nice, rooms are clean and cool and nice air conditioner
4- Close to the night street and Lebanon Restaurant
5- There is a singer in the hotel every day except Tuesday
6- The beach is clean and the facilities are beautiful

Very nice, the beach activities , night market restaurant and around services such as laundry. Hotel clean little but price high comparing to the same level of hotel in KL.

Just bought a day pass to the pool and beach area. You get a towel and partial refund voucher to buy food and drinks. There are many pools and comfy areas to spend the afternoon and chill out..

nice bed, good shower. Outdoor is nice to sit and relax by the beach.
Breakfast was worst, very few varities and cold food served. Cleaniness i would rate 4.0

Terrible experience, will not book the hotel next time

It is the resort.
There is also a private beach, and the climate is very refreshing. You can enjoy the southern country feeling with smooth and comfortable hilarity.

Long que bfast really spoiled the mood .u can actually do buffet as usual instead of queuing. But make it compulsory to wear gloves.

Large resort, nice staff, 2 clean pools, good gym,comfy beds, expensive drinks.

From arriving to check out, everything was great. Short stay feel relaxing and enjoying. Lobby lounge is space with big sofa, resting at afternoon or night with was prefect. 2 swimming pool and the surrounding area very charming and great ambient. The water park make kids more enjoyable. Overall this resort is good to visit.

My family & I were there in June 2008 for a week. We enjoyed being there so much and looking forward to visiting it again.

We love Park Royal Penang and the renovation of Cinnamon Cafe it's Ambience is very light and easy access. The garden scenery is beautiful. We always wil visit Park Royal Penang every year end. Our favorite afternoon tea affair.
Thank you to the F n B Director whose humble down to earth personality make even better. Encik Azmi.and we will be back for our afternoon tea soon.

The room is comfortable and hygienic, the breakfast is rich, the fresh vegetable juice is more, the bed is very comfortable, the service is very good, but the water slide pool is old and the lifeguards are not long-term.

The hotel was amazing exept that lady(Melin)who setting near the beach to control the timing of water activities , she was so rude and reduce the time of jet-ski with 5 minuets
When I asked her politely that still missing 5 minutes , she replaied to shut up my mouth !!
I contact with the manager but no respond !!
So , plz be aware of water activities even it under the name of PARKROYAL!!

Claen, kind staffs, good security, wonderful view and good location for vacation

Awesome. The service is over the top since you check-in until check-out.
Nice, clean and cozy place. Sumptuous breakfast.
There's also water park for children, good gymnastics and also nice chairs on the beach side if you just want to relax yourself while reading the book.
Recommended to stay in this hotel.

She was the person welcoming us to restaurant with good gesture very friendly, very efficient and helpful. Every request was attended to very quickly. Been staying here for a while. Family loved it. Perhaps the MCO made them forget their standards of hospitality. Park Royal is not selling rooms but client experience and it starts with the car park. Their business is too good that the attendant is abrupt, ice and water machine is not working due to SOP, called and requested but didn t arrive after an hour. It s no longer the same experience like before. U use the facility and they will stop you abruptly due to SOP (not sure if it is made up). Stood at the concierge to validate my parking token for 10 minutes without being attended to

Good beach resort , beside having good restaurant and also pub . Room is clean .

Beautiful place to be! Just the right combination of nature, modern amenities, and hospitality of staff. Plenty of places to lounge and enjoy your time, daily planned activities, good selection of food.

Good place to stay friendly staff and new renovated rooms . Well positioned.

The swimming pools are awesome! One of the pools is open until 11pm. Kids can have fun even at nights!
