We did not know this place was open for public, it wasn t mentioned during booking. When I was there I was horrified to see many people walk around without mask and no social distancing practiced at all, and staff can t be bothered. Buffet breakfast no social distancing no face mask. The pool was full of people, play club was impossible to book, had I know that this hotel opens their facilities to public, I won t book. Room was tip top condition, that s our silver lining.

Enjoyed our stay here.
Pool is super fun for kids.
Next to the beach.
Superb breakfast.

The only thing I don't like is Batu Ferringhi is too far from Georgetown.

Cozy and modern hotel with a terrific staff that excelles in service and hospitality, special thanks to the security manager Mr. Veerasamy who has helped us with an issue concerning a taxi driver with all kindness and understanding.
In short, our stay here has been nothing less than phenomenal.

One of the best hotels so far in Penang. Customer service is good, most employees are helpful and friendly. Kudos to one of the heavily pregnant host at the restaurant where we had our breakfast. She is just lovely, helpful and polite. Simply a 5 star for her.
Overall our stay was a pleasant experience. Oh ya, those infused drinks that you put around your garden, swimming pool are great plus too. Keep it up!!!

Traveled with my wife, and I chose this hotel reading the reviews, and it did not disappoint. On a first impressions upon arrival, it was nice to be greeted and our luggage was take taken by the concierge, check in was really smooth, helpful staff and we were offered a nice welcome drink with wet towels, which was really nice in that heat.
The lobby area was quite impressive, large open plan area with views of of the beach and pool. Room was big enough, we had partial sea view deluxe on the 3rd floor, however it did not have balcony, which it seemed to have one floor down on the same room.
Bed was nice, firm and big, bathroom was clean with walking shower closet, however no tub. Water pressure was good, housekeeping was fantastic with our our extra requests met even in the late night!
There were two pool, one with a slide for kids and one for adults but be aware of the lizard monitors which sometimes tend to swim along on the side!
There were lots and lots of Arab tourists, which could be a bit overbearing, if you know what i mean, especially in the breakfast area. Breakfast choices were great, lots of local varieties with standard items, however the choices were pretty much same each day.
Gift shops on the lobby were not overly priced, some items on sale were even better priced than the adjacent night market.
There were lots of places to eat around within few mins walking distance. Shuttle bus to George town needs booking one day prior, however grab was pretty reasonable. Massage choices around the hotel was a bit limited, did not try the in house one!
The staff were in general great and very helpful, lots turn out to be Bangladeshi!

Perfunctory service and poor standard of cleaning but the room views are nice. They get one star for their post stay marketing - after five attempts to unsubscribe the group continue to bombard me with unsolicited email. Warning - do not give them your email address.

Good things will have an asterisk in the beginning of the sentence, bad things are going to be in *-BOLD-* handwriting
*Very luxurious and elegant, offers a bathtub full of perfumed water, and an elegant shower room with toiletries free to take home, comes woth a 40"inch flat screen TV and 5 drawers with a private mus'haf ( ) or any other holy books*
*-THE ROOM SERVICE SKIP SOME ROOMS BEFORE PEOPLE COME BACK FROM BREAKFAST, TOUR GUIDE COUNTER IS NOT AVAILABLE-*

A very good place to spend your holidays with your family and friends. Very clean & all staffs are very friendly too. Mostly I like the big swing under the big tree with the sea view.

Beautiful location, great service, great rooms. Only issue was, being vegans, food choices extremely limited in the normal course, and the chefs seemed very confused about what vegan food is, which is disappointing; it's rated as a 5 star hotel after all. For a birthday cake, they couldn't make anything beyond a carrot cake!

Very nice hotel in a nice location. Huge beds and probably the most decent infant cots we've come across through our travels - solid wooden cots rather than the usual travel/camp cots. Good food at the breakfast buffet. Very easy to take public transport, even when travelling with an infant and stroller. Loads of nearby restaurants and a short walk to the night market.

Great hotel and staff located right by the beach. Get a sea facing room if budget allows. Fantastic pools and very good quality breakfast. We visited during renovations unfortunately so the Javana lounge was closed. No bars open late, not sure if this usual.

Love the environment, the hotel is great but the bangladeshi stall owners was selling things way more expensive than a mall seller.
Worth repeating the experience.

Peace be upon you. I spent 3 nights in it. The room service is bad, the rooms are clean and the corridors are less than the standard. The furniture is old and worn out. Not providing the minimum being a 5-star hotel. The bathroom is old and miserable. Not providing bathroom shoes, robes, towels, and toothbrushes.
Reception staff is nice but only with Europeans and Americans or with others !!!!!
I will not come back to him again
Note
Room service is unimaginably annoying. The door is knocked for an hour while you are sleeping so you say don't clean the room

Room 316 was bright, of a decent size with good water pressure (view not great). Plentiful plug points with steam iron and ironing board. Odd lighting system though where a master light switch meant it switched off half the overhead lights plus bathroom lights. Room had bed night lights and bathroom night light. Breakfast buffet was halal, and generously varied.

We went here during our honeymoon & it was quite nice despite half the hotel being closed off for renovation.
The staff are friendly & efficient & the resort is spacious with lots of activities to be done - family & couple oriented alike.

The resort is walking distance from a variety of restaurants & cafes including a StarBucks if that's your cup of coffee.

Highly recommended though a bit pricy.

Best thing is the choice of music at the beach bar. Excellent playlists. First time I've been to a resort like this where you don't hear Ed Sheeran, Bob Marley and all the other usual suspects. Hats off to whoever curates their music. Makes a huge difference when sipping a few cold beers during sundown.

Had the buffet dinner here on a Tuesday and it was a Malaysian buffet. The food was excellent even have petai amongst the ulam with sambal. Very reasonably priced comparatively. Staff were very attentive. Mind you could have done with a sago gula melaka for dessert. Oh well can't have it all.
