Palms Casino Resort Review

For the standard placed on hotels throughout the strip, this particular Hotel/Casino falls below that bar.

Sure, most of their rooms are renovated. Sure, you're off the strip a bit as to avoid the busy and noisy streets. Sure, the rooms are cheap at certain times of the week.

BUT, their customer service is the main reason why this hotel sits at below 4 stars. The staff is not taught to have a friendly tone with anyone. It seems as though they categorize anyone walking through the doors as "trouble-makers" or "family-business goers".

Walking through the doors, going up to reception, I did NOT feel welcomed at all. Going to the pool was worse, as I was ostracized for not being a "hotel guest".

LASTLY, for two nights, they charge over a $500 deposit in case I were to "destroy" a lamp or chair in the room. They took my ID and literally said: "Oh, a local, that makes things worse". The funny part was that I am NOT a local.
Because of the fact that this hotel lies 10 minutes AWAY from the strip, they still feel the need to include a $30 EXTRA charge a night, which I was NOT told of. Instead of feeling like I made a good deal with this hotel, I ended up paying FAR more than what I expected, and was forced to mess with my funds as to retrieve a $500+ deposit for a $40 a night room.

This hotel is a mess.

Extremely clean rooms and consistent customer service however the rooms lack coffee pots and fridges for personal use (very inconvenient.)

Had a wonderful stay during the Billy Idol concert 1/25/19 - 1/27/19 with the family I enjoyed the casino floor and friendly helpful staff

I thought it would be better since the change but its the same ,eating at the buffet was om but the music gotta go!
Its terrible especially when ur with an elderly crowd.too loud and too much hard rock..put some frank Sinatra Dean Martin some nice jazz latin other wise its very nice at palms smells great when u walk in

Fun place slots kinda pay out goodish and it clean and staff are very nice and take care of you great nice place to visit for sure.

I meet my friends here for movies sometimes. The theaters are nice (leather with electronic controls) and matinee pricing is good. Occasionally the clientele can be shady.

The standard room is a nice size n very contemporary. Bathroom well lit n nice size shower.

Been there after the remodeling, and it's looking great. Hip, fancy, with new cool restaurants. I'm certainly going back, to try the new places they have. Free parking, too!

It's a casino with a mall wrap around it. I liked the rooms and the pool was pretty cool.

Recently added to the station groups when it comes to rewards. A little quiet compared to strip casinos but they treat their customers right.

Attended company conference. Food and facilities were excellent. Hallways and one conference room had a sewer gas smell though.

The staff is amazing. Check in was short. Rooms are beautiful.

Its okay its very crowded .we go there to watch movies .we love it.

Being a native of Las Vegas, I didn't realize that I had never been in this casino before, until I walked in. It was quite attractive and I got a feel of something futuristic especially when I got to the movie theater which was the hole reason I was there. It was really nice and the actual theater was what Id describe as a luxury theater. The seats reclined back to a laying position and they had little tables to put your concessions on. Now I'm not exactly sure if all the seats reclined, but my son who wanted to sit in the front, which I might add was against my better judgment, picked the seats right up front and these were definitely reclining and quite comfortable as I might add. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The staff there are always polite and professional. The bed is very comfortable. The whole room and bathroom was very clean. We had an amazing view They are mindful of those with disabilities and they accommodate. I definitely recommend staying here!!

Would never choose this option again. It's a complete waste of money. We were informed that check out time can be extended with no cost and received a call after couple of hours to clear the stuff in 10 min to avoid extra charges so finally had to pay for another day.

Had an issue arise with getting my son a passport quickly. The concierge at Palms Place Resort could not have been more helpful. Thank you so much. Great rooms, great price and Awesome service.

The casino was really nice. The concert hall was ok. With a full house, it made ut hard to breathe at times so if they had a better way to ventilate the room, it would be great

They have done some nice remodeling but you can tell by the slots that they have really reduced thier payout. Me and friends as locals have gone here for years to have some fun near the strip. And ultimately the house always wins but at least make it enjoyable for locals

The room was clean, updated, and equipped with a beautiful view.

This only applies to the Brenden Theater within The Palms. The theater was really nice and spacious, and they have the added option of printing off online tickets or just scanning an app. Concessions lines can be a bit of a wait. I love the reclining seats, just be forewarned that in some of the theaters not all of the seats recline. The only complaint I have is that it's not cleaned very well between showings (trash just swept under the seats, food and trash stuck within the chairs, etc), but that seems standard for most theaters. Surround sound and picture were really awesome! The bass will definitely get your heart pounding!

Great late night dining options. Especially coffee bean whih is open late.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I can not express enough how horrible the service was and the was we were lied to about the fees. My friend and I went out to Vegas and we ended up flying home the next day. We were told is was supposed to be one price and they added on over $300 more claiming there were fees?? I have stayed at MGM grand many times and never had this issues. Beware of this hotel. The management did not care that we were basically without a place to stay that night and basically blew us off. The room wasn't nice at all...It looked like a lower end super 8 it had a bad smell and a walk in shower which did not even have a door. I will never ever stay here again.

Attended the lastest class of cadies to graduate from the LvMPD. Then had lunch at Mable's BBQ great food and discovered my new favorite drink a French Toast Manhattan. Yummy yummy.

Lovely place, excellent customer service, and great attentiveness

Under construction during my stay, employees seemed stressed. Concierge not very helpful, though that might not have been a service for ivory tower guests. Room was very nice, but construction was happening outside at 3 am.

The food was excellent, the club was amazing. Staff was very nice.

It would have been a 5 star rating but there is no KID'S QUEST.

Slots rarely pay off. Under construction is awful waiting for that to finish. But the food is great.

Huge Makeover, Astonishing Casino! Visit The Palms, Book! The New Apex Club is Amazing, with sculptures "Psychogeographies". The Palms center bar with the shark, wow, got to check out.

For a hotels off strip it's pretty nice but the sports book area is small and there is no where else to watch a game if it gets crowded. But the bathrooms are REALLY nice looking

We went to IMAX theater yesterday.We were a little late to maleficent mistress of evil, when we got to the chairs, we were pleasantly surprised to find nice leather chairs with foot rest. So comfy.

Love the renovations. The best croissants are at Lucky Penny, which is open 24 hours.

Best new Buffet in Las Vegas. Prices are a little higher, but not as high as those on the strip and well worth it. Not the same boring buffet foods. Terrific variety.

All public areas are nicely renovated.
Though it seems they ran out of money when it comes to the rooms in the ivory tower. Many bumps and scuffs around furniture, missing curtain rod, cracks around sink area, different door knobs on the same door (thought it was intentional at first, but it wasn t). Usually I m not fussed when it comes to hotels as long as they re clean, but this occasion was my 5th wedding anniversary and I was wanting it to be impressive to boost the experience of our weekend, instead it felt like a scuffed but clean 3-star Holiday-In room.

Sound system at the Kaos club was not sound-proofed at all, our room s walls were shacking with bass up until 4.30am when the club closed.

Left feeling let down for the price we payed. A nice place to visit during the day, but will never stay again.

Rounding up from 3.5. Staff was friendly. The rooms were modern and spacious. Comfortable beds and a decent sized television. The one thing I always take a star away for is for not having handheld shower heads. Not only are the shower heads fixed I didn't see a way to change the spray to a different setting.

Didn't get a chance to gamble but the Casino floor seems to have most of the major games to play. Food court had some decent options and they seem to be building a new buffet.

Overall it was a good experience. If you want a modern hotel at a decent price not to far off the strip this is a good choice.

On the rooftop club it has amazing views. Shame I hear it is closing

After being remodeld by Station Casinos it is now a great place to gamble. The new Buffet is worth its money.

Property is clean, nice and well run. It has lost some of it's 20-30's hip crowd luster with their clubs getting dated. Casino is upscale and nice; expect 15+ min hand for blackjack on a busy night. Rooms are average for the upscale resorts

The room was extreamly a great room. The view was fabulous and the guest customer service was good as well

Great spot just of the strip, beautiful hotel, great staff very pleasant place if ur looking just to have a great time without spending ur life savings. And affordable food this is A+ in my book. I'll will be going back for sure.

The new remodeling is not an improvement. Goodbye personality and hello corporate bland decor. The new restaurants are good, not that the old ones were ever an issue either.Pearl is still one of the better concert venue.

Saw a movie here, very nice theater. Loved the casino afterwards. Very clean and nice. Would recommend for someone looking for gambling off the strip

Didn't start there, but liked the restaurants and the ambience.

Its nice, mainly go there for the theater and McDonalds. Movie theater recliners could be better.
