Palm Beach Skate Zone Review

So I got my shoes stolen and I have done everything that I could do but the people there do not help they say they will call you back but they never do so you should never go here

This place Palm Beach skate zone deserves Absolutely a zero star the way they treat their employees is so disgusting and disrespectful. I cannot believe the director or owner of this facility allows that type of behavior. They should definitely reconsider on hiring new managers or retrain them to learn how to value their employees!!

Attended a Fundraiser event with family and friends. We had an amazing time! We recommend coming to Skatezone, its for all ages! Attentive staff and great music.

I am a figure skater and used to skate at Palm Beach Skate Zone. The figure skating staff. Some people and coaches are friendly and love what they do. Others are not as nice. One of the coaches there has yelled at me before and she was not my coach! Some of the kids there are awesome and so nice. The kids that are nice are about 6-13 years old. Some of the teenagers though are mean and make fun of other skaters. Though the rink does put on wonderful shows. Right now they are currently doing a Theatre on Ice program. The rink in general is ok. For skaters looking to find their passion for skating, it is great.

It's a good place I'd go again but there was this staff worker, a blonde kinda short lady she was just rude, so there was this filled up soda bottle on the counter and she asks me if it was mine and asks my best friend and hers and they say no and she says okay im just gonna throw it away, when it was for this guy, he came back looked a little bit confused and took his shoes and left, and then shortly after that, I drank all my soda so I try to shoot it in the garbagecan, she's cleaning up and the first time I missed and she sees that I missed, the second time I miss and she goes you were close (with attitude) then im walking to the bottle and she walks to it faster, picks it up and throws it away, like hefa so annoying, the place is nice but fire her she probabaly the reason y'all got all these 1 stars, the place itself deserves like 4 stars but her if she aint fired it's gonna stay at a 1 star rating cuz she was just horrible, would also like to add their food and drinks are overpriced too, luckily there's a dunkin donuts next to it so y'all can eat there anyways FIRE THAT HEFA!!!

My experience at the skate zone has been great! The facility is a great training facility because they offer everything from on ice classes to off ice workouts and not to mention the amazing coaching staff as well. It is a very fun and enjoyable environment for all ages!

They don't clean the ice oftenly. There were holes on the ice floor. I had an accident the ice was melting. During public skating hours the were also skating clases and the students were jumping and making more holes on the floorZ pretty dangerous.

My son and I go every week! I love the place the staff greets us by name! (Maybe spending to much time here). I recommend this skate rink to all. I love the fact I can skate take a break and have a brew and go at it again. Maybe they should offer coupons once a while. Just a thought see you guys tonight and Sunday day time!

I had to write this we went back today (like every other week) my wife and I brought out our daughter (who has Down Syndrome) and they let her skate on the ice 15 min before the public skate session So she wouldn't be scared! AMAZING PLACE! That was so nice and she tried it out ( not her thing) but she ended up watching her brother skate the whole time. Thank you all for understanding a little girls situation and Accommodating her. Wish I could rate more!

We had a very good time here and I am thinking on coming back.

I ice skate here all the time. I have my own skates but I have a very hard time getting my friends to join me. Everytime they come they always have problems with the rental ice skates and I don't blame them. They are super dull which actually makes it a little more dangerous because the blade won't grip the ice properly. This makes me sad because I really enjoying skating but because of the very dull skates they refuse to come.

We love it!! My family and I live in Key West and any chance we get we love coming up to Palm Beach Skate Zone for the kids to get some practice on ice. The kids have such a good time at the Tuesday night hockey clinic. Today was their first practice with Coach John and Coach Josh. They BOTH are AWESOME! Great coaches who love what they do...and it shows. The attention they give the kids is top notch. LOVE LOVE LOVE it here!

I was having issues registering for a public ice skating slot online. I called and a boy named Travis picked up. He went out of his way to help me and was with me from beginning to end until I got my spot registered. I am beyond grateful at how professional and kind the employees at Skate Zone are. Makes the experience 10x better!

Me and my daughter went on a Sunday Afternoon and it was not very busy and everyone was wearing a mask. I felt safe being their and that's important nowadays.

Worst management ever. I bought tickets for the fall festival Halloween online for my kids 2 weeks ago, today I called to see if i could buy 1 more ticket for my son s friend and the palm beach skate zone manager said that the event was private and that neither I could have bought the tickets. When I went on the website to buy the tickets, there was nothing saying about the event being private and anyone who entered the website looking to do something with their child could find this event and buy the tickets. The manager very arrogantly said that I should feel bad that I want to participate in an event that I am not even part of and she will make sure anybody that bought the tickets and is not signed up for class there she will not allowed to get in. I was plan to sign up my daughters to do Ice skating class next month, but after I spoke with the horrible manager, I decided that I am not going to sign up My daughter for classes or ether participate in any event in this place.
THEY DID NOT MENTIONED ANYTHING ONLINE SAYING IS A PRIVATE EVENT . WORST PLACE EVER FOR COMMUNICATION......

I don t need any free tickets for any event in this place, because I m not planning come back after I spoke with the horrible person that call herself manager. I hope the new administration change the management to make the client feel more comfortable to come back and take the kids back to this place again...

I love this place! Skating here is so fun and they have so many fun events all the time. Their food is a bit overpriced though. The staff is very nice and it is the perfect place to meet your friends!!!

We had a private rink rental for our birthday celebration last night and could not be happier with how everything went. From beginning to end the process was smooth and easy. We had an unfortunate emergency situation on the ice and the staff was incredibly efficient and right away took care of the situation and had everything under control. Tim Shepley, who is the events manager, did everything possible to make sure that our party was a success. Our hostess was wonderful and made sure everything was set up nicely and was always asking if there was anything else we needed and if we were satisfied. The ice attendants were also helping some of the less experienced skaters with some helpful tips. I would highly recommend having an event at Palm Beach Skate Zone!

This place is great! Bring along a few friends and get ready to have fun. The staff members are also always friendly, and aware of everyone's needs.

Best rink in South FL! From the huge facility to the staff, Palm Beach Skate Zone is the place to be. We have been to others but they just didn't meet our expectations the way PBSZ does. My 9 and 10 year old have been coming here Tuesday evenings for a few months now. We liked the coaches so much we got private lessons. Josh and John are top notch. They are very good at what they do and make it fun for the kids.

We drive over 4 hours from Key West to come here, passing other closer rinks. That should tell you how much we like this place.

I had the greatest time there with the Grandkids they really enjoyed it. They loved the whole experience especially participating in the floor activities. It reminded me of my past when I was a kid Thank you Palm Beach skate zone for even more memories and the best day ever.

The staff plays more than my son does.
He could learn more in a pick up game in the street's.

He made it possible when the computer said no!!!

Employees are nasty! One girl, long dark hair, didn't catch the name as she was spurting out details of the website as an explanation for the misleading information about open skating. Don't waste your time!

of course it could use some improvement HOWEVER, this is the cleanest, nicest, and safest skate rink in palm beach. if you are a first time ice skater, surly some of the good Samaritans that come here will assist you. the food may not be up to par on certain days, but that should not drop the rating considering this isn't a restaurant. if you have a problem the staff WILL assist you. all these 1 stars are people who may have dealt with one bad person or they are just those type of people that expect to find gold in a dumpster. this place is a great place and i've been a customer for over 4 years now.

Had a lot of fun here before my out of shape body started cramping up. Very nice and helpful staff, was practically empty when I went on a Wednesday at 1030am hah.

Our first time ice skating and we had a very good experience. Went with three kids, ages 3, 7 and 11. I was happily surprised at how quickly my 7 and 11 year olds got the hang of it. And, the walker looking ice helper was great for the three year old. Everyone had a lot of fun and wants to come back. We went with friends who frequent this place and apparently there was an even bigger rink that was closed that day due to skaters practicing for the holiday show. Music was good, employees friendly, and place was clean. A few tips...for beginners, helmet, wrist and/or knee guards are helpful. Gloves and layers are good too. It is cold in there. Get there early to make sure you can get the skates and helper. They do run out when it's busy. Lockers are $1. Kids 5 and younger are free.

We had a fun birthday party here for my granddaughter. The rink and ice are nicely kept. Seems fairly new compared to other rinks here! I recommend!

Had my daughters birthday party here. The kids had a blast! Only note is that when booking they mentioned they covered decorations and goodie bags. They decorate the table with color of choice and have 3 balloons on one table, the goodie bags include some incentives, but no toys or anything. So I would bring additional decorations and toys to stuff the bags. Other than that Natalie went above and beyond to host our event. Kudos to her she was sweet and accommodating the entire time! I would definitely do this again.

It is a good place, the children love it, but there should be more mandatory security, for example wearing a helmet or other things like that, but hey it is a beautiful place,

I visited Skate Zone while I was on vacation. My friends and I had so much fun at the "Saturday Night Lights" during the public skate! The music was enjoyable and up to date and the rental was super affordable. We felt like kids again and would definitely recommend it for a night out!

Best rink around! Family oriented and the management staff is outstanding. Highly recommended for parties or for some cool fun in the summer heat.

World class triple rinks. Lessons and hockey are top notch but but birthday parties are overpriced and they don't allow home cooked food to be brought in. Food selection is poor for ethnic people who can't eat their limited overpriced choices.
Additionally they charge separate for session time and private lesson which is very confusing system. They should include the rink charge in the private lesson to avoid confusion.
Also food person is lazy and refused to cook breakfast Saturday morning

So much fun during the week when NOONE is there... still fun with a lot of peeps there but MUCH better with open ice.

Wonderful spot to have a birthday party. Hurricane Dorian made us reschedule our original party date and the staff was so easy to communicate with. We rescheduled with ease. The staff (Joe - Manager; Erin - Party Host; and Lauren/James - Ice Instructors) were amazing. From start to finish our party was a huge success. Highly recommend

We were there for a weekend hockey tournament. It was managed well, and covid restrictions in place, no issues.

This place rocks Friday night lights and music my kids love this place. Great staff. They have help for beginners. Very well kept inside and out. Ice is on point.

The facility itself was very nice and clean. We were there for my step-daughter's birthday party and our party host Sarah was amazing. She tends to my every need and definitely took off some of my stress for making sure our guest was accommodated properly. I will definitely recommend Sarah as a party host.

The only thing I found really odd was the timing of the food when it came out. I asked the guy ( i forgot his name), the one that handles all the birthday party reservations, if we can have our pizza come out a lil bit early since our guest are starting to get hungry. Our party started at 12:30 and that is lunch time. You would expect that people will be hungry around that time. But they refused our request in getting our food early and he was adamant about getting it served by 2pm. So i said no problem. I don't like to give people a hard time so I went ahead and just decided to wait and to tell our guest that our food will come out by 2pm. I always thought that customers service will always be a priority but not on this case. So just a bit of advise, if you guys have a birthday party that will start at 12-12:30 pm, please expect to wait for your food until 2pm.

Played yet another tourney here and once again the employees absolutely rock! It s clean, they sanitize constantly and the Zamboni driver was a Tokyo Drift king! Ice was in good shape for all the use!

The ice is well done, the only problem is the skates. They're dull. At first, I thought it was bad luck, but I went through four pairs of skates and they were all dull. The staff was very helpful however, and polite. The skates are really the only things keeping me away from this place.

I totally haven't been there in 2 years, but I'm trying to go tomorrow. I love Palm Beach Skate Zone.

This place was amazing. The people working there, they are what really stand out. Everyone is soooo incredibly helpful and want you to have the best experience even if that means changing out your skates several times to get the right and most comfortable fit, tying your skates the correct way, helping you and others on the ice make sure all have a good time. It was amazing. I took my boys out today for the first time and they had an absolute blast. I will most certainly be back. Thank you for all your help guys!

I tried skating for the first time here and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The ice rink seemed to be well maintained and skates were readily available. The price was affordable and very worth it. I'd definitely try it again

Great place to Ice Skate or Roller Skate! You can rent skates, or bring your own. Occasional Hockey Games, Figure Skating Lessons and Ice Skating Lessons.

Open Stick and Puck to all ages or at least include a session for adults during the week. Everyone needs practice not just 17 and under.

Walked in with my sister and her friends that were ice skating, I was not. They tried getting me to pay 10 dollars to be in the building and told me I had to wait outside. On their website it says "you do not have to pay if you are a parent or chauffeur." They were rude about it and in the end I ended sat wherever I wanted. The music was old and some kids bop stuff. Overall would not recommend and should have gone somewhere else.

I have been going to skate zone for almost 20 years. So many fun times and good memories made here. Thanks for being a fun place to escape!

This place is great! Three rinks, plenty of help, and great family environment

I used to figure skate here all the time during the summer but since I moved I haven't and I miss it. I made a lot of new friends and I enjoyed my time there.

Ice heaven! Great for ice hockey, figure skating, sled hockey, curling,or public skating on its 3 rinks.

Skate zone is awesome!!! The coaches are great especially coach John. I love playing hockey here.

Skates are extremely dull, managers brush off important issues.

I had a small birthday party for my son at Palm Beach Skate Zone. It was a great facility and all the kids had a fantastic time. All the staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Marina went out of her way to accommodate us and make sure everyone was taken care of. The manager was also very nice and friendly. It's a nice break from the summer to be inside and go ice skating. This is a well maintained, good sized ice rink with a great staff of friendly people working there. I will be back with my kids to enjoy the cool skating.

It is fun to go with children, the track is big and beautiful. The skates are quite comfortable. I recommend calling and finding out the days and times with fewer people at the time you want to go so you can take better advantage and are more comfortable.

Nice rinks friendly staff good cafe pretty clean. They can use help in cafe as there is a long wait because food is good. Wish they had chicken noodle every Saturday.

I love this place except when the GM is there. So unpleasant. Awful customer service skills. The rest of the staff and coaches are awesome. And the facilities are wonderful. But they need better leadership to get to the next level.
