The green produce has gone down hill to the point I won't buy any of it. I used to go here because the green produce was so fresh. It's extremely wilted, and even has dried out yellow or brown leaves now. Everything else in the store is great!!!

The vegetables are fresh, meat and fish too. There are ready made food and a stand to make Japanese snack. There are food stalls too as well as a backery with large selection of North Asian style buns and dessert. There are clothing store. Accessory and drug stores too. The market is not sufficiently heated.
I always find something unusual or unique in this store. The prices are reasonable too. If you find something you really like, buy it now because it may be gone when you return. Friendly staff.
It s our first time going to Pal-Do but definitely not the last! I can t help but to compare it with H-mart. With regards to variety of choices in the produce and groceries, I think both Pal-Do and H mart has about the same level of variety, maybe a little bit of an edge on H-mart BUT the upside on Pal-Do is the prices on the produce which is the cheapest we have seen so far. This place is definitely great for wholesalers and or restaurants since they sell the biggest canisters of soy bean paste I ve seen so far among others. They have bigger aisles so it is easier to go around compared to H-mart.
They also sell a lot of Filipino goodies/products which we haven t seen in other stores, so it was definitely worth our 30min drive from where we live.
If you like seafood, this is also a great place to go, although the live seafood is limited to tilapia and crab (forgot the species there today). Having your fish cleaned/cut is a breeze.
The Korean pancake corner by the seafood section is a treat! They have a proper bakery by the entrance of the market which sells a variety of Korean pastries and cakes that looks delicious but didn t try some today. A plus for us where the food stalls inside the mart, which offered Japanese, Chinese and of course Korean food. We dined at the Nak Won Korean stall and the food was delicious, price is reasonable and the servings were generous but what made it extra enjoyable to dine there was the Korean food attendant at Nak Won. She was very attentive and extra pleasant!
So much selection and so much to see! They also have a bakery right at the front with awesome cakes and pastries. We got some drinks and snacks, but also want to go back to get some ramen because they had a whole isle just for that!
I like this store. It's definitely an Asian market, so it won't be all folks like me taste (middle aged white dude). But for food you can't find anywhere else, stop in. Everything from fresh seafood, to snacks not found at Wholefoods, this place is great. I don't read any Asian languages, but the folks that work there are really helpful. They have a wide variety of alcohol as well, from traditional Sake to Japanese and Chinese beer, if you're a foodie or looking for something different in the way of wine to serve your guests next time we can get together, this is the place to shop.
Fantastic place if you're looking for imports from the asiatic regions. If you can name it from that region you're liable to find it. Fresh seafood so fresh you can grab it yourself.
