PALACE STATION HOTEL & CASINO Review

Palace station was awesome. I have been in the area before but had never gone in. I have been missing out. Away from the busy strip this hotel casino has great slots and is very clean. Our temperature was taken upon entering. And social distanceing was observed by the patrons. The casino floor had a laid back and friendly atmosphere. Overall a very good experience. I doesn't hurt that I won a few bucks! I never win! This time I did bye deciding to visit palace station. Thanks for your hospitality.

Station casinos are almost always a good time. Cocktail waitress was friendly & readily available. Great selection of machines. I had a really nice time. Looking forward to going back. Hopefully sometime their Buffets are going to be back. As that was always one of the best things about the all the Stations. I have faith you guys will figure something out for someone who REALLY misses y'alls Buffets.

Recently remodeled,off the strip,located on the ramp to I15,still bringing tourist a Vegas experience,one of Vegas's first station casino's.

The buffet was ok... Kinda hard to mess up breakfast!

The restaurants are amazing and it has great payouts. If you came to gamble do it here you have a better probability of winning.

This place was NEVER the spot to visit. The cafe is okay for a late night meal but the buffet is terrible now. After the renovation it was excellent but after that wave of excitement came and went it reverted back to average, or sub average. Cold food, no options and a full price for dinner just doesnt add up in my pocket book. The hotel rooms are nice and ordinary, great for a close strip experience.

I was a little worried reading other reviews, but we are blown away! We ordered room service twice because the food was so good. The employees call you by name when you call the front desk or room service. The thing I really liked the most, was there is a security guard that WILL NOT let anyone up the elevator until you show a room key. I really felt secure here.

Very good value. Off strip, free parking, and reasonably loose slots.

Went to try the buffet for the first time since they remodeled and was very impressed with mostly everything.

Went to have dinner at the oyster bar in the palace station and had yhe palace pan . oast along with some oysters on the half shell. Everything was wonderfull except For the wait in line but I understand its tk keep quality high. Totally recommended.

Remodeled this is now a trendy casino.Staff is courteous very efficient. Sports book is hugh, plenty of restaurants, nice looking cocktail waitresses .

Oyster bar ... prepare to wait minimum 2 hrs ... must try .. delicious

We had a wonderful time at this Buffet. It was good food common in a great atmosphere, and is a bonus we met a older couple who are very nice and we became instant friends. What a great way to visit Vegas.

They opened the new Feast buffet downstairs, and we went when it re opened. It was good! But when we we t again last week, not so much. Normally, with the first plate you kind of grab a little if everything, and decided what you like best. Then you get additional plates of the stuff you liked. I didn't find anything I liked enough to have seconds. It was subpar. Food wasn't hot, selections weren't very good. Eve stuff I normally like, like the meat, was not to my liking. There's medium rare and then there's raw. Like still mooing and running off your plate raw. No thanks. Not a goodnight at the buffet. May not go back, which is dad because it's close to my house.

Newly remodeled rooms are nice. The pool has been redone. The casino is much more inviting. There are no quick places to get food anymore all are sit down restaurants I was disappointed with that.

I love the station casinos, the cafe here is great and I love the full services offered.

Average room and service. Not great internet but at least there is WiFi. Note it is limited to 4 devices only though. It's also terribly far from the strip and their shuttle doesn't get close enough

Go to locals Casino, it's in my "hood". Just off I-15 and off the strip so the traffic isn't so bad. I have gone here off and on since the mid 90's and have never had a bad experience.

Check-in was very friendly. Rooms were nice. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was good. Internet was quite slow. Check out was very helpful, we got a late check-out of 12:30 just by asking. Reception knows who you are and addresses you by name when you call from the room phone, very impressed. They were also very friendly. Overall we liked the hotel and will stay again. We'll just plan to use the internet elsewhere.

Palace station is the place if you just want to gamble and play slots without the overwhelming crowds and their fest buffet it great amazing food selection! Very clean and professional staff.

Overpriced for the room that I got. The pool was really nice and the blackjack dealer was very friendly. I would not recommend staying here for 130 bucks a night. Maybe 80.

Since the remodel it been fun and food is good just a heads up if u eat in the buffet 8 out of 10 I finished my food and never got my drink refilled or things I asked for but everything else it's good.

Clean Hotel. Great food at great prices. Charcoal Grill and Oyster Bar are the Best.

I used to love coming to palace station but I did not like it this time the atmosphere is not the same it was like I was in another place,and I lost a lot of money nothing was giving back anything ,I guess the machines are just sucking it all in for all the remodeling, sorry but I considered my stay horrible.

ZERO STARS. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AT THIS PLACE. FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER DOWN TO THE LOW-LIFE SECURITY. MY COUSIN IS DISABLED. THEY HARRASSED HIM THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE. THE SECURITY OFFICERS OF ETHNIC BACKGROUND WERE PRETTY NICE TO HIM THROUGHOUT THE STAY. THEY PUT HIM OUT OF THE HOTEL AND HE WAS ROAMING TGE STREETS FOR DAYS IN THIS GOD FORSAKEN TOWN. I HAD TO FILE A MISSINGS PERSONS REPORT. WHO PITS A MENTALLY DISABLED PERSON OUT ON THE STREETS THAT CLEARLY HAS A ROOM THERE. AFTER TWO DAYS I GOT A CALL FROM UMC HOSPITAL STATING THAT HE WAS THERE AND HAD PASSED OUT ON THE CONCRETE AND WAS BROUGHT IN BY AMBULANCE. NEVER DID THEY ONCE APOLOGIZE FOR ASKING HIM TO OEAVE, INSTEAD I REPORTED IT AND THEY LIED ABOUT IT. WHATS IS EVEN WORST I WAS AT THE FRONT DESK WAITING TO DO A FOLLOW UP REPORT WITH THE MANAGER UPON CHECK OUT. I SENT HIM TO HAVE VALET PULL THE CAR AROUND. WHEN I WALKED OUTSIDE I noticed a bunch of security. WENT OUTSIDE AND ASKED IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM? THEY SAID YES HE HAS TO LEAVE HE BEEN TRESPASSED FROM THE PROPERTY. I ASKED WHY? HE STATED BECAUSE HE DIDNT LIKE THE WAY HE WAS TALKING. I ASKED THE OFFICER WAS HE TALKING TO YOU? HE SAID NO. WAS HE HARMING OR TALKING TO ANYONE ELSE? NO, HE REPLIED. I INFORMED HIM THAT HE WAS A GUEST AND THAT SOME SECURITY HAD BEEN HARASSING HIM THE WHOLE WE HAD BEEN STAYING THERE. I WENT OFF ON THEM AND ASKED FOR BADGE NUMBERS. HE STATED HE WASNT A POLICE OFFICER.I TOOK A PICTURE OF ONE OF THE SG'S, HE TRESPASSED ME. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A GM. THE HEAD OF SECURITY STEPPED FORWARD AND INFORMED ME OF HIS TITLE, THEN STATED There was nothing they could do. I immediately filed a complaint with corporate. No response. Called the GM today and left a message. Nothing. Called back and while I was talking to the manager the GM got on the phone and stated I would have to take that up with security.I told him and the security be careful who you treat bad because you never know when it's going to be your family or you. You should never discriminate against someone with any kind of disability. They ALSO HAVE BED BUGS AND ALLERGENS. MY SKIN HAS BEEN BROKE OuT SINCE the day after I GOT There. Horrible. Shame on them. Never again. Lawsuit.

Since the renovation it's really nice. Boathouse restaurant has excellent Asian food. The whole branzino is particularly good and at a reasonable too! The new buffet was amazing at first but unfortunately seems to be heading downhill already. Ventilation system is good and doesn't smell over smokey.

Great hotel. I loved the environment, definitely Las Vegas. Amazing restaurants inside. Great location.

Went to check out the newly remodeled Bingo room. It's small, but looks nice. The smoking in Bingo is sectioned off with a glass room. If the rest of the casino remodel will look like this when it's done, I can't wait.

I don't like the fact that they replaced the old classic machines with new expensive machines. But they do have a huge variety of keno.

This places seems a bit dated. When I first arrived, it looked like I arrived at an old hotel hotel. As I walked into the lobby the view was a little bit better, but overall the hotel still had the vibe of being outdated. Besides the aesthetics of the building, my stay was enjoyable, the staff was helpful and friendly. The food was great for the price, which was a pleasant surprise.

Went here for the second time in probably over 15 years. It was a very nice surprise from what 8 remember. Lots of changes, atomsphere was great . Tried eating at the Oyster Bar but the line was long. Maybe next time , but found a great place called bBds. Great food. I diffently will be back to see what else there is to do.

Fun casino close to the strip but not as busy. Good blackjack tables and easy parking.

Great rooms, and service. Even ordering food to the room was comparable pricing to Denny's with nicely sized portions and fantastic food.

Well re-model thats a plus, just make sure slots machine are well maintainance specially the key board. We are satified customers. Thank you!

Wow! They charge my credit card without permission. When I came in after booking online. They asked for a credit card, I just assumed that it was for the standard "don't damage anything" hold.
Turns out they just charge you 350$ with NO warning.

I was denied shuttle service for cursing... Im 26 years old. Let me enjoy Vegas... Seriously?

I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Never felt so incredibly unwelcome in a private establishment. This is the WORST hotel i have ever experienced!

Please, Spend the extra money and stay Elsewhere

Very nice, clean, new, elegant worth checking IT out and give it another chance, incase you have not been there in a while...

I arrived last weekend with a reservation from Expedia just to find out the hotel had cancelled my reservation. The front desk staff claimed my credit card was declined. Not sure how that is possible and not hear anything for a month since I made the reservation. Hotel then offered me to reinstate my reservation but at a daily rate higher than my original rate. Furthermore, no King size beds were available like I had requested, and ended up getting a room with two beds instead.
The front desk attendant Carlos was incompetent, gave me a key that didn't work to the elevator, finally someone else helped me and I was advised the was no key needed for elevator. Finally got to room and key didn't work, one more trip to desk had me interact with Carlos who just ran into the back and let someone else help me. One and a half hour later I was finally able to enjoy room. The room was newly remodeled and pleasant, TV didn't work but was fixed in about an hour's time.
Restaurant was good but casino floor was lacking any excitement.
After all this inconvenience, hotel refused to hand out any kind of olive branch to remedy their lack of customer service.
Word of caution .... Your reservations may not be safe.

I've only been here to eat at oyster bar and it's definitely worth heading out there for it. Food is delicious but prepared to wait in line. Even during off hours at 4am theres a 30min or more wait.

Beautiful Hotel/ Casino! But prices are high! Even buffet is way to spendy!

Stayed a total of four nights from Monday to Friday morning. Got my booking though Hotel Storm which helped a lot. Some pro's of this place are the super cheap buffet. Not the best buffet but still pretty good. Fairly quiet the whole time my wife and I stayed. Bed is comfy once you get some more pillows. There is a Starbucks on the bottom floor. Never a bad thing to have close by. Now on to the Con's the is absolutely no coffee maker, mini fridge or safe in room. It looks like they had a small safe that pulled out from the dresser but now it's just some empty metal casters. Unless you smoke you shouldn't stay here. I just quit myself and even on the 9th floor, where we were staying, we got whiffs of it as soon as we got close to the elevator. Often found cigs in the elevator. And even the non smoking section is smaller than a room. And to top it off the elevator feels like you are going to drop to the bottom floor. The brakes are a tad old I think. Lastly, the transient population seems to just wander through and ask people for cigs and money. Cheap but not a horrible place. Not a great place to bring the kids.

Great movie theatre. I recommend it to everyone. What an amazing experience!!!!

The oyster bar is a long wait but totally and completely worth it. Great pan roast. Oysters were fat and delicious.

Great crew, great bars, great oysters, great book, old school. Sometimes u win , that's why they call it gambling.

The courtyard rooms are clean with no signs of beg bugs. Unfortunately, the rooms do not have a mini fridge, microwave, or safe. The shower is a little on the short side but there is great water pressure. Overall the rooms just need updated. Also, there is not an elevator so it is not convenient for someone with a disability.

NEVER, any problems with bed bugs or roaches. Always a comfortable stay.

Palace station is a very cool nice bathrooms clean and looks brand new

Is not a luxury resort, but it works. Rooms are average, nothing special. Best thing about this hotel is the Oyster Bar restaurant. It's the reason we choose to stay at this hotel over the other similarly priced hotels. No charge for parking. Lots of nice people working here.

Great time at the Palace. Haven't been to Palace Station in about 20 years, and I was so impressed with how clean it was. Shannon Eldred at the rewards club is so friendly and amazing. She is definitely an asset to this casino. Alberto at the buffet was also incredibly helpful and friendly. I love going to a place where the employees are friendly, it shows they love their jobs. I'm staying at the Cosmopolitan, but will happily spend my money here any day of the week!

A full Starbucks inside the hotel, gift shop and four other restaurants including a buffet.
Shuttle that takes hotel guest to and from the strip. So you don t have to pay for Uber/ taxi. This runs every few hours. It also runs to the airport!
Resort style pool with day beds , cabana , outdoor bar and restaurant.
Ask for a room on a higher floor they have gorgeous views of the strip.
Free parking and WiFi
Large casino.
Note to owners or management: need to offer a suite that has a mini fridge and microwave. I would be willing to pay a little extra for that. Need somewhere to store your cold drinks and heat up left overs ect. This would be a great feature to ad in the more expensive suites. Do this and I ll be back FOR SURE. Also gift shop selection of alcohol should be bigger. Wanted to purchase a bottle of tequila patron but they did not have any. Overall 5 stars.
