High end grocery store that carries just about anything you re looking for. From prepared foods and produce to home keeping goods like detergents and air fresheners. What I like is how they carry local food and local goods. They support local brands and it really elevates the quality of this store. Employees have good synergy and you can tell that they keep friendly relationships with locals. Bulk dry goods like trail mix, date bars and grains are sold here. Huge selection of wines. I mean, you re next to wine country, and the do such a good job with the variety. Store is kept bright and clean. Ample parking out front.
Don't waste your time. Unpleasant people selling overpriced mediocre offerings. The entire town has an odor of weed and decay.
Great store to pick up an assortment of supplies! Better inventory and stocking than your average supermarket. A wonderful place to pick up snacks, sandwiches and beverages before heading out for a day in Point Reyes. The sandwich station is great value, and better than Whole Foods in my opinion. I didn t have a chance to get the gelato but plan on coming back to try it.
Well.. The employees were stocking shelves the entire shopping trip.. And very much blocking all the paths. At 1pm! Aisles are narrow and that's fine but the employees don't smile or move out of the way for you, so I won't go back. The cashier was the worst of all, rolled eyes when we couldn't remember the price and he had to walk an aisle down to check for it. Figure out a reasonable stocking hour and get happier staff. I'll be going to Petaluma instead next time.
10 stars! The best takeout salad I have ever had. Greek chicken salad. Tasty, crispy, delightful. I live near numerous markets near San Francisco. This beats them all!
The place offers a vast range of fresh food. I enjoyed dining here. Staff members are always very welcoming, pricing is fair and the place is always kept clean.
ALL of a sudden a male worker was yelling ma am this is unacceptable! over and over. Then I realized he was talking to me. He told me I must leave immediately and was pointing at my mask I explained that the double tie mask was one that I wear daily at the hospital that I work in as a RN and should be adequate for shopping at the market After truly yelling at me for at least 10 seconds he stated my lower tie was not tied snug. I apologized and fixed it immediately. Ugh. True lack of communication skills. We all are under stressful times and need to be a little more patient and kind with our fellow human beings!
was there yesterday to buy iceream with my 3 kids ,we all had masks on except my 4 years old who has a medical condition so he can't wear one one of the store workers told us to get out of the store even though I explained that he can't wear a mask , he told me that he "shouldn't be in a grocery store spreading the virus all over " my toddler is perfectly healthy and has a doctor approval and yelling at me in front of the whole store was unacceptable! shame on you! we are from bay area and this never had happen anywhere esle!
Absolutely luv this local market in Point Reyes - has everything you could ever need. Stocked with a variety of specialty brands you would find in Mollie Stone/Woodlands as well as regular brands. Also has a butcher shop & deli with many local farm raised meats and cheese/baked goods. Produce is so fresh! Wish this was my local everyday market- will for sure visit everytime I'm in the area. Friendly customer service & make sure to get the soft serve ice cream.
I had the same experience as Vicki. The nighttime manager was the rudest person I have ever met. He also yelled at me and kept yelling. I couldn t believe it. I have been in the hospitality business for 37 years and have never been talked to like that. I had to lower my mask to halfway down my nose to put on my bifocals on to read a wine label. He could have said please don t do that. But he screamed at me. Don t think I will ever be back.
