People are great. Amenitys and pools all excellent Breakfast has huge choices. Room service staff amazing. Dinners have all been great.

I stayed for two nights with my husband at Padma Legian and really enjoyed our time there. Wish we would not have had to leave that early!

Actually, the hotel was so beautiful and the resort grounds so huge that we didnt even leave the resort! They have five pools of which two are infinity pools, one for 17+ only. But actually our favorite was the lagoon pool because of its length and the waterfalls. Next time, we definitely wanna book one of the lagoon rooms where you can directly swim into from your terrace!

We also really liked the food - we ate at both big restaurants and found the quality and selection to be really good. Our tip: try the giant Magharita - it's huge and it's perfect for sharing!

And it is totally worth booking a spa session - the spa is so beautiful and the staff was just highly professional!

You can easily spend a week at that resort as there is so much to do!

This Hotel is relieving and you can have a lunch during watching the seawave.

The customers are only Japanese and Australian. The lobby and the restaurant are open and it feels good. Live music and dance were performed here and there. There is a beach in front of you and there is a sunset bar. The pool was large and children were enjoying it. As soon as you leave the hotel there is a downtown area and the location is perfect. There are doubts about cleaning the room, such as the towel has not been changed and the outlet parts have been lost.

Fully recommended..natures and modern contemporary collide. Never missed the spa and traditional massage

it's great when the boutique sarasvati design store a part of padma resort held an traditional woven textile exhibition and invite the real woven artist from east sumba, when high quality culture from sumba need more exposure. i hope padma resort continued to supported indonesian culture.

If you can afford it, it is the most comfortable hotel in Legian.

Padma Resort in Legian is a luxury resort and a great place to stay, whether it be a couple for a honeymoon, a family or simply some friends travelling together.

We chose this because of its facilities and lower price point than Seminyak, whilst still being close to Seminyak. It s a sanctuary with plenty of greenery, away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded streets. Architecturally designed to replicate a garden landscape with Balinese decor, it s beautiful and peaceful.

The resort is so big and you could easily just hang out in the hotel if you wanted to.

The buffet is brilliant. Donbui Restaurant is where you will find breakfast served. It has a variety of cold options; fruit, cereal and antipasto. There s an egg station, waffle and pancake station, hot food and also traditional Indonesian fare. Tea and coffee is served and fresh juice. It s super popular, so get in early to avoid the crowds. We thoroughly enjoyed our daily buffet. At night, they rotate themed dining evenings.

A range of other eateries are also on site including Tenkai, brilliant Japanese menu, offering A la carte and also an interactive Teppanyaki experience. There s also two cafes by the pools or you can order food straight to your deck chair. If you re feeling hot, the Deli cafe at the front of the hotel is great to eat in an air conditioned space.

We made good use of the pools and split our time between the lagoon pools, just outside the rooms, the main pool and our favourite - the infinity pool, right on the water and reserved for adults only. We liked the option of a peaceful pool. The deck chairs provided ocean views and it was lovely to hear the splashing of waves.

We liked that there was an activity program and we made use of the Aqua aerobics which was good fun! They also have a very good fitness centre with plenty of treadmills, bikes and weights, as well as a sauna. They also run yoga in the mornings down by the pool and a suitable standard for experienced people or beginners.

The property also has a tennis courts, a conference centre and a wide variety of rooms to choose from. Whether it be a deluxe chalet, premier or family room, you ll find something to suit. Comfortable beds, large bathrooms, air con, free bottled water and fridges in each room.

The staff are absolutely delightful, there s always plenty of staff around and it feels super safe. We thoroughly recommend this resort to stay for a relaxing holiday.

A very beautiful resort ... with lots of swimming pools, behind the resort it immediately monitors. Meeting rooms are quite a lot. But the price rate is quite high for the middle to lower classes.

Great facilities and looks great. Only negative was offered an upgrade which we took, to get a better room and to get access to the garden club. Room was nice but I think they need to re-look at the garden club. It's great to get free cocktails but it's pointless sitting in the room to drink. Would be better next to the pool.

It's a really nice hotel. Huge gardens, several pools,big breakfast selection.
It's quite popular with Australian families with several young kids. There's a dedicated kids pool, but it seems all the kids play in the lagoon pool that is open to all.
Fortunately the infinity pool is only open to 18+ guests. A great place to relax.
The breakfast buffet is huge. Lots of Asian and western options. Please avoid 9:30am to 10am. It's so crowded that the staff clears and reassigned our table while getting a new plate (full cup of coffee and glass of juice still on the table!).

There are several theme restaurants and "The Deli". The latter is a small, but nice bistro with mostly western and some Asian food options. The homemade iced tea is amazing.
They also show AFL and other sports here on a big screen.

The rooms were cleaned well every morning. They also came in, in the afternoon, to close the curtains.
The "S.K.A.I." beach club has very cold beer and a DJ every night. Awesome!

Overall a good resort. I recommend it for families with kids and couples. Single travellers might feel a bit bored.

The Padma is a beautiful experience. We have been 5 times over 10 years and it has always been wonderful. The people are delightful, polite and provide great service. Each room or villa we have tried has been great. A variety of dining options with something for everyone. Heaps of benefits like the garden club - great value! Entertainment has always been authentic and relaxing. Beautiful gardens, lovely national artwork and stunning pools.

It feels like the atmosphere of the resort. Many plants, so it's quiet when outdoors. If you want to go to Kuta Beach, just walk 5 minutes to the beach sand ... He.he

Since 2015, the room rate has risen a staggering 45%...!!!!! It is a really nice hotel, staff and grounds but the cost for us as previous frequent stayers is now well out of reach, especially for Bali. We now stay at more realistically priced locations.

That said, a recent restaurant visit there was quite disappointing with the food being surprisingly average, which never used to he the case.....

I was impressed by the speed of the staff's response and the smile. Both breakfast and room service were various and all were delicious. The garden of a plant unique to Bali was wide and there was a resort feeling, so I could have a quiet stay. There is staff who does braid by the pool, but it was very popular and was waiting for order. It was cute and good to weave the ribbon It is recommended because the price is low because the quality is not comparable to the beach aunt!

I want to go there again. I can not stay in this class of hotel for the same amount in Japan and Hawaii.
You can feel Bali without leaving the hotel. Yoga, Kecak dance, folk dance, Balinese rice, pool, fitness studio, spa, poolside bar.
I can not leave the hotel (laughs)
People who are staying at many luxury hotels may not have enough rooms.
But it is enough to say clearly. A Chinese family stayed next door, and it was noisy until late at night with other family members, but it was not enough to worry at all whether we became calm in the holiday mode. Westerners across the street seemed ugly and hated. (Lol)
In a word, room is luck (lol) If you want to keep distance from other guests, I think that it would be better to spend a little more and upgrade to a villa type or super deluxe

Been there last Sept. Nice place to stay. Long & wide beach. Recommended!

Good stay, bit noisy with work men out front of our room fixing pipes. There alot of Australians here and mostly families.
Nice swimming pools and very clean.
Breakfast is big and ok - not the best quality on some of the food but the coffee is good.
Room service food was great especially the pizzas and mac and cheese.
All staff friendly and remembered us from our last visit.
Good location and very close to everything.few bars and cafes.
Adult pool over looks the beach which is nice spot to watch the sunset about 6pm.
Good stay.

Padma Legian is a charming 5 star beachfront hotel located in hustle bustle Legian, you wont feel like staying in Legian when you are here because you won't hear any touts offer you taxi/massage/tattoo/hair braided :))) the good part is they have interesting gift shop called Sarasvati Design, they recently host an exhibition of East Sumba Textiles which is very recommended to check out! The pieces displaying on the gallery are made out of natural stuff that won't harm the environment!

It is a very big resort and you get the impression that the details are being managed neatly everywhere.
There are four swimming pools, and the atmosphere is good.
From the place where children are playing to the place where my older sisters play.

So it is time to visit Asians do not see well and nearly 90 percent are Australians. Europe and Japan are the rest. If you are in the Infinity Pool, here is Australia or Bali ...
The food is delicious but not impressive.
The rooms are clean and luxurious.
I would like to give 4.5 points, but I can not choose .5, so 5 points

Recommend hotel in Seminyak, if you want to stay a few day in Bali, they have good receptionist & good view inside hotel

We had the most extraordinary romantic getaway at the Padma Ubud. Every need was catered for, our romantic dinner was divine and special. The rooms were large and well decorated. The view from the balcony was unlike anything we've ever seen. Having a shuttle service into Ubud meant we knew we could head out and get home safely.

We loved the staff and had the most wonderful conversations and made life long friends with Dwikey.

We'll be back. Thank you to all the staff for making this such a memorable holiday we will never forget.

This is what resort life is all about!
Entering the front door, it's been like a different world since then. It's like staying at a Southeast Asian resort. The rooms should also be clean, but the facilities were rather large and just walking around the well-appointed Balinese-style building was a great way to get out of your daily routine. It was good enough to go in and out of the pool all day. The atmosphere of the breakfast restaurant was perfect. Oh, I want to go back.
