It was just OK. Was greatly lacking in interesting exhibits and there was an odd urine like smell in exhibit hall 2.

The Butterfly exhibit was pretty cool.

We saw the Secret Oceans 3D show. Both my wife and teens to enjoy documentaries but this one was pretty stale. I found the Imax movie area to be incredibly small in regards to both the screen and the seating area.

You want THE BEST IMAX experience in WA(I know it's not IMAX 70mm but come on)? You come here and enjoy your favorite blockbuster movie.

One note: only the Boeing IMAX theater is the one I am talking about. Not the other one(trash), check your ordering system to make sure.

Absolute fun! Great staff and VERY informational. Didn't know you could have so much fun while learning. My favorite room was the butterfly room! Though prices can be a bit expensive, but you'll get your moneys worth!

Entry was included in my City Pass (if you haven't heard of the City Pass then definitely look it up - great value). As a person with a huge interest in Science, and having worked in the Scientific industry, I was very excited to see this place as I had heard a lot about it. Sadly, even after all of the fan-fair it is simply a glorified Children's museum. Many of the exhibit's were very "dumbed down" and not really all that informative - mainly directed towards very young children. However on a more positive note, the staff were very friendly and approachable, and the Butterfly house was rather fun.
Would recommend to family groups with young kid's.

Great place to visit in Seattle. Kids enjoyed the visit.

If you're from Vancouver, BC, my tip would be to get an annual membership to our Science Centre as it includes free entrance to other Science centers including this one in Seattle.

A fun place for families and school field trips. We attended several birthday parties here. Very interesting. Parking can be a challenge, budget some time for looking around. The lot at times is full.

Overall great experience. The kids love it every time we go. I get a little bored after 3 hours( but I've come here 6x a year), but the only thing that makes the kids leave is when they get hungry. Butterflies, insects, and rotating exhibits are good fun to experience.

Great

The Pacific Science Center is a bit dated nowadays, and definitely for younger kids. It looks like exhibits hadn't really been touched in twenty years or so. The staff was all friendly and were great to interact with, but mostly exhibits were reading and learning. Laser show and planetarium probably would've been interesting but were an additional ticket price.

This place is awesome! Tons to do, it has a really neat maker's space and lots if hands on experimental stuff. Wonderful for kids and big kids alike. Make a day of it though, it is a little pricy for a short trip. Loved it!

Great place for children of all ages! Interactive exhibits and presentations throughout the day. Our YMCA day camp kids had a BLAST exploring the huge displays before heading off to the Seattle Center for more fun.

Most of the exhibits seem to stay the same while changing or adding one or two few things, and the parking lot for the science center doesn't seem to have a convenient entrance, instead you would need to walk out and around to the front. Other than that, it's a lot of fun with much to explore, unless you've been there before of course.

There is a massive amount of displays to check out. The laser dome is really cool. I spent most of my time in the laser dome. Some of the songs are too loud and the high notes are ear piercing. Some of the laser lights don't make sense and don't go with the music. However some of the songs are just fantastic and make it well worth going and checking out! Overall I had a great time!

Always very fun to see so many exhibits, some new and some staple. Kids are easily distracted here, but the movies and presentations can be very interesting for adults too. The architecture is unique and it's great to take pictures her early in the day and later when the sun is going down.

Came for New Year's Eve at Spectra. Good experience going through the exhibits with cocktail in hand. Not much to see though. Thin and crowded staircase to get up to the VIP area. Snacks could've been managed or placed more strategically to avoid causing the line to block the entrance. Very disappointed by the lack of fireworks.

Very well priced for all the exhibits they had. It's aimed for kiddos aged 4-9, but they have tots area for infants and kids under 3 which looked amazing! Good food at their small cafe. The IMAX was a tad pricey.:)

We got in for free, so it was worth the price of admission. They really have a great location but need some major renovations and better displays. The workers all seemed a little unmotivated and not very professional.

Sound is great, picture is amazing, 3-D was awesome, but the theater seats are old and not comfortable. They need to update the theater for the amount of money we spent to see a 45 min movie. Popcorn was also a 3 star. Staff was not very kind either. Paid $20 for parking, plus the movie. They need to spice things up there!

Took my wife as a part of our anniversary surprise, as someone who's lived in Washington most of her life and never been it was a blast to go! I enjoyed the little flashbacks of when I was much much younger! We also saw Bohemian Rhapsody at the Boeing IMAX! Which was a great experience!

Science? What science? This place was very disappointing and not worth the money at all. Parking is extra on top of the "premium" price for tickets. Place is dirty and not interesting at all. They also lack staff to keep people under control.

I don't know what exactly to say for this review. This place is amazing!! I grew up visit the science center. It is the coolest thing for children and adults. I can't even fully describe what the experience is like. From hands on stuff in the building, reptile shows, fun stuff to do outside, the water fountain outside which is super fun to play in. My most recent experience was going to a Pink Flyod laser show in the laser dome. Was beyond amazing. A really crazy experience honestly. Would recommend the laser show more so for the adults or couples looking for a cool date idea.
I highly highly recommend this place! 10/10

Wonderful hands on Science Center for all ages! Our little one had a blast in the designated toddler area and all of us (adults included) enjoyed all the hands on activities. Highly recommend!!!

Maybe kids would enjoy it more than I did.

Maybe kids would enjoy it more than I did.

The animatronic dinosaurs were awful. They looked like big toys that moved slowly and were unlifelike. I'd rather sit at home and watch Jurassic Park.

The insect museum was small but cool, and the staff was fairly interactive and informative.

We did not see the Imax theater or the King Tut exhibit because they were extra charges and we were trying to save money.

Ultimately as an adult I would rather surf Wikipedia than go to their exhibits.
