This is our kids favorite place in all of Seattle and it's fun for parents too! There's so much to do, plan to spend a whole day here and check out the extra shows available at the Imax and planetarium they were well worth the time.

Great exhibits, particularly for hands-on learning. If visiting in May, check in to find out if there are any closures for annual maintenance. We were surprised to find all of the outdoor space essentially closed down for repairs during our visit. But the indoor exhibits more than made up for that.

The only real IMAX in Seattle. The screen is simply amazing and you cannot experience a movie in IMAX anywhere else. Southcenter and Northgate are LIEMAX. The Pacific Science Center has the most impressive screen around and every "big" movie should be seen there if possible. I don't really know much about the exhibits in the museum, but i'm sure they're average. Ha, who cares. High rating because the IMAX is wonderful.

Everytime I come to the Pacific Science Center it's a great day! We've been to see Pompeii, Sherlock, Terracotta Warriors and more. Their displays are always very well done with knowledgeable staff nearby to answer questions. The planetarium is awesome with a wide variety of shows. The Laser Dome is a must! Laser 90s is AWESOME! Love this place, membership paid for itself and beyond!

This place is awesome. We didn't have much time when we visited a year ago and knew we had to come back next time we were in town. Our toddler son loves it (so many interactive exhibits) and so do we!

If you have a partner who loves science, you re bound to visit some science centers whenever you travel. We ve been to our fair share. Some have been amazing, and some have been duds. Unfortunately, this one was a dud.

It is very specifically science activities meant for kids. They have live butterfly exhibit, where you go into a little sanctuary and some are flying around you, so that wasn t bad. The only thing that was pretty cool was the laser show. For matinees, it s $5 but since we bought the museum and show tickets online beforehand, we got jipped and paid $10 (on top of the museum admission, which isn t cheap at $26 a pop). The laser show features a different artist s music for each show, synced up to lasers. The one we saw was for the Beatles. They didn t play most of the popular songs, but it was still fun. Just make sure you arrive 15 minutes prior to the show to get seats.

If I lived in the area, I would probably go from time to time just for the laser shows. But otherwise, this museum was very underwhelming. Unless you have little kids, you can skip this.

If you re local and have kids 10 years and younger I would highly recommend trying out an annual membership. The daily admission price is too rich for me. (One adult and two kids = $50. No thanks.) But an annual membership is a fantastic value.
This place is designed for everything to be hands on.
My personal favorite is the butterfly house. It s magical.

Very nice place to spend at least half a day. 2 adults and 1 kid costs $51 for visiting most locations (excluding IMAX stuff) There are many interactive demos that will amaze kids and adults alike. I recommend allocating 4-5 hours to see it all without rushing.

We love it here! Good for kids 2 and up. Very engaging exhibits and a killer toddler section (water table and drum room!) Older kids will love the science shows, planetarium and butterfly house.

We have a membership, and if you're local you'll want one, too. We go at least once a month, but pack a lunch or plan to eat at the taco place at the armory, the on-site Cafe is straight-up awful.

Very large and varied science center. Plan on a full day to really enjoy it all. Butterfly habitat is included in the cost of admission. Could have spent a few more hours there if we had the time.

PacSci is run by some of the friendliest and most energized, positive, and passionate people you'll ever meet! There are tons of activities, classes, events, and cool places to explore - you could spend a whole week here and still be finding new things. Don't skip the amazing IMAX theater; it's possibly the single best theater in this part of the country!

Pretty interesting to go around and learn different things but it is really aimed for the children around the age of 9 and younger in my opinion. The place is a little older, which there is nothing wrong with, however some of the exhibits appear to be dirty because of it. Unless you have children, you aren't really missing much.

Great place to visit, young or old. Lots of things to do for kids (touch, climb on, look through ect.) We only allowed ourself a little over an hour, the youngest person in our group was 17, BIG mistake we easily could have stayed 2-3 hours. It is worth the visit. We did return at night for the later show (there is an additional cost for this, but well worth it!) The later light show is set to music. Beautiful lights, movement and music. You can lay on the carpet or sit in the chairs. If you have sensitive ears bring foam ear plugs because the music is played really loud. It was a multi-sensory experience.

Great place to bring the kids. Can easily spend an entire day here. Would suggest going across Seattle Center to get lunch if you don't bring something. Always special events going on. Good place to go on a rainy Seattle day.

The museum's layout is poor and hard to understand on the provided map. Targeted mostly at younger children the exhibits failed to capture the interest of adults. The special exhibit was fabulous however.

Always a good time at pacsci. The girl who does the Supercold presentation was funny and engaging. Butterfly house is always a thrill! Just enough bugs to be grossed out but not so many that you want to leave, haha

Awesome place for kids and grown ups alike. The exhibits are great, informative and very interesting. The best part is the butterfly habitat where you are are put up face to face with nature and butterflies. IMAX is amazing but that would require separate tickets. They also have a number of games to engage the kids and test their IQ. Highly recommended for kids of all ages.

This center is worth the trip to Seattle! Education and fun align perfectly for all ages. The toddler areas are vibrant and even teens find enough activities to fill the day.
If visiting, I'd recommend you pack snacks as the cafe, while delightful, is smaller than I would expect for a facility its size

The first building was kind of worn down, but my husband rather enjoys playing with things instead of just looking at photos and they have a lot of things to play with. It is very interactive and it's all at your own pace. No one to push you to the next exhibit.
