Fun place for people of all ages. You have the option of purchasing tickets or the wristband for the rides. For me, tickets are enough since I only like the roller coaster and the Ferris Wheel. The park is located on the Santa Monica Pier so there s other things to do outside of Pacific Park. Take advantage of the vista points to capture great photos!

Anyone who rates this place as beautiful hasn't been to a real beach. White sand does not equal beautiful. This place is dirty, and smelly. There are homeless, alcoholics, and drug addicts everywhere. Thousands of garbage cans lining the beach but it appears no one can be bothered to use them. If you pull out a snack you will get assaulted immediately by a hundred seagulls and pigeons. On top of that, the pier appears as though it met the early 80s and forgot to continue developing. Everything about this place was not worth the death defying drive out here on the interstates.

Great experience and lots to do. Pier is fun to walk around and explore, and beach isn't that bad. DON'T buy the umbrellas or surfboards that the Mexican people that will try to sell you them for $20 (which seem like they got from the dollar store), but the mangos they sell for $3 are ok to buy. Also near the steps of the pier you may see a guy in an old Elmo suits trying to take pictures with kids. Cops here are mean and extremely rude, they wouldn't let the 89 Second comedy show perform. You may also see rock n roll Jesus towards the back of the pier (Same guy at Hollywood Blvd.), you may want to sit and listen to him for a bit. Oh yeah and the bathrooms are horrible.

The kids LOVED this place! They went absolutely ballistic, and even though trust me when I say that I have a million and one more pictures in my phone of children screaming their heads off with excitement! Our only regret is that we did not get there early and make a day of it- especially with those prices. My siblings and I brought the niece and nephews; the boys were 5, 6, and 13 and the baby girl is just over 1. The 12 year old did feel left out because he wanted to go on the "big kid" rides when the younger ones wanted to go on the "little kid" rides, but the 1 year old was fine with hanging out at the arcade and pretending to drive the quarter-machines shaped like cars and motorcycles. Overall this is a great place to bring the kids no matter the age since they have a variety of rides! Have fun making new memories!!

The ticket is pretty expensive. You need to buy it somewhere else. I bought it online with a good deal like two unlimited ride for $36 with $20 game card. It's a fun place to go or spend time with it. Otherwise, the unlimited ride is $28 per person. One ride is around $5~$8.

Super crowded but really a fun place to spend the afternoon with the kids. Ate at he Mexican place at the end of the pier and it was actually pretty decent! The many musicians along the pier add to the atmosphere.

Who doesn't like an amusement park, on a pier, along the Pacific Coast, with perfect weather nearly everyday of the year? Lots of things to see and do here. The park has the usual rides, games and food. There are a few restaurants and bars, along with a really nice public park and beach. Definitely worth a day tip, if you've never been.

I've never gone to Santa Monica, but I've seen it. I really reccomend to go here if your in the LA area. The staff at the funnel cake building were very caring. I also went on the roller coaster and it is worth the $10 because your supposed to ride it once but the ride operators let us go two times.
