I don t usually speak up about road incidents, but we just had a horrible experience with one of your trucks! Truck #2503 almost killed us. We were able to slam on the brakes as we traveled west on I -44 in Missouri in order to avoid collision. This truck pulled over extremely suddenly into our lane so he could pass the truck ahead of him. There was literally no room for him to fit between us and the car ahead of us. He gave no warning and jeopardized the safety of us and the car ahead. He scared us horribly. His license number was U2010851, from what I can tell from the photos I took of his rig. Please let him know how dangerously he was driving. It should never have happened.
go work anywhere but here you won't make any money here plus they have cameras that record you while you drive, there contracts are more important than the drivers... as long as they're making money from their contracts, you'll be lucky if you make anything over $800 a week here, if you don't let the driver facing camera record you while you drive the safety guy will cuss you out beliddle you, and threaten you, loads are short most loads are 500 miles or less your average less than 2,200 miles a week,
I worked here for over 90 days. The miles during that time 1700-2300. I would not recommend working here. They will refuse to get Dot issues fixed on the road. Was forced to drive with break pads that were illegal as well as tires. You are not allowed to park on the side of the road for any reason other then your truck completely shutdown. If you have a blow out keep rolling your not allowed to pull over and check. You will be told we put over a million dollars into the drivers building/ lounge which is a complete lie. It's decent but not as they say. This job will require you to constantly switch from day/night shift. You will be fatigued. Nearly every load will need to be scaled. On my last pay check they took my orientation pay as well doubled up on my insurance deductions. So just beware if you work here.
It was many year ago when I drove for them. And to me . very good company to work for pay good I brought home good money they ran. If u had a problem they wouldn't Ignore you , or not try help u resolve the problem. They take of their trks and their., now if ur doing the thing u supposed be doing it is what it is. I only knew a few drive complain how they wasn't make money that because they chase truck stop I'd u knw what I mean also good benefits . oh I use to bring $800 to $1100 home a week. I left and Went out to dart transportation out Eagan Minnesout to become own operter
Clean showers, good comraderie and responsive shop personnel.
Like the drivers treatment by the company and work here
Driver number 10324 ran 3 cars off the road, cut several cars off and then proceeded to slam on his brakes every time. He was driving in two lanes and almost side swiped another semi. Ridiculous.
Tried to make it work, but they needed to let me stay on my team mission
Things to know: Recruiters: Tommy Wilson will quote one pay and then tell you he was wrong after he gets you to quit your previous job. They have you to sign a paper stating you will not take more that one 30 break in 11 hours. They will provide you with transportation, motel, medical dot and meal.If you quit,or they fire you in 90 days you must pay all of it back.NO OTHER COMPANY I HAVE DEALT WITH DOES THIS. If you try to talk to anyone in Memphis They do not want to hear anything .I had medical issue due to the truck I drove was full of smoke. They did not want to hear my concerns.I do not smoke. It made me very sick to where I had to go to the ER and then a few days later to another doctor. They will not help cover the cost Willard Stanfill is very rude and will not listen. If you try to talk to this man he interrupts you constantly. He is not willing to listen. This is not a "family" you want to be part of. I thought this was a going to be a good company even though I was warned.I quit a good company to work for this halfway company.Check there CSA score. communications equipment in trucks is over 7 years old MCP100 very slow, unreliable. plus load platform is message style format.Horrible. in cell phone terms they are a bag phone from the 80's Trucks front brakes constantly pulling to left if you put them on with medium pressure even after it had been in the shop. There are better companies out there. There are worst. I wished I had listened..
I think if you have a CDL and you are looking for a career with a company that cares about their employees, then Ozark Motor Lines is where you want to work. Not only is the pay good they treat all their employees as if they are family. I ve had some special people to me work at Ozark and they along with some other employees just can t say enough good about them. This is a company where the OWNER stays involved. Ozark you re doing some mighty fine TRUCKIN !!!
Not good to work for At first it ok. Until they put them. Thing in your truck .and they watch you 24/7!!!!!!
Worked here for 4 yrs it's a good family oriented business.
You fellas have a truck driver and truck 1780 need to tell him to take a bath he smells terrible here at FedEx freight smelling up the whole building
Your driver of trailer number 3030 about ran me in my Subaru Impreza off the road merging into my Lane just before the Madison, WI 12/18 exit just to in less than 30 seconds completely merge over to the far right lane. He/she was clearly not paying any attention and should not be driving. They're going to kill someone because of their lack of competence!
I worked for ozark for 2 years would still be there but had family issues and had to leave for a company closer to home, I didn't run hard but made good money, equipment was excellent, they were constantly updating equipment, had a great relationship with my DM and they are or at least when I was there in 2011 nonforce dispatch, I would could consider ozark motor lines a top of the line company and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to make a good living with a family oriented company.
Love the company it really is family oriented and thank god they got my husband good safe for Christmas.
Even tho my time was cut short at Ozark due to an accident I'm honestly looking forward in the future to drive for them again good stuff nice ppl treat you like family pay is good it's just knowing how you want to get paid an what you want i made like 3k in a month
company driver for 8 years. Great job good people.we also trained new driver's good pay
Out of 2 years of driving. It's the best. Wish i had found them 20 years ago.
Family company that treats their drivers as humans and family. Performance and communication goes a long way here which gets shown it's appreciation.
Amazing company and really great pay. Definitely a family compnay
I would suggest going to work anywhere else except here. You can make more money at Swift.
I despise this company and the dispatcher in Lenoir. My husband has driven for them for 3 years and he is local driver, however he is rarely home 1 or 2 nights a week. I recently had 2 heart attacks and need him at home. Dispatch tells him if he don't like it to leave. strange....most all the Other local drivers make it in every day. UPDATE: Finally got my husband to move on. He is happier. Ozarks Lenoir yard does not clean nor service the trucks. New company does both, rather offers a washing station for drivers.
Low pay.. Ozark pays 17.50 per hour and offers overtime, but good luck getting hours. They will make sure to give you Jonesboro, AR or Jackson, TN which is less than 8 hours per day. They got it all figured out on how much money a driver will make per week. Insurance is to high for the amount of money they are willing to pay. On average I make 700 dollars and less take home. I just made 433 dollars take home with four days of work. There is way to much responsibility driving a truck with this type of money being payed. Im better off filing for unemployment until a better job comes along. Truck driving is nothing like it used to be. It's just not worth the risk anymore. I hope they fire me.
Ozark is a good company to work for. But, like most trucking companies it may not work for everyone. Fed ex is one of their biggest customers. If you don't like driving at night, then this may not for you
Just started and I must say they remind me of an organized line-haul company!!! They make the container world much easier to deal with!!! Great Job Ozark...
Ozark is a wonderful company. , be ready for a shock they treat you like a true human and friend...their home time policy isn t going to ever be touch their is the best as far as trucking goes ...pay is good if that s all you care about they have the money you won t just don t turn down a load and be ready to work :)
Keep track of your pay they do slick divison and they charge you for orientation, they lie very well and illegal logging
8.28.19 7:30pm i57n. He tutnee on his blinker wamting to merge into the right lane that i was in. I was next to his front of his trailer as he started abruptly taking my lane and running me off the road causing me to hit a curb barrier and damaging my trailer tires. His lane was not closed in the front nor did he have to absolutely merge at that moment. In 8 years of driving this was a first.
I had the horrible experience of being tailgated by one of the Ozark driver's while driving with my wife. This maniac ran up aggressive to the rear of my car while I was driving the speed limit in the right lane. He rode so close that I could not see the front bumper on the tractor. This happen on I-85 South near exits 26 -22. There is no reason to drive in such an intimidated minor. We both feared for our safety because of the actions of this Ozark driver!!!!!
I've been here for 2 yrs. Doing City and just like it.
Used to love it... but they're only family oriented if you have their last name. They only care about FedEx and themselves . They don't care about drivers at all
I worked for ozark the best company I have ever driven for. Great equipment they make sure they fix anything wrong. They respect the drivers and was always upfront with people.
In regards to driver 3341 did you take your cdl class? Because I was severely confused as to why you thought it was omay to almost rear ended my three children and Myself. Poor quality people skills.
Very rude and unprofessional driver. Told everyone to F off blocked the highway for 10 min trying to get out. Shouldn t even have a license
A great company to work for as a company driver and owner operator. Best support system of drivers hands down.
Great Company! Joined recently hoping for the best for me and my fellow co drivers! Come join us! We'd be happy to have you at Ozark
If you are seriously looking for a place to work? I highly recommend Ozark Motor Lines! because they don't played around!. give them a call first! And tell them what you want to do and find out if they have what you are looking for! Welcome to ozark!
My son works for Ozark. While in for his 10 hr break we drove down to see his new truck and have dinner. Very nice facility for the drivers and their mandatory down time.
Great dispatchers, mechanics, safety oriented, great home time and family oriented, great equipment and the facility is the" bomb". I enjoyed every day of my employment there ect...
Nearly was ran off the road; called the safety line and was told we were at fault. Clearly they dont care that their drivers abusing others on the road! Beware these vehicles.
Had one of there drivers tear my bumper, head lights and hood off of a 2017 kw680 while I was parked in a truck stop. He took off , got at least 6 gears while accelerating. Finally he stopped when another driver got in front of him with a hammer. Said he didn't know he hit me, but he moved my truck 4 feet from where it was parked. Driver had only been driving for one week, didnt have any permits or proof of insurance. Tried to file a claim with Ozark for me having to stay in a hotel while my truck is getting fixed to get reimbursed. They say it's not there fault and will not pay. That I should have been parked somewhere else, even though I was in a marked parking spot, and the driver was cited for hit and run and leavening the site of a accident.
Two week review of working for Ozark. I feel like a number not a human being. Safety is of no concern here, was forced to drive all night last night, nodding off at the wheel. Brought it up to three of my supervisors, all took offense and became defensive. I ve been driving 35 years and safety is my number one goal I only wish it were Ozark as well. To be continued...
If you don t want to be manipulated and have money you earned stole from you do not work for this company. They lie and steal from your earnings and will cause you to have E Log violations and if you complain about your driver managers costly mistakes it will only get worse. They also don t want to keep their equipment fixed and maintained, I ve had to fight with them numerous times to fix things before a disaster happens out on the road. If you value yourself and your family, anywhere would be better to work for but this company because they don t care and will try to blame everything on you.
