Fantastic service department - very friendly and very helpful!

What a great job John and Mike did to make my car purchase easy and painless

Dealer was not upfront & honest with me. I specifically asked about a feature on the vehicle and the dealer lied to me because he thought he may lose the sale if he'd been honest. It was not until later, at home, when I realized the vehicle did not have the feature he'd just told me it had. We spoke in detail about it so there was no misunderstanding, it was just pure dishonesty. I would have purchased the higher trim level had he just told me the truth. So now I have a beautiful new ride, but it comes with this sour taste every time I get in it because I am constantly reminded of the feature I wanted, the feature I thought I was getting, the feature I was willing to pay more money for, the feature I was lied to about, the feature I now have to live without because this guy, for whatever reason, opted to lie. For this reason the entire experience was completely ruined, and I cannot help but feel like I may get lied to again if I go back to that dealership for anything. I even called the dealer up to speak politely with him and give him a chance to apologize and admit he made a mistake, however he said I was lying, and he denied ever telling me this vehicle had the feature I asked about. It was in that moment that I knew he'd intentionally lied to me just to close the sale. It is dealers like this one that give all car dealers a terrible reputation. This one lie ruined my entire experience and will probably keep me from ever stopping in that dealership again for any reason. It's not right to just blatantly lie to customers - I was gonna buy a vehicle regardless, so why lie? Makes absolutely no sense to me! Most car dealers would kill for a buyer like me, I tell you what I want, you tell me the orice, I never once haggle about the price, you tell me you'll need a down payment of $$$$$, I write a check and sign the contract without ever asking for 1 penny off, I never squabbled about document fees, or any of the other thousands in fees tacked on, yet I still get lied to. Why? For what reason would there be to lie? This is the 3rd new car I've purchased, but thank goodness it's the first time I've been lied to for no apparent reason other than the fact that the dealers at this dealership just lie I guess. I should've went to Grenada. They would've never put me in this situation. Lesson learned!

Update to reply: Tried several times to contact Jeff Hawkins but either he's a myth, he's never there, or someone is going out of their way to make sure I don't apeak with him. Not aure which it is, but just wanted it to be known that I did make several attempts to work this out amicably.

I have never bought a vehicle so easily! I found a Yukon online at Cannon. Called Mike Gates at Cannon of Oxford. Was able to make the deal price and trade over the phone and drove to sign papers and pick it up! I drove 3.5 hours and it was worth every mile!

My car had several things that needed repaired, but I took it due to a noise that turned out to be a radiator fan. I called Tessa, and she got me an appointment set for the day I asked for, notified me of what needed to be repaired as soon as she knew, and had my vehicle fixed in a timely manner! Tessa is always so professional and takes great care of all my repairs and services!
