Great experience riding on the Oxford Bellevue Ferry!

Everyone should take a trip on the ferry, the prices are good, the staff is very friendly and kind. Great views and both locations have a lot of history to take in, we will go again soon.

Wonderful piece of active living Maryland history. This ferry is an essential part of visiting St Michael's or Oxford area. We have utilized it while cycling and driving. It's a short ride with good views and a great reminder of a time past. Staff are friendly and engaging and the cost is fairly resonable. Take it at least once, especially if you are staying in or visiting Oxford. It drops you on the doorstep of the Robert Morris Inn.

Nice ride over the river to the quaint town of Oxford. Bring bicycles for a nice tour.

Attraction for turisters small ferry in Eastern shore of Maryland in Chisepick Bay,recommended for children and just for fun. Works only summertime .One way or returned trip. In cars, motorcycles, bicycles or pedestrians. Scheduled about every 15 minutes.

My wife and I were driving around the classic Chesapeake Bay towns of Oxford and St Michaels during a couple of sunny summer days, midweeek in late July 2018, when in Oxford we came upon the ferry landing. We saw the historical marker saying this is believed to be America's oldest continually running ferry. We also noted the low prices: $12 for a car, one-way. We noticed that only 3 or 4 cars were waiting to use the ferry (the ferry holds a total of 9 vehicles). We realized that by taking this ferry to Bellevue, we would be heading back toward the town of St. Michaels, which we planned to go to next, so off we went on the ferry. It's not an old, historic boat, but it is certainly cute and cozy. We loved our short boat ride, going straight across a wide river to Bellevue. Often, impromtu travel experiences are the best. This was terrific. Highly recommended.

If you re like me and show up without cash, they will still let you ride, but will ask you to mail them the money when you get back home. Love the trust!

More than a way to get to the otherside of the river. A great experience onboard the oldest ferry rouge in the country, with great hospitable and friendly captains.

If your heading to st. Michaels take a ride on the oldest ferry in the country .It's 15 dollars for one car and 2 passengers the view on the water is fabulous

Took us from Bellevue to Oxford without sinking, two thumbs up. Very reasonably priced and either side is a pretty place to wait for it. Vessel was clean and looked freshly painted. Bristol fashion in fact. Crew were polite and friendly.

If you're starved for seagoing experience, then this $12 one and a half mile ride May float your boat.

Love the views but as the prices rise, it's no longer a family friendly activity.

My family has been crabbing here all of my life. Love this place.

Yes, it's a little pricey, but the experience is wonderful and you're taking part in paying for the upkeep on something that's more than just a small business-- it's practically a floating lankmark.

Nice, but would be a lot nicer if they didn't clean the port o potties on a busy summer Saturday!

Cool little trip. On the return trip, we arrived as they were pulling away from the dock. They actually came back and got us. I thought that was awesome
