Romantic atmosphere. Clean men and women restrooms. Free parking with handicapped accessible entrance. No valet parking. Restaurant has bar. Great customer service. No live music. Upon entering the establishment the decor and ambiance is very nice. The hostess was on her phone when we came in and was sitting next to us at our table and remained on her phone the whole time. Our waitress was amazing and attending our every need. The food felt overpriced I ordered a lobster ravioli and was underwhelmed with the flavoring. Wish I could try the Sunday brunch tho it sounded more appetizing.

Typically I would enjoy this place. I came in and they chose the tables they serve it took us almost 15 minutes to be served and yet those after us were served immediately the waiter was all overly busy and not attentive my food tasted seven days old! I will not patron this restaurant anytime soon.

Food was beyond excellent! Great variety & excellent quality! Staff was pleasant and available. The ticket was high and I wasn't aware, lucky I had it is I might have been washing dishes! I would suggest for the cost that drinks should be included!

Wanted to do something unique and romantic to celebrate our anniversary while staying in the Memphis area. Sunday Brunch at Owen Brennan's fit the bill perfectly. Authentic Cajun cuisine all across the buffet stations.
My husband in particular loved the jambalaya pasta, gouda mac n cheese and the hot wings! Says if he ain't sweating, it ain't hot enough!
For me it was my carafe of mimosas, crispy French Toast, the deviled eggs were delicious and the crawfish ettofie.
Then there was the desserts.....fabulous homemade bread pudding with sauce, creme brulee, and cheesecake. I should have saved room for Bananas Foster but that's on me.
The Jazz Trio was an added bonus.
Please go. Even if it's a 30 minute drive!

The outdoor patio is one of the most under utilized aspects of Owen Brennan's. It was a beautiful day, Monday afternoon, weather was absolutely perfect and not a soul was out there except my wife and I. We enjoyed the privacy and the gurgle of the adjacent fountain. Oh by the way, the food was pretty good. And Chris was fantastic in helping us get the order going and making the afternoon even more enjoyable for our anniversary

Steak was pretty good, although a little bit overcooked. The beignets were only okay. I think there's something about the water in New Orleans that makes these things great.

Service however was very good and the place has a nice atmosphere. Perfect for date night!

Sunday Brunch,Where do I begin...we arrived early and were seated right away. The buffet was extensive .The place settings elegant. The atmosphere was upscale New Orleans. The food was Cajun with a little Memphis flavor .Delicious.The wait staff was on point ,friendly and attentive. The meal was wonderful. The problem came with the virgin bloody mary .It was packed with a little bacteria that comes from improper food temperatures. So to sum it up I spent 50. on an excellent meal drinks are extra .And chased it all down with a 5. bacteria cocktail and spent the rest of the day curled up in a ball in my bed with extreme stomach pain.Everyone worked so hard to make my visit pleasurable and one person dropped the ball. The "Bartender". please try to do better for your coworkers as their livelihood depends on it.

A few coworkers and I had visited OB for a luncheon, and I must say the customer service was spectacular. Every face greeted me with a smile, conversation, and courteousness. Our food was brought in a timely manner, and the food was delicious.

It was a beautiful place! As you walk in, to give your name, because there is a little wait time, there was a 3 piece jazz band playing. They were great! The saxophone player interacted with people and made the time go by quickly! Once you are seated you are able to get your plate and visit the famous Shorty who will make you the best omelet right in front of you while making 5-6 others right down the line and entertain you while doing it! He is amazing how he remembers the regulars names and orders. The food was great and there was everything your heart could desire, even prime rib, shrimp & dessert! I highly reccomend this wonderful place!

This place is elegant, clean and very, very classy! Great place for a romantic evening or just sitting at bar sipping wine! My only knocks is the price, buffet is $39.99 plus tax, and while the food is good, it's not $39.99 good lol so I say go every now and then not a all the time type thing! Oh the omelettes are amazing, it's just the guy cooking it is obnoxious with a dry since of humor that rubs people the wrong way, in which he talks so long it takes him longer to prepare your meal, so I d advise him to shut the hell up and cook!

It was not what I expected for the price. I was not satisfied at all. I was expecting a lot more for my money. I would not be going back. It was nothing more than a over priced IHOP breakfast that was not good at all.

The waiter wasn't as friendly as I would like. The food was just ok. I was disappointed because I've been to the brunch and it was amazing. I was not as impressed with the dinner as I was the brunch.

The Sunday brunch is awesome. There is a variety of foods. The salad and fruit bar is packed with fresh fruit and vegetables and shrimp & oysters. Shorty is awesome on the omelet station. His omelets are the best and he'll keep you entertained while you wait. There are all kinds of cajun specialties like etoufee & jambalaya as well as southern foods like fried catfish & fried chicken. The live music adds to the ambiance.

I always make sure to stop by here when i am in town. The food is really good. They have some of my favorite dishes! I really recommend the turtle soup for starters never a disappointment.

If you are hungry the portions are well sized. It's a slightly higher priced venue but you get the quality to match the price so that's a good thing.

The wait staff have mostly been working there for years and they know what is good and what's not. The service for the most part is fast unless they are crazy busy then expect to wait a while.

We're decided to sit outside in the side patio area. Much more our style. The main dining area is awesome with that old, almost New Orleans feel of a true Brennan's restaurant, but it can feel a little stuffy sometimes. Looks like they added some taller patio tables with a propane fire ring feature (didn't use it), but a great idea for cooler days. You'll notice there's a hodgepodge of outdoor and indoor (ragged upholstered banquette??) furniture also out there. I think they need storage or Salvation Army to make a big pickup. That, or they decided to cram together several 2-top bar-height bistro tables and chairs? Again, unclear and very distracting.

Got Friday's redfish special. The sauce-- oh, the sauce.. basically, redfish hiding in a delicious crawfish etouffee. Though crawfish was possibly present? The redfish-- though very well-seasoned-- had some questionable parts. Like, wasn't sure if it was bone, charred parts or something else, but that was only at the ends. The wife got the chicken sandwich, and she appeared to enjoy it.

Service was good. Server (blue pony tail) was nice, but she didn't seem like she wanted to be there? Like, missing that genuine smile and confident eye contact? Things I notice.. Anyway! Suck it up, sister.. You're in customer service. Learn to love it or get out. Even if it's a temporary gig. Something for management to figure out while hiring in an infamously high-turnover industry.

Ate there for lunch so didn't have time to talk to a manager. Again, nothing overwhelmingly alarming, just enough of little things to render 3 stars.

We enjoyed a wonderful 25th wedding anniversary celebration with friends at Owen Brennan s this week! It was such a delight to enjoy fine food inside a restaurant again. The staff were considerate and careful while making us feel right at home (again). Thanks to Jim, Austin, and their team of professionals!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits dish. AMAZING! The finale was a bananas foster dessert for the table. If you ve not yet experienced the delivery, you are missing out! Visit our friends at Owen Brennan s and see the delight for yourself

The Sunday brunch was one of my favorite meals in Memphis for years. This entire year every time we have eaten there it has been awful. $30 plus $3 for a non-a drink should warrant good hot food. The Belgian waffles and eggs Benedict are what they are known for and what had me returning month after month. However, since November of 2010 the food has gone down hill everytime I have visited. Unfortunately we will not be returning after our last visit left us with cold meat, 3 bad waffles (remade twice and once in the kitchen) awful eggs Benedict, disgusting shrimp (not at proper temp and over cooked) gritty nasty oysters. It was awful. Very sad as this was once the best brunch in Memphis. Peabody is a better choice for the same price and we will just make the drive there from now on. Hopefully they get their act together.

We eat at Owen Brennan's regularly for a late lunch and always sit in the bar area. There are sports playing on the televisions and good cajun music playing in the background. The service is top notch. Some of our favorite dishes are the BBQ Shrimp, Eggplant Victoria, Seafood Gumbo, Roasted Red Pepper soup, Italian Chicken soup, Shrimp Poorboy and the Beef brisket sandwich. The steak fries are wonderful.
