Stayed overnight. Serviceable room, average breakfast. Wouldn't return.

This is a wonderful Hotel/Golf, Fitness, and restaurant to visit and Join. However, now that eateries and Major Hotels welcome well behaved Dogs and their owners in allocated areas, I hope the Overstone Parks,new owners,will reconsider their policy in our favour. I know this is a great place to relax and enjoy with or without our beloved Pet.

In terms of our honey moon the accommodation was great. Unfortunately the meal in the restaurant was poor quality, poor value, and bland. They didn't have available a lot of the food on the menu including steak, chicken and salmon!!
I would recommend eating at the carvery at the overstone manner.However the in house breakfast was very good.

Bad service in the restaurant. Will not be returning.

Played today 7/11/20 good test of golf fairways a bit short and patchy but greens where fast good roll a few nice holes clubhouse friendly id play again 11 handicap

Swimming lessons for my granddaughter. Quite busy carpark at 5.30pm. Good facilities, wouldn't mind using them if the price is right.

But then having been on the original design team, I am biased

lots of people you will see, great place to come very relaxing.. you can select more menu. lovely staffs very entertaining and good service.and also the rooms are comfy.

Very poor service. Took way to long for food to come.

Sadly, the food was appalling. Food was overcooked to the point that my partner's scampi resembled shivelled up walnuts.
The lasgne too so badly overcooked I cld only pull the top away and eat what was left underneath.

However we did get half beer and 125 ml wine deducted pricewise.

This was a g8 place b4 Covid.....needs to get back to how it was.

Great leisure facilities, golf course, food and friendly service in the club house. Hotel Accomodation could do with an update.

Course was looking fantastic. Greens and fairways in excellent condition, shame I can't hit them!

Brought my partner for a birthday weekend. I paid to upgrade but unfortunately the heating was broken. After a cold night the very helpful staff gave me my upgrade fee back and moved us rooms with no trouble. Food was lovely and service quick. Leisure facilities were a great way to unwind. Very peaceful and relaxing weekend and the front desk staff were so help and friendly. Had a lovely weekend. Thanks overstone park

thankfully never stayed been waiting 6 months for a refund was promised my money back in 3/4 days that was 6 weeks ago they have ignored several emails wont be ever booking again id suggest book else were

Clean rooms. Great golf course. Inclusive breakfast was pretty poor.

Restaurants closed at present. Bar open. Great place. Friendly staff.

So much going on; golf course, swimming pool, spa, restaurant.

Good secluded and quiet location. Mix of hotel guests and those with holiday homes. Room clean and spacious. Service good - well sized bar and restaurant areas serving a good choice of food.

Great gym however a few of the machines could do with updating and better machines too.

Overall a nice stay. Gym, spa and swimming facilities are really good. Rooms are quite small but well kept, comfortable and brightly decorated. Dinner was tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good quality although there wasn't a lot to choose from. Great views of the golf coursr. There was lack of parking when we turned up as a lot of people use the gym facilities who aren't staying. Enjoyed the stay although it was rather pricey.

Have played this course a number of times and was disappointed with the condition of the greens, clearly repairing pitch marks doesn't happen at Overstone. We played BH Monday, didn't expect a quick round as the course was busy, which is good. However, who thought it was a good idea to send out the mowers in the middle of the day, surely they could have waited a day, or later in the afternoon. The bar staff were their usual miserable selves, no change there then. However, the course itself is still really nice, it rewards accurate driving but doesn't punish the wayward shot or two. I know the place has new owners and there is evidence of work being done to improve the place, so will be coming back again to see how they get on.

Basically a golf club on steroids. There is a hotel part (more like a motel really) with a central building containing reception, bar, restaurant, pool and spa. There are also lots of lodges which are privately owned. Then there's the golf club. The hotel part is OK but needs to be upgraded.

No catering for vegans and rooms were small. TV was broken

We had a lovely night here, room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was really nice this morning

Visited as a wedding photographer and stayed the night. Lovely room, relaxed feel in bar and restaurant. Beautiful greens and landscaping.

golf course is very good but food in the complex was not appetising.

Took the kids for swimming lessons, the environment is clean and welcoming. Would go again.

Nice course, very well kept. Bar is nice but a distinct lack of decent lager, the only drafts available are Fosters (eww) and Kronenberg.

Reception staff Sharon is the best! Rooms need updating to the 21st century though

Very calm and relaxing, rooms could be improved, food is OK. Worst internet connection I've ever had in hotel, 250kbps with 600ms ping, cant even handle viber calls, not to mention video calling or watching videos...

1st visit. Made welcome will definitely visit again. Enjoyed the golf course even if thunder caused us to finish early

I often take my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is yummy and the stuff is welcoming and cooperative. always when we visit this place we pass a splendid time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

What a lovely facility with helpful and friendly staff.

The course was wonderful, rewarded accuracy yet punishing if you took it for granted, slick greens with some tricky slopes at times, the only big let down was the bunkers, there was next to no sand in the and the sand that was in them would have been put to better use on a Wimpy building site, but that aside the wonderful set up and beautiful views across the lakes were spectacular.

A must visit for all standards of golfer!!

The location, design and layout of overstone park is fantastic. This has been however one of the worst nights sleep i have had in a hotel.

The floor above in the cedar spring room creates so much noise every time the person above moves. The amount of noise from the guests above, felt at times, that they were coming through the floor/ceiling in to our room.

I don't know what the size of the joists in the floor above our room, or the type of flooring used is, but that combined with the lack of insulation makes for a very noisy room and sleepless night. You can hear every movement the person above makes, this ranges from walking around, moving in bed, flushing the toilet and coughing.

Don't stay here if you would like a good night's sleep.

Lovely atmosphere and staff, lovely little gym and pool and a nice rang if beauty services and best of all delicous food

Very nice course, I very good condition, but like with everything at the moment, you can't access the whole complex properly

Overall I liked Overstone Park Hotel, atmosphere is nice, food choice is good. Good place to have less formal meating.

Really interesting golf course and pleasant friendly clubhouse.

A very different setting, we took our dogs and had a pleasant walk along the side of the golf course and besides the 'American style' apartments. The layout is that the rooms are not in the same building as the restaurant or pool, which is not convenient if you have to go out into the cold again after a swim but the facilities were good. Our evening meal was good and we had a pleasant drink after in comfortable relaxing chairs. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly. On the downside the room was a little sparse, cold and uninviting, the bathroom could be better, especially the 'caravan' shower!!

Great place to have a coffee or lunch and you don't have to be a GYMN member

Great for golfing and people into fitness. Not good for the disabled.

Terrible place, rooms disgusting when complained management didn t care. Huma need some serious training absolute disregard for customer service.

The MD really need to get a grip on things round there.

Awesome place , golfers paradise, somewhat eccentric in design but very comfortable rooms , food and drink overpriced . All in all a good stopover place

We attended a family wedding here recently. The location was beautiful, the food was lovely, the service was spot on. Very well organised, we were genuinely impressed with everything.

Had Xmas party here last night third year here. Great place,food and music all good. Lovely venue.

A little dated, slow service in the restaurant, plenty of parking, gym facilities are ok, golf is reasonable, swimming pool is cold and could be cleaner.

Really enjoyed our selves on the Heineken Golf day, great venue. The course is exceptionally well maintained and consistent, the greens were amazing, quick, true and would still be good value if the green fee was twice the price.

Nice and quiet place to stay overnight. Terrible food.
