A very good friend has the unfortunate of living there having new office workers, one in particular name, Jayme. Rude, impersonal and discourteous. The previous staff was much, much friendlier and very helpful, Complimentary coffee was always available with the previous staff. When I asked about it my response was, "Well, that was the last person. She's not here anymore!" What happened to them?!?
The reason why I say, "Unfortunate". My friends lease was apparently ending and was given only three days notice to Renew or give 30 days notice to relocate and pay the new rent rate which has increased by $101. Where's the Fairness?? My friend was told that under NRS 118A.300 state law requires 45 day notice of increase. My friend was not given notice until Duress forced to sign renewal.
If you want to be mistreated by un-compassionate, discourteous and unhelpful office staff. Viviani is the place.

I contacted one of Ovation's senior living communities on 3 different occasions since May, 2020. I spoke with Diana 2x's and Cynthia today, 8/19/20. These young ladies were so patient and professional! Ovation should be very proud of these young ladies. I will be honest, it's not the norm for those of this age bracket to be so polished. I was impressed. Thank you Diana and Cynthia for making my experience a pleasant one, And thank you Ovation. You have set the bar higher, in my opinion, for property management professionalism in our valley.
The management at Tuscany Apartments at 725 S Hualapai Way in Las Vegas is totally unresponsive to problems at this complex. For the past number of months I've been unable to exit my garage because of cars blocking my point of egress. Despite numerous complaints this problem has not been properly addressed. Unfortunately I had been violently ill for several days this week. When I needed to exit my garage to go to urgent care I was unable to do so as I was blocked by someone parking in front of the garage next to me and about 1/3 of the way in front of my garage. Yesterday when I needed to go to the pharmacy to get an rx the neighbor across from me parked a large SVU in front of her garage blocking me in. I called the office and they did NOTHING!!!!!! The other major problem here is that owners often do not clean up after their dogs and it apparently beneath the dignity of anyone on the staff here to do so. The amount of dog feces here is revolting and despite repeated complaints from myself and other residents no does Anything Lastly there are rats I find rat droppings on my patio where my dog likes to sun herself. Despite informing the office of this problem there is no evidence that the issue is being addressed near near me
Horrible customer service over the phone. Not sure who I spoke with but she could not give me basic information on one of their properties. Ovation holds themselves to such high standards and I am not sure why.
Their construction company is building right next to where we live. Given they have to start early to beat the heat, okay we ll deal with the noise of actual work. But these workers guys are playing music full blast at 5:15a. Very inconsiderate!
Don't work or rent from this company they are slime! They fired a faithful hard working employee because he could not come to work because his father just died! This company is what is wrong with heartless corporate greed! They care of know one but their worship of their God "Money"
Showed up to my interview fairly early.(9:45 interview was for 10:00) Was greeted by very friendly leasing staff. I went and sat in for my interview with the manager who then informed me that she was not looking to fill a assitant manager job at her property. But for another property. Told me all the great things about ovation, how well their communication is throughout the company etc. After a few questions she decided to call her boss for me meet with her. I stepped out so she can give her a call. The manager came back out to tell me that the position has been filled as well.( no where was that communicated) She went on to say they have a Leasing Consultant job available at yet ANOTHER property . This was a huge waste of my time as I had to drive quite the distance. I have Assistant Manager experience and worked my way up to that. Why even call me for a interview for a manager position just to try to get me to interview for leasing. Thats a insult!!!!! I will never apply for this company ever again. SUPER WASTE OF TIME.
Many issues with multiple properties listed online. These issues range from inaccurate square footage to units stating they come with a garage but then advised that they no longer have garages attached. I literally reached out to the property managers and no one ever follows through. I contacted the Senior VP of Ovation directly, Erica Arthur, and her excuse was below, see picture. Ovation property management has horrible customer service and their leasing associates will do anything to make there commission to the point where they force a unit onto you.
I am completely disappointed with their property and just want out of my lease but no way would I give them $2000 to break my one bedroom lease. Only thing I can say positive about is they had a good group of maintenance guys who avoid the office like the plague, good for them! I would too...
Wow, I love living at Amalfi. The property is mostly quiet and well kept.. Management/Office staff and Maintenance staff are great. I haven t had any issues. If interested I recommend to apply.
At the time of moving into the Ovation Property I am now living at. I was given the move in cost which would cover to the 1st of June when rent would be due. May 9, Leslie calls from office to say I am delinquent. I explained no I am not I paid the quoted amount at the time I signed the lease and picked up keys, if there was a discrepancy in the amount of money, Diana should have said something at that time. Leslie said we just noticed it and your name is on the list, the error was Ovations, and would like the money NOW!
So drive to bank Branch and get a cashiers check, bring back to apartment complex and gave to Leslie and requested a receipt.
This is the first time since becoming a renter either in a Apartment Complex or through an individual landlord that was not spot on when it came to the move in amount. None ever came back asking for more money after tenant had moved in.
I related this information to Leslie that this management is a first for making an error and wanting tenant pay the error.
This episode has left a bad taste in the mouth on how this Office works for the tenant's here. This is a brand new property.
Upon speaking with Leslie more than once as a representative for the office of this complex, either I set her off or she is just rude, but always is disrespectful towards me. Maybe, in the future the office has anything to call me about have someone else call me.
I've lived at SUMMERWINDS for 3 going on 4 years.Every year there is an increase in rent but no upgrades. I can't even get the carpet cleaned without front office excuses.
God bless the maintenance men,they do the best they can and always pleasant.
Management change's everytime you turn around and the office staff has not been the same since I moved in. Kathy was so genuine I wanted to live here. Front office ATTITUDES are unacceptable,disrespectful,and unconcerning.
I will be moving in the coming year and I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE unless coparate starts to look into the people they leave in charge. The location is so convenient, but this place is going down because of lack of sincere communication,genuine concern for the residents and personality when dealing with people who pay handsomely to live here.
OMG you got to rent from Ovation Apartments in Las Vegas I recently visited their new apartments Aspire on Flamingo and is a remarkable spotless the beautiful amenities are just so inviting and their pool and patio are just so peaceful the management is spot on they have a fancy elevator I will love to move but I am at Medera Apartments on Town Center Drive and I just love it here i love how everybody is so attentative for details and so caring the neighbors the staff even the mail person is friendly I have been here off and on since 2007-2010 and now for almost a year I don't want to go but if I do it will be to another of their remarkable spotless and management spot on sites this place is exactly what my doctor order OMG I love it
Never rent from these people! I made the mistake of leasing at the Madera property and it is a nightmare. Rules are arbitrary, overbearing, and changed without notice to suit management. The managers themselves are extremely rude, the units are overpriced with poor construction and outdated appliances. Just don't do it.
We live at Summer Winds Apartments. We moved from a 1 bedroom to a two bedroom. While in the process we put down 500.00 for an apartment. We had not signed a lease or any paperwork. I had went on line 4 days before we were to sign the lease and the prices dropped 200.00 then what we were told we would have to pay the original higher price. When we went into the office I showed here the lowered rent prices for the exact same 2 bedroom we were getting. We had already been set to move. She said we could not have the lower price because we agreed to the higher price. We told her (apartment manager or worker) that we do not want to pay more than everyone else. We had not signed a lease or made any agreement on paper. She said we had to pay the price we were quoted. It would have been better if we were strangers coming in to look at an apt that day. Being that we had no other options since it was moving day and all our items were ready along with the movers and truck we had to pay the higher price. As I sat in the office and heard people call about our apartment and being quoted for 200.00 dollars less. Do not move in here. They will scam you any way they can to take your money. Now they are saying our old apartment carpet is some crazy outrageous cost. It s a 1 bedroom (come on). Not to mention when we payed another 50.00 dollars for our garage it had someone else s items in it. The office people here will screw you over. If you want to find out for yourselves move here and you will see.
This review is to serve as a thank you to Ovation Properties, brought about by the staff first, the facility second, and finally the accommodations (which keep popping up like Easter eggs and making me wonder at the place I've alit!)
Carla. Thank you!! You truly did not have to go to such lengths to help me find an apartment - but you did. And not just an apartment but a home! It took you days hunting and calling and coordinating for me to see the countless Ovation properties but you found one that is perfect! My concerns of safety, pricerange, garage and parking, privacy, lease, and of course area became the only things you would accept. And I was just walking in having seen your property in passing! No appointment, not even a call ahead. And the staff out here is so great!! Jannette, Eliza, David, Cierra and the maintenance crew are on point with everything! It's so beyond fantastic!! I love it!! Two pools, a fitness room, community gatherings, mail service (to include Amazon clusters! How great is that??). I'm smiling. So hard it hurts!! Thank you, Ovation Properties and the hearts that keep you pumping - I'm happy to be home in Las Vegas. Margaret
Please do not ever try and rent from these people. They do not care about unforeseen circumstances. We could not move into our apartment due to my mother medical emergency and with the problem she had she can not stay by herself. With me being her oldest and only child that stays in California I had to make the decision to take care of my mother over moving to Las Vegas.
Make sure you look at the reviews of all the places you are thinking about moving to. We made a mistake with not looking at the place for ourselves (Firenze-we looked at via internet) and not looking at the reviews or a criminal report (it s right across the street from a weekly motel).
Your property managers treat residents like something you scrape off the bottom of your shoe. You are cold hearted & only care about money. I'm amazed at how low you go. Kudos to all.
DO NOT MOVE TO ACAPELLA SENIOR APARTMENTS!!!! I LIVED THERE FOR 6 YEARS AND KEPT MY APARTMENT IMMACULATE. I HAD TO MOVE OUT FOR MEDICAL REASONS. WHEN IT CAME TIME TO GET MY SECURITY DEPOSIT PLUS DOOR KEY CARD DEPOSITS WHICH ADDED UP TO $565, THEY TOLD ME I WOULD BE RECEIVING ONLY $112 BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY HAD TO DYE THE BEDROOM CARPET. I HAD NEVER BROUGHT FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE BEDROOM AND TOLD THEM THAT AFTER 6 YEARS, THE CARPET HAD NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR BUT THEY WOULD NOT LISTEN. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO DYE A CARPET???? SURLY NOT $463 WICH IS WHAT THEY CHARGED ME. THEY WOULDN'T EVEN WASH THE OUTSIDE WINDOWS IN ALL THE 6 YEARS I LIVED THERE, AND I LIVED ON THE 3RD. FLOOR SO I COULDN'T DO IT MYSELF.
Have had numerous things break in my unit on a monthly basis. I pay more for a "view" of the mountains and really it is a view of a construction site complete with loud noises. Some staff are incredibly rude while others are very nice- none in the middle. Have called corporate at least 5 times to discuss my issues and can not get a call back. I do not recommend these properties, there are plenty of other options.
Rented one of their units for 14 months. Never late, quiet, no issues at all. 2 months before lease ends, they want notice if we are renewing lease or not. We had something lined up, but it fell through so literally a few days later i told them we werent moving after all. They told me not only did they rent out my unit right away, but that they dont have another available unit like mine in this complex of hundreds of units so we are just SOL right before Xmas. Found a new place, but still had 12 days on lease left in December and pleaded to get out of lease a few days early. Erica Arthur, the company VP told us that even though the new tenants are eager to move in, she is not only going to work with us and give us a few days to help ease this nightmare situation we are in, but refused to even look for an alternative. These people are horrible, rude and very unsympathetic to a young family getting put out of their place right before the holidays for the crime of doing the right thing and trying to give notice.
Ovation Complex's are good to live IF you have a gun or brave dogs. I am living at Viviani now, and there is no any security. No security person, no gate code(it always open to every body) and no security camera. About 2 months ago my license plate was stolen but there was not any any camera in the complex, i told them and said: WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CAR, YOU CAN CALL THE POLICE. Then after 1 month, on 30 June, we were eating lunch with my family in pool area, and some strangers from outside of complex came inside our property and 2 wilds lady attacked to my sister in law and my wife that she has disability, because a simple argument. They punch their faces and heads like a killer. So, we called the police and police came and asked to check the pool's camera, but the office member said we do not have access to the cameras. So, police officer told them please call us when it is ready. After 3 weeks, the Police is still waiting for the office's calling!!!! Today, the manager told me the camera did not record anything. I was shocked that it is not impossible. I went to the Ovation's manager, she did not have any answer for me about camera and said: WE DO NOT GUARANTEE YOUR SECURITY :-) :-) and she told me GET OUT OF MY OFFICE! Their customer service is like their security. I want to say thank you Ovation that you protected us, and i know you deleted that camera records because you knew it was your fault. You wanted to cover the truth. It is OK, but it is not LOYALTY and not HUMANITY. I just wanted to share my story to my neighbors and new clients that be careful, just watch your family and take care of them. SORRY FOR OVATION AND THE PRESIDENT MANAGER.
Whatever you do, do not rent from this company. I live at the Firenze apartments on Boulder Highway and Russell. The office staff is rude every time that you call up there or go into the office for something. The maintenance men are nosy and my wife and I have had one literally leaning over the wall of our balcony to peer into our apartment. The maintenance men themselves leave huge hot water heaters in the middle of the street near the dumpsters for the trash men who won't take them. Also, the "new" carpet that is put in when you lease the apartment, isn't all that new because the company that they hire lays the "new" carpet out across the sidewalk and asphalt in the middle of the parking spaces before putting it into the apartment so that by the time it gets put in, its covered in dirt and germs. And now for the past two weeks one of the large metal trash dumpsters has been left outside of the coral and is in the middle of the street and the maintenance men drive right past it every single day and I have seen them look at it, point at it and keep going right on by it and in fact this past weekend I saw the property manager drive past it on a golf cart, stop, look at it and then keep right on going and it is STILL out. Yesterday I called the office and spoke to Sasha and informed her of this and she was very rude, but said that it would be taken care of. Yet, still this morning it is outside. Also, the apartment itself is horrible. The garage is barely big enough to park your car in, the blinds are constantly twisting and turning out of place so that you have to fix them, I can't even tell you how many light bulbs we have to change, the seal around the tub has completely cracked, the garbage disposal has never worked (even after the maintenance men "fixed it"), and the port in the wall for cable in the living room was put into a wall that is about a foot wide, right next to the sliding glass door where you could not possibly put a tv, and the shelving within the kitchen is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. When my lease is up, I will not be renewing, this is THE WORST experience we have ever had in an apartment.
Renter beware....... Believe me i was taken back by the beauty of the property at first and blind to the reality that i faced. I lived in the apartments for a little over three years and can tell you that there is nothing about it that makes it worth the money you spend. If you ever have a complaint about the property they will tell you that your rent goes to your apartment alone. Really i was paying over $1200 a month for a 1200 square foot apartment with no closet space and old carpet? No i was paying for the beautify pool and fireplace and grill etc. Well in our apartment the pool was never heated so don't believe the lies that they tell about that one. If you look at one that has a fire place, ask them to turn it on, ours didn't work, it was as though i had been lied to. And the grill, there was a point where that as well as the hot tub needed "a part" well those parts took two months and the pool area was closed the entire time.
I have a laundry list of things that i can add but trust me, it is not worth it. If you want more details you can read the review i posted under the Venicia. (one of the ovation properties) You may think, wait maybe it was only that property. No the managers and staff from Ovation were just as bad and when you tried to talk to them about all of the problems they treat you like just a number and push you aside because they feel they will get someone else.
Remember those balloons and signs that lured you in will do the same to others. (once you live there you will feel like those same balloons make the property appear so cheap) Hopefully there tricks will become clear to more of you out there and you won't be fooled by the mirage they display.
Why did i stay you may ask? because i was lazy and didn't want to go through another move, well that laziness cost me thousands of dollars and i completely regret it now. So please i ask you to be completely sure that you are willing to pay the price and suffer the consequences.
I am writing this to try to save you from making the same mistakes i did.
Ovation does not even deserve one star . They are the worst property management starting from the very top down . I would avoid any property with ovation or anyone associated with ovation property . What a joke of employees.
My husband worked here I will drop my husband off everyday and pick him up on time the women in the office knew he was a married man one day I was 5 minutes late and the manager Shayla try to offer my husband a ride home again this is a married manI was very offended by that I feel like the company needs to have some kind of boundaries when it comes to situations like this that's how a lot of infidelity takes place we don't know where she lives she don't need to know where we live she was just too extra for me which made me question what the f*** is going on she will come out and get my husband 15 minutes before he have the clock in will be sitting in the car talking and she'll come and pull him in the office just to sniff him and say that he smells like marijuana when no one in my home smokes we have kids my husband told her that she can drug test him anytime I did not like that my husband went to work everyday on time and did his job I just wasn't feeling her approach I feel like you're a manager these are your employees do your job you don't have to do extras and respect people's boundaries when you're dealing with a married couple I just don't find it to be professional now had I got there and my husband wasn't there because he was in the car with you that wouldn't have looked too good I'm sure all the married woman would agree and by the way my husband did decline the ride and he also agreed with me that there was just something not right about her and her behavior when it came to him.
