Well, I'm very disappointed. All I can really say is that "Outback Marine Australia" must be a very wealthy firm. I have rung their Arundel Office on two occasions and spoken with a real person, Keith, explaining I wish to purchase an autopilot valued at well over $1000. On both occasions Keith has informed me that the "Boss" will get back to me. However he did say that the boss could be busy sailing his boat but none the less Keith assured me he would contact me at some stage. Silly me, I actually believed him. Beware of these guys they have items on the website they no longer carry but will be happily take your money then send you some inferior brand at the top end price. Chris said he would send a post paid satchel to get the item returned but never arrived, I ended up sending it back at my cost! Took 3 weeks to get a refund after calling at least 10 times.. Rubbish customer service! Worst I've ever come across!

Have not had chance to install as yet but equipment looks to be well made, comes with good manual and setup instructions. Delivery was good and no damage, packaging was ideal.
After reading these previous reviews I am truly shocked as the Outback Marine I have dealt with does not reflect what has been said. I have a feeling it may of been written by the competition, trying to ruin Outback Marine's business. I have had multiple experiences now with Outback Marine, and every time they have been fantastic. They have been great over the internet, the phone, in person, and even been great on chasing up warranty claims. I have purchased from other vendors in the same space, and can say I have had some terrible experiences, after you purchase an item they want nothing further to do with you, especially when something goes wrong. Outback Marine was a breath of fresh air and I will continue to buy from them.
Our experience dealing with Outback Marine in the conversion of our Motorhome to lithium pff grid power has been very positive. Great products, good support, competitive prices and excellent technical advice. Gary and Jack have always been extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Outback Marine as a premium supplier. I am currently having my off-road caravan converted to lithium power following the quality of service and support received with the motorhome conversion.
Purchased the Victron MPPT 75/15 SmartSolar charge controller, very happy with the product. Required a firmware update, all done through the app once the correct Bluetooth pin was entered. Also happy with the packaging, wrapped in bubble wrap, nice work.
On December 15 I ordered $3500 worth of marine batteries that were marked as "in stock" and needed by December 25 for a boat trip. A week later after hearing nothing - no email, no text message, nothing - I called up and were told that yes, they were on their way but was given no delivery date, no tracking number, nothing. On January 4 - long after my now cancelled boat trip - the delivery truck showed up at my house without any notification. Needless to say I will not be buying anything from Outback Marine again.
supply chain is efficient trough e-mails following the sending. Website is perfect. Product description well done. Pricing correct. An improvment should be done by a delivery time acknowledgement before the payment. In order to plan your own job, it s always better to know the exact delivery date.

WARNING! I placed an order on a wednesday for close to $1000, paid extra for express TNT shipping.. Called to confirm payment has gone through, said 'Yep - we are good to go'.. Call on Friday morning.. 'cant find your order... ohh.. issue with payment gateway, we didnt have your mobile number' (NOT TRUE) They had all my details - Absolutely poor service. I WILL NOT USE AGAIN - If you need something quickly perhaps look for another option Now im high and dry with no product which i needed quickly. Hence all of my efforts for follow up.

What fantastic people to deal with. Ordered and paid for the Enerdrive DC 2 DC charger online, immediate response saying the unit was posted and a tracking number provided. Further emails advising progress etc then even an email saying it had been delivered. Aust Post was spot on delivered from Qld to Tas in just 7 days even over a long weekend period. I recently purchased an Enerdrive DC2DC dual input charger. I am very happy with the product and excellent service including delivery time. The price was also excellent. I will definitely recommend them and use them again myself.
