I've been going to Joni for about 3 years now- I've gone to Mona way back for highlights and she did an awesome natural looking job. I moved to Columbus but still book appointments with Joni every time I'm home because she is the best I've ever been to. She's a master at bleaching, and coloring- I had the most beautiful blonde hair ever (thanks to Joni!), but I recently went for the ombre and she nailed it, couldn't have asked for a better job! I know with whatever style I want to try, she'll be able to execute it better than anyone in the Syracuse area. The owners always remember me when I come in, it makes me really happy I never switched to a new salon where I just moved to.

The staff was courteous and proffesional. I was pleased with my updo and my make up was beautiful. Most of all they were extremely accommodating to all of the members of my party.
Service was exceptional. Staff friendly. My stylist , Angie, was a dream! I have changed from my former salon to this particular one.
I've had three cuts here in the past year. First one was right after my mom unexpectedly died and the hair dresser was so understanding and compassionate to my situation.... she even made me hot cocoa and gave me a biscotti. Beyond their great customer service, which makes me feel valued, I always learn something of value about hair, products, and irons. My hair was snapping and dying from using the wrong product, the hair stylist did a strengthening treatment and suggested new shampoo/conditioning routine that i decided to buy... which three months after has SAVED my hair and it's completely rejuvenated. So, I'm clearly pleased. Three different stylists and I felt just as valued, and got a great cut and style, with each one! Great consistency.
"Been a customer for many years. Service is always excellent, and booking an appointment within a day or two is very convenient.
We were a regular customer for years, but they have gone down-hill quick. Last week my girlfriend went there to get a color and a haircut. She is usually charged $105.00 for the two items. However, this time, the stylist screwed up her hair and kept apologizing and apologizing, and then had the nerve to charge $155.00! I called the manager to complain and she offered to fix the errors and to issue a $15.00 refund. I told the manager we were overcharged by $50.00 but the manager said we were only overcharged by $15.00. I didn t care at this point, so my girlfriend went back and got the mistakes fixed. Afterwards my girlfriend asked about the refund of the $15.00 and was told by the same manager that "They don t give refunds!" I always felt that they are very snooty and uptight when you walk in, I just don t believe they understand how to take care of their customers. We will not be using them again.
Went to the salon for the first time. Chelsea did my hair. Cut, color, low lights and blow dry. She did an amazing job! Really nice salon and good prices. Everyone was so friendly. Will definitely be going back!!
I wanted my haircut shorter but she disagreed and made my hair worse.
Every time I have resorted to coming here for my hair I have regretted it so much. They are stealing from people in my opinion. If you don't know how to do hair? Don't do it.
I got a haircut and eyelash extensions here. The haircut was fine. The girl took her time blow drying it out, but that was fine. The eyelash extensions were terrible. I woke up the next morning and the majority of the lash extensions on one eye had fallen off in the night. The lash extensions were glued in the middle of the lash, not on the end, so they flipped around and eventually just fell off. I don't understand why they did not stay on for more than one day after I paid 60$ for them. I would not go back.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK AS THEY SOLD MY PERSONAL INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE RECEIVED TOO!! THEY DON'T CARE ONE IOTA ABOUT THE CONDITION OF YOUR HAIR (IF IT'S IN BAD SHAPE AND YOU BRING THAT TO THEIR ATTENTION) THEY JUST TELL YOU THAT YOU'RE LYING AND THAT PROCEEDING WITH THE DAMAGING SERVICE IS PERFECTLY FINE!! I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU DESIRE TO HAVE NO HAIR ON YOUR HEAD LIKE I HAVE DUE TO THEIR "SERVICE"!! THEY ALSO LIED AND SAID THAT THEY WERE GOING TO GIVE ME A BAG AND WHEN I ASKED THEY SAID "I'LL LOOK IN THE BACK" OR "NEXT TIME YOU COME BACK YOU CAN HAVE IT" WHAT KIND OF GARBAGE RESPONSES ARE THOSE!!! SHADY, SHADY, SHADE!!
My sister received salon services; a simple trim of her back (shoulder length hair) and highlights on the crown of her head. This service plus a shampoo and a blow out/flat iron for $150!!!!! Ridiculous! Ridiculous! Ridiculous! I do not recommend! Joseph Anthony is NOT a high end salon and charge way more than they should! Wish I could give it no stars! I have asked for a callback in regards to my experience and have received nothing! In addition the stylist looked in my mother's folder as she use to be a client and used that to compare services????!!! Who even does that. And explains to my sister the reason for the price difference due to the hair type, services etc....completely unacceptable. Compared to at least 5 different stylists/salons I have reached out to the cost for this type of service was overpriced. I was even told "They really screwed you in price....partial highlight, wash, dry, flat-iron??.....$150.00..." With that said I have spread the word to over 20 people of this and I feel with no callback from management or stylist is poor customer service. I will continue to share my story
