My husband and I found this place on our last visit to Dunedin and made sure that we returned there on this visit. Their extensive menu is full of wonderful dishes to please everybody. The portion sizes are huge and the prices are very reasonable. And they have great desserts.
New review: We sat outside with our dog, had great service and delicious food. Thank you David for your service and for recommending the turkey dinner, it was just what I wanted. And my wife's stuffed pepper was big and yummy!
Previous review: My wife had the meatloaf dinner and I had the all you could eat fish. The food was as excellent as always. The service was not as good as usual. Their female servers are always wonderful but unfortunately we got a guy server who clearly is not cut out for the drive industry. He never once asked how our meals were, and in spite of being reminded twice that my wife's roll had not yet been provided, he never did bring it. And he never said anything about our empty glasses of water, so I had to stop him while he was attending to others. And when I did he brought me a glass of water but left my wife's empty one sit there. We'll be back because this is the only problem we've ever had and we love Our Place Dunedin, but we will request a different server if we get stuck with him.

This would have been 5 stars if it hadn't been a bad start to the night. After arriving for dinner and waiting to be seated, in a nutshell, it sickens me to say we were ignored. We were then told which table to sit at by a point of the finger..... No menus or greeting., nothing!!!!!! Eventually we were asked if we had menus, and who we were seated by... (ourselves). Menus given, apologies accepted, meals and drinks ordered, all was well. We were told that the person who ignored and then pointed to the table, was actually the assistant manager.... There was at least one other diner that was left longer than we were, and was even more disgruntled than I was. Putting all that aside, the food and our new server Brenda was brilliant, I have no issues with the food at all, hot, fresh and tasty, great. We will be back, I just hope that not too much damage has been done to a great business by an unhappy employee.
Food is always good. Always seems busy but not a long wait. David is an excellent server. Always going above and beyond to make sure customers are treated well.
A busy place, but we didn't wait long at all .The menu offers alot of food options. The waitstaff are On it, very accommodating. The food is delicious. I like my strawberry crepes.
My husband and I love this place. We have gone in Sundays. We sit outside on their patio and listen to the live music while enjoying breakfast at lunchtime. The food is always fresh, hot and served quickly. I would highly recommend. Only negative is that it faces a busy road.
Love it love it love it. I eat there too much! Owners are great managers are great waiters and waitresses are great. Lots of personality. Most importantly, the food is great. It's great.
I've been there twice (from out of town) and have greatly enjoyed each visit. The first time I had a chocolate waffle with strawberries (YUM!!) and tonight I got the chicken fried steak that was also very good.
Our server David was fantastic. He was attentive without being annoying and dealt with some of our high maintenance requests with ease. It was a great visit.
I dined here for the first time, this morning for breakfast with family and friends. I ordered the Fried Egg Breakfast Sandwich on Sourdough Bread with Grits. All food items were good and our waiter Zeke was attentive and informative. Cozy restaurant, also offers outside dining! Definitely will return!
