The folks at Oshkosh Tent and Awning are personable and take genuine interest in providing high quality service and end product results. They did a fantastic job recovering our boat sun deck and went above and beyond to even correct an original manufacturer covering error. A job well done!

Our boat cover blew off in a storm and I took the cover in to have some repairs made. They fixed and re-enforced snaps and replaced the straps on the back. Great to work with and very quick, only took a week.

I purchased a 16 foot awning which was installed last year in October. I liked it right away but didn't use it much due to the late season. I can't say enough for the owner, and the ones who installed it. They have been so pleasant answering our questions and paying attention to detail. What I love most about the awning is it is NOT installed on the roof! It looks wonderful and with a motor it is so easy to put it out at any length.
The people who installed it were punctual, clean, neat, and very efficient. The owner said if there were any problems or questions to give them a call.
I would recommend OTA Company in a heart beat to anyone who is thinking of using an awning to get out of the sun! Top notch company with years of experience!

The original zippers on my old screen house were toast but the rest of it was fine. Before running out and buying a new one of questionable quality, I contacted OTA about replacing the zippers. They were able to do it in a week with better zippers than the original ones for much less than the cost of a decent new screen house. So glad that I thought of checking with OTA first!

OTA has provided excellent sail repair for many ye...

OTA has provided excellent sail repair for many years after hiring a local sail maker. With this in mind, I asked for a quote on a flat, semi custom cover for my 19 x 7 foot sail boat. Comparable web prices are $500 to $700. I sent them the request plans and pictures. Imagine my surprise when I received a quote for over $4,500.

Practical Sailor suggested a mast up reusable winter cover for a 30 foot boat might have cost $1,800 in 2018.

I wonder what OTA was thinking?

OTA offered to discuss my review. It turns out their sailmaker retired and they are trying new employees who would have been assigned to make the boat cover. The new employees would have to learn OJT how to make a pattern from the detailed official scaled deck plan I provided. OTA stated this is a reason for the high labor cost on my project. The OTA rep, apparently ignorant of the out of stock status or 6 week backings if competitors, speculated higher volume sellers could simply sell covers from inventory.

In addition the code OTA rep. was skeptical of the quality of fabric used by one of three highest volume custom flying scot cover makers.

The OTA rep also stated that many potential customers decide not to buy because of OTA s high prices.

I am not surprised.

We had a great experience with oshkosh tent and awning. We are very pleased with our awning. The installation crew was fantastic and did a great job. The only thing I can say that I wish there was more information about there products out there on line to look at. There was no pricing either. You have a great product you should show it off more. Also let people know about your accessories that you have for them a head of time not after they are installed. Just a thought.
