Watched Holiday Inn. I will cut it short, they BARELY sang the best songs and focused on unknown songs instead so don't expect to hear the songs we want to hear much. White Christmas and Happy Holidays were BARELY touched in this show for whatever purpose, the show did "not milk it" which is what people paid this show for.

Parking NIGHTMARE !!!

Will never come here again

The show was not fun to watch because everyone was just worried about how they were going to leave the premise with their cars parked CRAZY all over outside

I went to buy a $100 gift card. She said my bank card was declined and maybe the amount was too high. I was confused. Gave her a different card. It became clear when she handed me a receipt for a $400 purchase. Yikes. She immediately issued a $300 refund. Here's the kicker. The charge went through right away but not the credit. Waiting on that.

I blame it on these damn masks!

The first show of the season was bad. We left at the intermission along with many others. Tickets are not inexpensive and after being closed for a long time due to COVID-19, they should have put on a much better show.

I have seen about 6 or 7 shows over the last decade. Phenomenal local alternative to Broadway. The sets are always intricate and amazing feats of engineering (my favorite was 'meet me in ST Louie'. The acting and singing is always very good.

The atmosphere and venue is welcoming, the great fireplace blazes in the cold winter months. I highly recommend a visit.

This was my first time going to the Paper Mill Play house. The size of the auditorium was large yet still intimate. I sat in the very last row up in the nosebleed seating but was still able to see the actors clearly without feeling the need for binoculars.

However, parking is a complete nightmare!! I had to park a few streets away in the residential area since there does not seem to be enough parking spots for popular shows. This actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise since I saw some cars triple parked in the parking lot and it was pure chaos when the show ended and everyone was trying to leave. Since I parked far from the massing crowd, leaving was relatively less stressful.

Paper Mill Playhouse: Where New American Musical Theater Comes to Life

If you're a fan of musical theater, then you've probably heard of Paper Mill Playhouse. Located in Millburn, New Jersey, this regional theater has been bringing new American musicals to life for over 80 years. In fact, it's one of the few theaters in the country that exclusively produces new works and revivals of classic shows.

Founded in 1934 by Antoinette Scudder and Frank Carrington, Paper Mill Playhouse started out as a small community theater group. Over the years, it grew into one of the most respected regional theaters in the country. Today, it's known for its high-quality productions and commitment to developing new talent.

One thing that sets Paper Mill Playhouse apart from other theaters is its dedication to producing new works. Every year, it hosts a New Works Festival where playwrights can showcase their latest creations. The festival has helped launch the careers of many up-and-coming writers and composers.

In addition to producing new works, Paper Mill Playhouse also stages revivals of classic shows. Some recent productions include "West Side Story," "The Color Purple," and "A Chorus Line." These shows are often updated with modern staging techniques and fresh interpretations.

Another reason why Paper Mill Playhouse is so beloved by audiences is its commitment to diversity and inclusion. The theater actively seeks out stories from underrepresented communities and casts actors from diverse backgrounds. This has led to some truly groundbreaking productions that have challenged traditional notions of what musical theater can be.

Of course, none of this would be possible without a talented team behind the scenes. From directors to designers to stage managers, everyone at Paper Mill Playhouse is dedicated to creating unforgettable theatrical experiences for audiences young and old.
