Nice place to enjoy a steak and a good glass of wine

Good, but today we have waited really long. However the quality is there.

Family atmosphere, clean and well kept room. Menu not very rich but every dish is excellent ..... pasta and condiments made in "home". Fully stocked cellar. Definitely try it !!!!!

Let's try the place at the suggestion of our hotelier, a B&B in the area.
At first glance the environment is not the most welcoming but the staff and the air of the house you breathe invites you to sit with a smile. Excellent some details (ceiling dresser tables) bad others (old aluminum doors pre-tile entrance).
As for the really special food! Typical cuisine of the homely and quality place, smell of wood and embers in the bacon, very tender and tasty tripe.

Found by chance traveling to Arezzo, this tavern must be the grandmother's kitchen ... combined with the welcome and liveliness of the grandchildren! I tasted lush appetizers with an excellent assortment of cold cuts and an original selection of cheeses, including unique goats. And I discovered the peposo, masterfully cooked and served with porcini mushrooms! A ricotta cream with dark chocolate perfectly closed my experience at Giovanna, slowed down by an excellent Syrah from the La Braccesca estate, an experience to be repeated absolutely, and in the meantime to be recommended. Excellent home style trattoria just on the outskirts of Arezzo. Fantastic service, good wine list and unique menu. Well priced and delicious home made food. Definitly a must go.
