Osteria da Giovanna. What to say. You will hardly find Arezzo / Tuscany cuisine with a mile price / quality / friendliness ratio.

The restaurant represents a beautiful experience of 'true Tuscan cuisine of the past', in the countryside but in the immediacy of the city. Mom and grandmother in the kitchen and pulling the pasta; excellent roasts, embers and stews, with 'ancient' flavors, familiar only to those who were born in Arezzo and have white hair by now.
Very important winery (the son / grandson is an internationally renowned sommelier), far superior to that of any other restaurant of this type

We ate great, chicken crostini, ricotta ravioli and spinach with butter and sage sauce (his recommendation), grilled bacon and pork belly with mushrooms. The staff very friendly and close. They knew Spanish. Very cozy place. Site to consider

I was expecting much more, the first courses nothing special, the wine list excellent, second courses good (1 cod and 1 peposo), excellent desserts. Fair account.

By Giovanna, classic Arezzo cuisine is a must! Like the steaks, far from the new trends of marbling and cooking, but the old fireplace with embers has always been its characterization.
Good ragouts and traditional sauces, griffins, tripe are the expression mass of the territory.

a few km from Arezzo you will find this tavern where the quality of the food is the master! unmissable appetizers with quality meats and cheeses accompanied by excellent quality compotes. The peposa (a sort of braised meat) and the bone hole are spectacular. perfect wine list. I recommend the achelo of the La Braccrsca estate. Tasty desserts and courteous and helpful staff

Typical cuisine, friendly and helpful service, fantastic food. Absolutely one of the best inns in the entire province. Meat and wine of the highest quality and honest account, definitely right for the quantity and quality of food and service offered.

Excellent tavern where you can eat Tuscan cuisine prepared as tradition dictates. Simple but very welcoming and well cared for. The prices are fair considering the high quality of the products. We tasted the pappa al pomodoro and delicious handmade ravioli. Very tender and very fragrant peposo from Arezzo, excellent grilled Tuscan rigatino. Cake with chestnut flour and sbrisolona with ricotta and sublime chocolate. The wine list is immense and in addition to local wines you can choose from various excellent labels, including foreign ones.
Certainly it is a crime not to have been able to taste a beautiful Florentine steak cooked strictly on the grill but it will be for next time.

Been here after maybe 9 years. I brought a friend of mine from Los Angeles and another one from Rome. As I remembered, you get first class service and firts class food
Personnel was always nice, helping, fast and also speaking English
We had a Tartare of chianina, a tagliata with porcini (chosen personally) and ossobuco with porcini. We also ordered truffle egg for my US friend who never had truffle before
Simply amazing. Next time I'll be back in Italy this will be a necessary to-go-dinner

Family atmosphere, excellent ravioli with butter and sage, field vegetables with exceptional fava beans and finally even the bitterness was "Lucano".

Nice, decentralized but easy to reach place, good choice of wines, typical Tuscan / Arezzo menu, very attentive in service (rustic as the environment but precise and friendly) excellent value for money.

Here you will find the traditional dishes of Arezzo and Tuscany, the real one, cooked with true passion and fidelity to tradition. Excellent service, waiting times, the informal and welcoming environment, the cellar is superb. Few restaurants in Arezzo that never make me regret not having put myself in the kitchen, counting the fingers of one hand, one is this. The certainty of a pleasant moment at the table, always.
