Upheld Unconstitutional policies when I provided p...

Upheld Unconstitutional policies when I provided proof that such policies violate everyone's, including their family's and their own, Constitution and Fundamental Human Rights. Cut me off when I was talking, ignored my proof of their Oath to defend peoples' Rights, told me they were going to leave and drove off.

Ignored warnings two days earlier that our Rights would be violated. When I followed through on my Responsibility as a citizen, treated me (an educator who values honor and respect) like a criminal. Continue to let our Rights be violated and continue to "be unaware of" and/or "ignore" their Oath!

Those of you who ignore, or worse yet don't see, their clear violation of their Oath to protect us all prove that hegemony theory is in fact no theory at all, but a fact! Need to be held accountable to their Oath!

I really appreciate getting a ticket for being parked in front of my own business. Also ticketing my customers. There's two hour parking on W 12th Ave between 8am and 6pm. We got our tickets at 4:45am. Their tickets were for "being in the way of plows" but there was no snow, no chance of snow, and it was too warm to snow to begin with. So I appreciate you stealing money from me and ensuring those customers don't come back.

Called the non emergency number to have a police officer stop at my house. 2 hours later, still no officer and the person who was parked in front of my driveway blocking it with his entire vehicle is now gone. What a joke. Good thing it wasn't an emergency.

I've always had good experiences with OPD. Today, not so much. Been a broken down truck in front of my apt building for a week. Smelled gasoline coming from it so called it in. Cop asks me what I want him to do. Says he know the people & their phone isn't working. So issue a ticket! He says he'll have the night guys do it. Later, in a store parking lot, there is a cat running around. The "owners" show up and try for sometime to catch the cat. Finally do. 5 mins later they put the cat back outside. What? Called OPD. Don't know if the cat is being abandoned or what. Waited an hour, no OPD. Really lame OPD, really lame.

Honestly, the police in Oshkosh are pretty cool compared to some of the other cities I've been in. Chances are, if they're stopping you, you're either breaking a law or you're acting REALLY weird. Every officer I've talked to is understanding and patient, as well. I mean, sure, the many parking tickets are kind of absurd. But that's the law, I guess... They just enforce it. I've learned the system, and haven't been ticketed in a year or so.

Very useless, I don't even feel safe when I used to live with my dad's place. I called 911, they arrived. I told them what happened and that my older brother lay his hands on me first. And they just gave me a warning and my brother too. My older brother is 5'7 or 5'8, while I'm 4'11 or 5ft. I was balling my eyes in tears and the cops were useless, if I didnt fight back.. I could've been killed and this would've been a different story. I'm disappointed in cops. Very useless. I don't feel safe at all.

On 7-16-2018 my dad and our dog were victims of a dog attack resulting in dad receiving multiple contusions and a broken arm.

We filed a complaint on 7-17-2018 and CSO Caraballo took a report.

On 7-19-2018 My mom and I came in to OPD to write a request for the police report. We were told it would be mailed in a week to 10days.

It is now 8-21-2018 and we have been to OPD FOUR times to get answers on where the police report is. I had to file another request for the report as OPD can't seem to find the report.

My dads insurance company wants a copy of this report so they can bill the dog's owner for dad's medical expenses.

We would like a copy so that we may pursue this legally with our attorney.

What do we have to do to get the police report? How long must we wait before it is mailed to us?

How is anyone supposed to file charges or take someone to court if they don't have the police report?

We have an amazing Police Dept. Always very professional and great to deal with. I love the slogan, "know us before you need us" because I feel it's important that kids grow up knowing that police aren't the bad guys! They are the peace keepers, risking their lives to keep us safe. I personally think they are all worth their weight in gold! Thank you!

Officer Grant Wilson and others believe it is okay...

Officer Grant Wilson and others believe it is okay to follow you into your own home without a warrant, because they felt it was in good faith I say it s unconstitutional as well as a dangerous game. Does a badge suddenly allow you to do whatever the heck you want? Is that how we want our officers to behave? Imagine, sitting in your own home (an expected place of privacy) and somebody comes barging into your home unexpected, uninvited, and unannounced.... It s scary to think that Officer Wilson actually has the upper hand on a case that s so cut and dry. The fact is police continue ignoring our rights and not abiding by the United States Constitution, this is not a good thing but it does not have to be like this. Fight back! If your incident let it be heard! Its very hard to win when police officers are not held accountable for not wearing body cameras. Why are they choosing when to turn them on and off? Officer Bittner @OPD (supervisor) I don t need a body camera, because my word is good

I ll end it with that.

Called in to the department with a question about my parking ticket. (Parked right next to my brothers house, and was told by the man that helped sell the house that we owned up to half the road and that's why we would have to help pay anything that goes on with it/also the grass) I was rushed by the lady who answered was treated rudely and ultimately she was just a prick and tried moving me along when I told her that the reason I partially got the ticket was a new policy that I'd never heard of. Again she was rude and ended up hanging up on me. Apperantly I parked on the odd side of the road (next to my brothers house since we apperantly *owned* half the road) not only that, I found out that theirs nothing going on on these roads at the time I received the ticket. Litterally *off limits* just so the police can get a little more money in their pockets. Just like most places their becoming to money craving useless bastards wanna protect me at the price of not letting me park.
