ORYX HOTEL KHALIDYA ABU DHABI by ADNHC Review

Nice location which is walking distance to Cornich. With a Health Club and Spa.

Average hotel. Not too much to fancy. Lots of outdoor cafeterias. Hotel is located within a residential area and close to it is a play ground for kids.

The standards have to improve to be even called acceptable for a 4 star?? , as compared to hotels I stayed in many parts of the world and their service level.
I have given 3 stars exclusively for the courteous behaviour of some of the staff. Seems Not customer friendly, and the booking was by office. May be "everything goes type" . The morning breakfast is good, but the restaurant floors can be cleaned when someone spills something and it dries out instead of the boarder having his shoes sticking to the floor. Slightly away from central markets. Ambience is good, peaceful and silent. Rest of the facilities of hotel I did not use.

Good hotel near Cornish in Abu dhabi with good size rooms

Nice hotel for short stay. Staff is good, rooms a bit old but nice, room isolation is moderate. One of the best things in this hotel is the valle parking service

Breakfast was quite good but didn't satisfy me.

Staff hospitality was great and they were very helpful.

Hotel is relatively low quality. I say this because I bought a bottle of wine at the wine shop located at the hotel (the hotel's name is even on the receipt), but reception informed me that they would not provide a wine glass for me because I did not purchase the bottle from room service! Can you imagine!? I'm forced to drink wine from the bottle in my "deluxe king" room. Not feeling very deluxe or king-like at the moment. That would have been expected at a hostel in my 20s, but not here! Also just noticed that there are holes in the sheets.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. I find the lady at the front desk, always on the phone. There is pool, gym and health spa at the top most floor.

This is a quiet 4-star hotel in a quiet location suitable for backpackers

The hotel is above average, the service is good and the reception as well as the room cleaning service are helpful and the car parking service is good, the bed is comfortable, the air conditioning is excellent and so is the internet.
