Large room ...everything else such as safe... A/C control...Curtains require close attention from the management

Average experience. Reception staff not very friendly.
Am on top floor and the is constant humming nose, probably from a/c plant on roof. Difficult to sleep.
Corniche on walking distance and many eating places available.
Services improvement required.

It's good clean but it is too noise due to bulding construction next door.

Stayed for a day and had good experience. Receptionist were dull and not inviting. Good amenities like Smart tv, Good furnishings, study table, lavish restroom and wardrobe were available. Had a great view of the city.
They're not mentioning the check in and check out timing properly. Receipts are provided only if demanded.
There is a kerala-style restaurant 'best Chicken' close by to get economy food. Food at the restaurant might be expensive. Choitram supermarket in nearby.

Went for lunch to Fado's on 6/7/19 to celebrate an occasion. Fish tacos were good. the much praised shepherd's pie was a disaster - 1 tsp filling submerged under 3 inches of mashed potato. My friend's roast chicken was good, accompanying veggies were collapsed in a mush and unedible . Only 3-5 customers , but service was slow . Nice start, terrible end.

I stayed here during lock down period from 09th April to 05th May. I am really happy to see the dedication of the staff towards the guests.
During this tough time also they were serving with smile and efficiency. Hats off to the catering staff.
Very quick room service. Also housekeeping staff was very efficient.
It was wonderful stay .I would like to stay here in future also.
Only thing need improvement is lake of variety in food for Vegetarians. Need to vary the menu.

It was not the first time staying at Oryx and the main entrance experience was not at all good just like the previous time.The receptionist was not welcoming and warm at all but rather very unfriendly, cold and serious.The room was clean and okay but not wow.

I feel I was treated bad as a black African, no respect and I've got to call the receptionist about more than 3 times for just one service and it wasn't once. I stayed 2 days and had to leave

The hotel is average, rooms clean and spacious, but the interior construction finish is a bit oldish. Just 1 min walk to the corniche beach. Marina mall is nearby as well.

Tried them at Ramadan buffet, very limited variety and questionable freshness. The positive thing if you stay there is its closeness to the beach.

It's nice cosy hotel, in the heart if city, with a ever smiling and helpful staff. FADO the new Irish pub is also a place to be in the evening.

The hotel is bad from the reception .. even to the one describing the car .. The frankness, the rooms are good, but the management is very bad .. I don't care at all .. I do not recommend it at all ..

More of a 3 star hotel and the correct standard of hotel as expected for the price paid for one night. Clean and good hot shower. Slept well on the king sized bed. Hotel has a Irish bar downstairs that serves alcohol and Jones the grocer is 1min walk for dinner

Laistahl 4 stars and two writers, they have a babysitting service which is not available, a babo bed, one broken and the bathroom is old and the staff is nice and helpful

It's like apartment, staffs are very less and not cooperative.

Comfortable rooms, kind staff, clean and small swimmingpool on the roof.

Lovely hotel, standard room's are big and spacious I love there bathrooms are big. New TV everywhere so you can watch even Netflix which really surprise me.

Gym is small and equipment/machines rrquired maintenancr

Good room but the there were some hiccups with the room keys as it wouldn't work properly on elevators and the room

Treatment and reception without charge level I hope attention on the development of staff in the treatment of visitors

Very conveniently located and great service all round.

I give one star due to the lovely screeching lady who was understaffed serving breakfast. She was great. When ever I heard her telling down the phone, I felt normal about how messed up the place was. Thank you dear lady.

The swimming pool is not for use after 5 PM. Yeah, right. In Abu Dhabi. Ha ha!

The receptionist staff are are about as sour faced as flat bread...

I wish the owner had to spend 40 days and 40 nights eating the apalling food the hotel serves up. The breakfast is literally slop... cheapest rubbish from a supermarket you've never had the misfortune of stepping into... the coffee like a used teabag had been momentarily dipped into it. Basically waking up to ptolinged hell.. especially from the bad night's sleep...

No sleep! The first week I was put on a floor with a family of ferile hillbillies. Children running from one end of the hallway to the other screaming until 1 AM! Once I'd finally complained, the security guard said to me "they're only children". About a week later they finally moved me from the 'family floor' to the floor below, only to have the privilege of listening to these lovely families bang around from above.

The manager is very trustworthy though. Sarcasm. Thanks for the terrible stay.

If you've read this far keep looking. I found Abu Dhabi has much better hotels that serve real coffee for breakfast!

Okay kind of hotel, with so many restaurant around it...

In past this furniture shop was having good quality, but now quality is reduced as compare to price, poorly arranged furniture, difficult to check and inspect, they must re arrange in proper manner, especially in upper area

The service is excellent and its location is sweet close to the Corniche

I did not have time to enjoy the facilities but the room is very nice, spacious, very cheap, just a little wait to check in but nothing really bad!

Large rooms and good location! Clean and maintained. Room needs more lights and plug points. Good for business travellers.

The place is good but fairly primitive compared to hotels that use more tech as it needs to be arranged more generally and it is good and good eating but I would not recommend the restaurant on the roof at night because the service is very slow and boring
