This intimate venue is beyond beautiful. I love going to concerts, but it's when you go to venues like this that you experience the greatest shows. Not a bad seat in the house, beautiful decor surrounding you, amazing acoustics, cold beers at the bar, and the intimate quality of a small venue. Don't second guess seeing your favorite artists here, you'll not regret it.

The Steve Hackett concert was everything I expected it to be. Being the old fashioned theatre that it is, the vibe and the layout were conducive to us old Proggies milling about. The bar and food section in the back was run smoothly and the servers did a good job. Seats were comfortable, but a little cramped for someone over 6 ft. tall. All in all a pleasant experience.

The Orpheum is a beautiful old art deco theater in downtown LA. I've attended both concerts and TED-style panel discussions there. The bathrooms could use refurbishing; other than that I love the place!

All was fantastic, concert hall was beautiful and historic and the sound was great even after a few technical difficulties. It was very cozy although the seats were a bit small and very close together. I wouldn't inagine it being super comfy if you're especially tall. The only negative of the experience was the girl behind the counter, selling the t-shirts, being beyond rude to everyone for touching the products. She should have put up a sign and stopped treating people like 3rd graders. She makes the rating a hard 3. The girl behind the table wearing the pink sweatshirt with her hair up after the Johnnyswim concert let out. Ditch her and get people with better customer service experience. You'll sell more items. 4 people around us left because they didn't appreciate her attitude. Other than that, I highly recommend attending any event here!

Awesome venue, awesome show. The bathroom situation is ridiculous, and not in a good way. There's a 2,000 person capacity, and I say a toilet for every 375 people. It's nuts. To add onto that we went to GET, and it was 90% old dudes (and there's nothing wrong with that and it is realistically to be expected), but I encountered a lot of really in appropriate bathroom behavior both myself and my compadre experienced (I'm talking eye contact one on one conversations, and shaking after peeing, and I'm talking like 10 shakes before I, in horror, backed away.

Theater is historical and nice looking. Seating is pretty tight, much less leg room than an airline seat. Took off a star for the bar, would not give a cup or ice or tap water despite purchasing beers.

The Orpheum Theatre is one of the nicest vaudeville theatres we still have in Los Angeles. Just saw Rhye, what an amazing performance that was! Also, saw Lewis Black. Which was just alright.

Love that there's so much history in this place. You can tell as soon as you walk in. Came here recently for a comedy show. What a great venue to watch some stand up. My seats were pretty far back, but still had a great view. The event itself felt very intimate, too, since it was an old school theater. Not too big, not too small. Park down the street across from the Ace Hotel though.

It's along the busy streets of S Broadway in L.A. where parking is so expensive ($15) if you're going there just for a show. Although now you can take Uber or similar to it riding for a minimum $8+ or ride-along for almost $5 but I can half-fill my tank for $10 that would last a week. So it's really up to anyone to choose what's best. The physical attribute of this building would be considered old but still operational and I'm not sure maybe maintained in somehow I guess.

Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. We attended "So You Think you Can Dance", and we loved it. From the staff to the restrooms, it was great. The only problem Was there were no concession stands.

Incredible, beautiful theater.

Incredible, beautiful theater.
Weirdly strict staff and rules.
You pay a lot to see a wonderful concert, and you feel like they resent that you deigned to show up and soil the seats.

Came here to see Set It Off stage play with a couple friends. I enjoyed myself. The theater is an old antique type of place. But clean and spacious. Easily to miss when driving. Do pay attention.
