Lovely food in a brilliant location. Would highly recommend the bar section for food!
Lovely food in a brilliant location. Would highly recommend the bar section for food!
The wedding was good and the table service excellent.
We arrived just as breakfast was finishing and lunch was starting on a Sunday 12:00. We waited almost an hour for our starters and then another 40 mins before the main courses arrived. My minute chicken burger was so overcooked it was inedible - I sent it back . I was told it would be 6 mins for another burger but after 15 mins we gave up, paid and left.
Other diners arrived, ordered, ate and had left before we even had our starters. Shame as there were around 12-15 front of house staff who were trying hard but obviously the kitchen was understaffed and the weak link.
We won't be back what a waste of our Sunday midday.
Warm service and great rooms in lovely surroundigns
Great sea food menus. Excellent venue with a great view of the bridges.
Very classy. Good restaurant great food, PERFECT location, bad parking
We had a nice surprise when we arrived at this hotel which was the only one that could accommodate us at 2am, our plane was arriving late. We had a very nice and spacious room overlooking the Queen Ferry. We were able to have breakfast at lunch which is rare in the other hotels. We will return!
Good food great atmosphere and it will always have that view
Accommodation, food and staff all great, nothing is to much, thanks
I was at a friend's wedding and it was a fantastic day but the prices for drinks was totally overpriced
Fabulous meal with perfect views over the Forth.... it doesn't get much better.
We are helping yo organise our daughter's wedding. Beautiful venue with helpful knowledgeable staff.
Beautiful hotel with amazing views of the Forth, very picturesque. We attended a small family wedding recently & thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Staff were also lovely & very helpful.
The only downfall for the hotel is parking which we found impossible and had to park at the local scotmid.
Friendly and attentive staff, quick service and excellent food.
Great picturesque venue, friendly staff and a good atmosphere.
Had our wedding here on 29th August and everything was superb. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we had some fussy eaters!!! The restaurant staff were excellent and served 40 guests in an efficient and timely manner. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. The Manager and Events staff made us feel so welcome and treated us as if we were royalty during the event and the next morning after our overnight stay. Our champagne breakfast was lovely with amazing views across the Forth and the Bridges. Our room was immaculate. Can't praise the Orocco Pier highly enough for making our wedding so special - we will always remember it and how smoothly everythign went. Would highly recommend for such an event..
The place was very nice staff was friendly a bit pricey
Lovely views food a bit disappointing since change of menu
My wife and I ate here for our first anniversary. The food was delicious!
Room was very warm with unusual weather we are having the now but place and staff were lovely, has views of all 3 brdges
Went for a weekend lunch. Good service, superb views. The menu was distinctive and the food was very good
Done a few weddings in this establishment lovely place x
Faultless. Kitchen and restaurant staff ensured we wanted for nothing. They also adapted menu to cater for our daughter who is dairy and gluten intolerant.
The rooms are the views of bridges were fantastic.
All this for a price that DOES NOT make your eyes water.
Could not recommend more.
Best place to eat in South Queensferry. Absolutely terrific food, friendly service and spectacular views
Very nice location with terrific view of all three bridges and reasonable parking close by. I would have liked to give more stars but the service struggled to cope with the large but orebooked group of 24 I went with and the price was rather high for what we had. The booking had been made several weeks ahead for a set price but once sat down we were told it would cost more.
Just had our son and daughter-in-laws wedding here, absolutely fantastic. Staff were great, venue was outstanding, overlooking the fourth bridges. For a wedding it is highly recommended, rooms were great to stay in, very spacious and comfortable. Thank you to you all at the Orocco Pier for a fantastic day.
Nice function suite with a great view over the Forth.
Not my first experience in here but will be my last. Premium pricing for a quality restaurant, shame this isn't reflected in the staff. Host that showed us to our table could have tripped over her miserable petted lip. Given wrong menus to start and no water brought table when we asked.. Wasn't informed at start that there was no chicken available, only after the order was placed. Staff not paying attention to what is available. Hand cut chips were drowned in sat. It's a garnish not a appetiser. Just felt very dissatisfied with a pace we usually admire for its top quality service and cuisine. Won't be back
Great good. Lovely views of the forth bridge. The best mussels I have had in years.
Very beautiful view from the main bar area. Lovely bar staff and friendly atmosphere.
Having stayed overnight and also enjoyed an evening in the restaurant and bar, I can say that every aspect was top quality. Room was great, comfortable and spacious. The food was top notch with dishes in Samphire fresh, balanced and very tasty. The veg breakfast was a game changer too, set us up for the day! The view is stunning to boot, a real gem of a hotel
Lovely views of the bridges and very good service, little on the expensive side though
Lovely cafe, bar, restaurant, with a good selection of hot & cold food & drinks. Lovely view of the Forth Bridges.
Greatly enjoyed the lunch supper club menu. Very nice food and amazing view
Great trip out for lunch. Food was great and all the staff really helpful and friendly. Would recommend!!
Lovely wee 2 course lunch with a lovely view ...food was good and atmosphere was nice
Warm and inviting place. Very nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Only there for a coffee but will return for a meal.
Food was excellent and staff were very attentive, thoroughly enjoyed. X
Came for a wedding (and brunch the next day). Beautiful views, friendly and helpful staff and great food.
I like the Orocco pier a lot. I have stayed there four times and even recommended it for a very successful wedding to my nephew. The food and staff are great and the views are as good as it gets BUT their gift cards are nothing but a complete scam and you really need to stay away from them and unlike their food they leave a bad taste in your mouth and can totally spoil your visit.
I asked at reception about the balance and was told that the gift cards were not computerised like almost everywhere else and once you used even a part of it the balance was gone,
After a bit of faffing about I ended up getting one of the gift cards back by paying the balance cash.
We were supposed to have a special silver wedding treat in our favourite place but the gift card fiasco was just ridiculous. Don't ever buy one
Wonderful wedding venue with nice variety of packages
Portions were small and well overpriced. I went to the chippy on the way home.
Great view, great food, great atmosphere - friendly staff, nice design of the place and background music.
had an amazing time .so clean and food was exceptional . staff could not have been anymore helpful . definitely recommend orocco pier ..Will definitely be back ..thanks again ..Mr and Mr kench xx
Had a lovely stay here . Great room , lovely staff and food was great.
We had the champagne breakfast at the Orocco Pier as part of an online competition they were running.
Got to say we were not dissappointed.
Met by a smiling waitress who quickly found our details and showed us to our outside seats.
We had the Full Scottish breakfast which was fabulous. The service throughout was great and all the staff were very friendly and approachable.
Finally and not least there's not many better views to have your breakfast in Scotland.
We'll definitely be back thank you very much Orocco Pier.
Friendly service, yummy food & wine and great views. Would go again!
Great bar with breathtaking views. A truly wonderful place for a special events but a bit on the expensive side. The restaurant food is limited in range and not overwhelming. Get a bottle of wine and sit by the back window for a truly memorable experience.
Great overnight stay. Fantastic view from a comfortable room. Lovely food.
not the best place to stay my room was in the front and noisy all night no sleep and shower was to small as door only opened so far so not good for larger person so could not get a shower breakfast was not good so in all will not book again ill go else where for a night in the ferry the need to focus on customers more I spoke to manager and explained my complaints but did not even get a refund or discount very poor as they are supposed to be the best in the ferry
My partner and me spent a great Friday night at Orocco Pier in an attempt to escape the depression of Covid. We had an amazing night and it exceeded all expectations.
Check-in was rapid and unfussy. Our room was spotlessly clean and had amazing views of the Forth Bridge. We used their "Date Night" deal and the price was incredibly good value.
There was a bottle of prosecco awaiting us and we were soon settled in for dinner. Although dinner was served in the bedroom, the service for all courses was fast and efficient (and I've experienced a lot of bad room service in my career!) Trays were delivered and cleared away quickly and they even brought a table from the restaurant so it all felt like a proper restaurant dinner.
Rather than stay in our room, we decided to take breakfast in the Samphire restaurant. Again, I think we got the best table in the house with panoramic views over the Forth and it's three bridges.
Check out was quick and easy. All the staff were super-friendly -- special shout-out for Ali on Friday night -- and there is no question that the entire hotel is Covid safe.
I'd have NO hesitation at recommending this hotel for covid get-away (if you're in the same council area of course!) And at this value, get it while you can!!!
Very nice friendly staff, excellent food and location!
A beautiful place for s wedding you are near the beach we went on the sand to have photos taken also had a lovely meal and the staff were very helpful
Had a lovely meal great view of the forth road bridge
Great location. Food can be patchy but worth a visit.
We went for Christmas day food was delicious, great vegan menu and very helpful for my disabled mum in a wheelchair. Will be going back in the summer to try again!
Incredible view of the bridges created an amazing backdrop for the wedding. Staff were polite and helpful.
I didn't actually stay at the hotel but had dinner at the restaurant which I can highly recommend.
Very nice hotel and restaurant, overlooking the bridge and has a little rocky beach for playing on. Staff great, food excellent. Breakfast was great. We had a wedding reception there and they did everything perfectly.
Fantastic staff, excellent location, and very clean / modern rooms.
Great Salmon and side dishes. It was a little noisy. The views were good.
Over for my Father and my son's birthday. Fantastic setting and meal was excellent
Absolutely love this place and the Chorizo chicken is worth the trip alone. The staff are the cherry on the cake of a fantastically well run business. Spectacular views, too. Can not recommend highly enough!
First time at ORocco Pier. What a great venue with an outstanding view of the forth bridges. Food was great , service measured and looked after our birthday dinner really well.
