My experience with this place on my 50 day stay here has been overall a great experience the bhts are all amazing if you treat them with respect. My therapist alex was great. Best part about this place is the peers i spent time with the groups are decent aswell. Would highly reccomend this place. Kitchen staff is awesome mrs elizabeth mrs donna. I had a tremendous dose of help and direction through this organization and through the Telehealth Therapist Keron, all the ROC Staff and Alumni personnel of ROC.

This facility offers descent recovery techniques, but regardless of progress, they keep you as long as insurance allows. They bleed your insurance company as much as they can.

Orc was amazing it definitely saved my life I struggled with alcohol for years my counselor Daryl was awesome and all the therapist we're great a lot of good classes I would recommend or see to anybody struggling thank you Brad Nelson

There were a lot of people who made my stay at ORC amazing. Phill, Anthony, Steve, Claude, Charity, Elizabeth and Alyssa They were all so amazing. The facilities were clean the only complaint I would have is the food.

I learned about co-occurring disorders. I came in "To get help" and I got just that. I learned more about my self in 6 weeks than I have in the past 15 years.

I am in recovery for alcoholism and dealing with depression and anxiety. Leaving here I feel ready to put in the work to be a part of society again.

This was my first rehab and it'll hopefully be my last.

The food was decent and the only thing I'd say they need to improve upon is more outside time. Corona virus makes it so you can't leave the facility that was advertised to me for going out to the beach and meetings. I hope they bring that back in the future.

Good structure to keep patients focused on why they are there. The therapists are amazing, and the group sessions are great. I was in the professional groups as well which was awesome, please don t let this part go away. All BHTs were great! Cafe needs better daily cleaning after meals. Follow the rules it s that easy! Bottom line, your here for you, and you will get what you put into it!

Had an excellent experience, staff, counselors, food, and lodging no complaints. I hope I never have to return but if I did this is where I would go. Such an amazing team to get a great start on your recovery

I learned a lot about myself here they have great therapist and awesome techs. Pierre is the best tech around along with mrs flowers, Chelsea, and Phil. I would def recommend this place!

I had a wonderful experience there and the staff really cares. Anthony and Alyssa were both extremely helpful in my recovery. The BHTs and nursing staff are way over worked and it shows.

My stay here was over good. The BHT s were amazing to me. There was a incident that concerned me. It was handled and taken care of quickly. They truly do have your best interest at heart. The therapists were all supportive and very helpful. The only complaints I could come up with is the food was not good lots of upset stomach s so I would look at the food that is ordered and how it is stored and prepared. Also the Higher ups are not that helpful they are quite rude. Except Delshaun he was amazing. But this place is a good place to get sober the medical nurses and doctors are very on top of it as long as you advocate for yourself. All my nurses were great. Just remember it s your recovery so you need to make sure you are getting your needs met and you put your health first. When you call get as much clarification on what to expect and what you can and cannot have here and phone policy. Just get all the information that is important to you. Have a loved one help you when you call.

I would recommend this facility to anyone. I had an amazing experience to guide me on my road to recovery. All the staff was amazing.....very kind, compassionate, and helpful. I want to say a very special THANK YOU to Esta. She is such an awesome and caring nurse...who always took her time and took such good care of me. Also Quantina, Ms Catherine, Ms Joie, Ms Judy, Bryce, Phil and Chelsea. All of whom went above and beyond for me.

I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff. The BHT'S COUNELORS, AND THERAPIST are very sweet and helpful. My peers felt like family to me after the 1st day. Groups were intreging. I saw my counselors on a regular basis, and they helped me with my aftercare programs i needed i follow up with. I loved the pool on weekends with my peers. I havn't laughed that hard in a long time. The kitchen staff was awesome and the food was good. Lots of fond memories i will take with me when i go. God bless ORC'S STAFF. . CHURCH WAS NICE TOO

One of thee best rehab centers I have been too! Run very well, staff is amazing, groups are very professional, and the rooms and food are great. Would refer too anyone wanting real recovery.

I recently spent 5 weeks at ORC. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff, so many of which I am sad to leave. Dr. Miller, Aubrey, Jasmine, Pierre, Sierra, Chelsea, Tomeko, Mr. Dan, Keshana and Xavier all went above and beyond to treat patients as people and are so clearly invested in the recovery of everyone. Unfortunately, upper management is a problem at the facility. Rules do not consistently apply to everyone and it is obvious that they do not value the patients, their recovery, or their employees. They are hardly seen, make no effort to establish a relationship with patients, and implement unreasonable and impractical policies/procedures. The building is not being maintained well and the program has suffered significantly under the new management. Corporate is apparently unconcerned with the staggering rate of turnover at the facility. Excellent employees are leaving and seeking other employment due to working conditions. I hope to see improvement of the management at the facility as the program has the capability of being fantastic, but falls short due to poor management.

Overall a good experience. It was a life changing experience and I would recommend to anyone struggling with addiction.

The staff was very friendly. Especially the BHTs. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. The facility is pretty comfortable, I definitely think there is room to improve especially the cleanliness. There are some great therapists, but just like any place, there are some bad ones. My only complaint is clients getting treated like dollar signs instead of patients.

Courteous staff. My stay was as good as I could have expected. I feel like I have been able to get my life back together. They allowed me to get an understanding of my addiction and how to keep clean.

The Facility is great. Therapists Kelly and Anthony are really awesome and BHT's Chelsea, Pierre, Aylene, Joye, Phil, and Maggie are really helpful. Food can be improved a bit, but otherwise the program really helped me a lot.

I ve been here for 23 days and I have to say there have been a lot of ups and downs. It s been a lot of inconsistency. They would for my vegetarian option for food to not letting you work out while people were smoking? How does that make sense. At the end of the day the people were the best part and got me through this experience. Certain staff member were awesome! Therapist Elizabeth was the best therapy sessions I had here. I learned so much. Nurse Cassidy made my days! BHT Phil, Mark, Alica, Annette Chelsea.Truly caring and kind. Justy too! Fantastic! At the end of the days we are all adults. You get what you put in to something and I left with my knowledge and now I m on to the work after rehab!

I must say this is a wonderful facility. All staff has really help me. Bht's , Gaccia,phil,shawn,Bridgette,Pauline. Doctor sean. Cassidy,annette,alicia, Pierre. And Kitchen staff. I would reconmmed anybody to attend this Treatment center. If i had to forever need to come back i would rejoin.

So my experience here was okay the place was not organized one bit tho kinda chaotic if you ask me. The bhts try there best to keep everything going. The place needs more structure and better groups about recovery but if u want to recover your going to make the best of it. If your not serious about recovery then well your not gonna make the best of it. Your gonna just do your thing then.

But i will say this that this place will help you recover and give you the tools to get through your journey and the tools to stay sober. So find your purpose in life and make the best of it because death and jail are no joke.

ORL has the best BHTS, nurses, therapists and kitchen staff. Thank you for all you do.

We put our son in a plane to Orlando terrified and broken-hearted on 5/14/16. We really knew not much more than our son was safer there than at home and desperately needed help to stop his heroin abuse.
Following detox he went to ORC. We kept waiting for the phone call that nick was leaving or wasn't planning to stay. That call didn't come.
The care Nick received at ORC was far better than we imagined.
My husband and I were so impressed by the way Orc helps not just the addiction but the whole person.
Moving foward now that our son Completed his program there at Orc we are amazed and feel blessed that Orc is still very much there for Nick as he transitions back into mainstream so to speak. The staff is superb. I really got to know Kim and Troy the most. What caring and loving people. As a mom I couldn't ever have asked for better care for one of my most prized possessions that we made from scratch.

Orlando Recovery Center was truly a blessing in disguise for me. I entered into Orlando Recovery Center confused, weak, broken down, and what I would call "at the end of my rope." To me, the staff and therapists were very knowledgeable and professional. Forty-five days later, I left the Orlando Recovery Center a changed man and with tools to help me cope with my addiction. I will never forget my experience at Orlando Recovery Center; I can truly say, it helped change my life! I look forward to being an alumni return; to give back to others, what was given to me. I rate the ORC with the rating of a 5 PLUS for a job well done!!!

This is my second run now at this facility. I love the staff and the patients. Many memories where made her again. Love the food too.

My discharge date was known to everyone that i was leaving. I waitied 3 and a half hours for my prescription medication. It is so unorganized with the medicine it s ridiculous. They don t have anything organized and ready for you when you discharge like they should. I am so frustrated and i will never come back Bc Of the unorginization.
I came to this place for 36 days. I was downstairs in detox for 2 days. And then i went upstairs after two days and went to php and iop. I loved all the BHTs besides one. The therapists are great, and the groups are great too. I got a lot out of each group. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is struggling with addiction and wants to get help. I m leaving today after 36 days here and i did learn a lot, but mostly i learned a lot from the patients here. I also made so many amazing friends here. The head owner or director does need to get things more organized. I had to keep asking the nurse to get my prescriptions as I was already suppose to leave. He needs to have all your prescriptions ready when your suppose to leave. That s how it should be. But overall great place

ORC transformed me from a broken being into somebody who saw his true potential. The staff, and especially Troy Nielsen the director, took what felt like a special interest in me until I realised that that's how they treat all of their patients. Thanks to this program I am now nearly 60 days clean and sober and have learned ways to cope with my problems without the use of drugs or alcohol. Thanks ORC for saving my life and allowing me to be free of my addiction!

Saved my life phillip and pierre and Katy are amazing.

During my stay at O.R.C. I learned invaluable skills and coping mechanisms to deal with life sober. I learned the true value I can get out of my life when I really apply myself. The staff is friendly, thoughtful, encouraging, and inspirational. I learned and grew every day with guidance from patients and staff alike.

This place got me right. Good people work here. They deal with a lot of unruly addicts with grace and patients. Obviously it sucks getting sober physically and mentally, but this place is the place to do it. They have saved lives here. Love yall

Eric is totally arrogant and puts ppl on the spot way too much. He made a gay man come out in a session which is so inappropriate . He made ppl come out that had a eating disorder it was so uncalled for. He pointed me out for looking at my phone in session but a girl was literally sleeping and didn't say anything to her. He told me why do I even come so i left and went back to drinking. Get a more sympathetic therapist that is all I'm saying.

You twice a week for an hour. Staff was friendly but management was clueless as to the issues the place has. There has to be better options in the rehabilitation profession.

Awesome staff and the best therapy Ive ever had. I've been to treatment multiple times and this is by far the best experience I've ever had . Troy and Cortina work very hard to make this place what it is.

Overall I got what I came here for. Most of the BHTs are nice and really caring. Nurses were good and my therapist was great. Main complaint is the communication here. You never know what your doing and smoke breaks change frequently. There s no consistency here and even the clinical director Doug told us ORC is consistently inconsistent he never has an answer for any of the problems.

Mr phill is awesome & really cares about us patients. We expect the same with Phill each day he is strict but down to earth and we can talk to him about anything we feel comfortable with him working and we re on a schedule every day we are expected to follow it to a T. This really makes operation move smoothly especially with how many people are here. Ben is awesome And ms crystal really made my stay here comfortable also ms Catherine Chelsea Alene and Catherine was very sweet and always made us smile and was very helpful in my recovery if I didn t have these people I don t know how my stay would have been. I even have therapists that were not my therapist but it felt like it like ms Elizabeth very caring always

This place helped accomplish what I needed to get done.

Was a former patient here and was treated well. Im over 1 year clean now...I have been reaching out via email for weeks to case management with no reply. Im not sure if the staff has been replaced or whatever the case is. What I need is proof that I completed the treatment program there, to be provided to my dui school and my probation officer. I have my records but they need it sent directly from your establishment. Please help me.

At first was concerned about certain issues, but found all the staff to be respectful, considerate, and helpful. Alicia is very professional and has a way of making me feel comfortable, staying busy and on top of things .
My therapist was very good and seemed to be very much concerned about my situation and circumstances!!
Only concern was because of the inability to watch everything, I had so me cigarettes stolen out of the box, no matter who was chaperoning.

Friendly and helpful staff. The food is good most of the time. Seems a bit understaffed actually.

Jared, the Community Outreach Associate, located in our area is wonderful to work with. He is always willing to help and brings great knowledge and professionalism. We are very thankful to have him in our area.

The staff is above and beyond, they are helpful, friendly, and truly care about the clients! However the management needs work...in that they don't seem to care and have a lack of communication to the staff. If I had the option I would fire the upper hands and keep the staff in it's entirety.

This place is amazing. The therapists are top notch. A big shout out to Paige, Ellen, TJ, and Betsy who really helped me process the things inside of me that were tough to examine. I didn t want to look at those things, but they made me feel like I wasn t alone and made it so that I didn t have to face the fear by myself. I would be remiss if I didn t mention Phil, Joy, and Ms. Judy. They made the nights more bearable, making sure that none of us gave into the despair of being separated from our families. They made sure we were well taken care of in our (often times reluctant) home away from home. Finally, my heartfelt thanks go to Alyssa. I came in broken, swimming in a sea of self-loathing and misery. You helped me to break down the negative things that I was telling myself and gave me a new frame of reference. Because of your hard work, I have found self-forgiveness and an acceptance that I didn t think I d ever find again.

If you are suffering from substance abuse and are looking for a place where you can start your recovery journey while being treated like a human being, you won t find a better place than the Orlando Recovery Center. More than just removing me from my drug of choice for several weeks, they helped me to tackle the things inside of me so that I no longer feel the NEED to use. I am leaving with a plan for continued Recovery, and because of the wonderful professionals here, I have an optimism and confidence that I haven t felt in quite some time. This place and organization saved my life! The staff is very understanding and empathetic. They will encourage you to grow through various therapeutic methods and through personal accountability. They know that recovering from substance abuse is not easy, but they will help you begin your journey and maintain it longterm!

The staff was professional from the cleaning staff to the medical staff. Accommodation are clean and orderly. I received the help and guidance I needed through the group and individual counseling sessions. The counselors helped me get to some core issues that I hadn t addressed before. The approach was well balanced offering peer interaction and feedback and all aspects of recovery were addressed. I would highly recommend ORC to the anyone struggling with addiction that wants to get clean and sober but needs help to start the process.

It was a good experience there , they really helped me put & have been clean ever since I left . The staff is amazing & very caring . I m so lucky to have had a chance to go there .

the reason why I gave them a 3 star is because I ran into a HIPPA violation... i was in the track B room (dietary room) the leaders were gossiping and it didn't help make me feeling comfortable. Rough times getting into my therapist. Way too many people not caring when I talked to them. Some people are here just for a paycheck and it shows! There were some staff that were friendly and went above and beyond. I loved Sierra, Dorrance, Pierre and Que!

Leadership can be worked on but I have to say when it comes to the therapists Anthony, Elizabeth and many others they are the best ever. As well as bhts ( the best one is Chelsea) are beyond kind caring and truly invested in the clients with real care.

My stay here was something that helped me a lot. The fact that they have a specific program for eating disorders as well as substance abuse and mental health was a big factor in my coming here. Jasmine is a wonderful therapist and Kurry was a knowledgeable and helpful dietician.

5 stars to the employees. The therapists, doctors, most of the nurses and the BHT s are truly amazing. However, I was sad to see that several familiar faces I saw the first time I was there are gone, and a few others are on there way out. It appears that they are overworked and undervalued, which would explain all the changes. Another issue I have with ORC is that it s impossible to contact management to resolve an issue after you leave. I ve made numerous attempts to contact them regarding a billing issue that is finally, after 4 months, being addressed. I want to stress the fact that if you are considering going to this facility MAKE SURE to verify that they are using your in network providers for ALL your care, including medicine.

Spent 47 days here. BHT'S were compassionate and helpful. Therapists were as well. Communication between management and staff regarding policy could be improved. Dr. Sean was very effective at communicating medical needs and taking a genuine interest in his patients needs. Overall, a good environment for anyone considering recovery.

My sister was very apprehensive about entering treatment. When we arrived the director of Nursing met us at the door, she talked to my sister about what to expect over the next few days and gave her a personal tour. She completely set her mind and mine at ease. She gave me her business card before I left and any time I had a question or concern she addressed it promptly. She did daily check ins on my sister and she is a huge reasons sister completed your program. She is back to her old self again and she has remained sober. I can t thank Melissa enough for just her kind words and support she provided. The entire nursing team was fabulous. Again thank you so much.

Without the help of ORC, I would not be where I am today. ORC helped target the issues I have/had and individually helped me work on myself. The staff at ORC helped mold me into the person I am, helped find my sense of self, and took the steps into finding e an aftercare program that worked for me. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anybody struggling with the disease of addiction.

I would absolutely recommend this place because they have everything you're going to need to reach a successful recovery. They teach cognitive reconstruction so you can gain the coping skills that you need in order to work a program. Its very comfortable here and the BHTs and doctors here make you feel at ease. They tend to all you physical needs as well as making sure you get the mental aspects of your recovery. I am very pleased with this place.

The therapy is great but it is basically jail management does not communicate with staff so they have a alternate view of reality as all they watch is their bottom line. Many caring staff are disappointed as are the clients

Good recovery experience. Facility has some issues they need to work through with organization, communication, and staffing, but the staff is amazing and caring.

I felt completely lost, I had hardly any assistance from the medical staff, the only assistance I received was from the BHT staff. Okay so it's my second day here someone that stole my cigarettes no big deal but that left me with a bad feeling, after being here for almost 7 days I saw a therapist one time I thought I was here for therapy wow. The whole experience was unacceptable and I felt completely uncomfortable. My children tried to contact me many many times and were unsuccessful no messages were given to me that they had been trying to call until after three to four days, a big thumbs down to the whole experience.

Facilities are great but need better counselors and better food
