If the sun is out, and the sky is blue, this amazing place will take your breath away. The exterior is incredible, but the interior is soooo much more awe-inspiring. It made me cry...so be warned if you're the emotional type!

The story behind it is just brilliant so do be sure to have a guide, they will give you so much more information.

I'm not a religious person. I am not keen on many churches. But as someone who has a passion for music, art & architecture, this is one church I would happily spend many an hour in. It is welcoming, uplifting and inspirational....exactly what a church should be in my book.

It is continually a work in progress with another 7 years of building until the completion target date so expect scaffolding and cranes....but irrespective, it does not detract from the amazingness.

Beautiful architecture which looks amazing on the outside but simply stunning on the inside. Pictures does not do this place any justice whatsoever. It is a must see. Around 30 euros for entry which includes a very thorough audio tour. Highly recommend! Would give it more than 5 stars if that was an option

Whilst I absolutely appreciate the design and look of the building. My most prevalent thought was that I was watching the construction of a world famous building. Apparently they sink 25 million euros into this annually and you can see where its going. A must see.

An absolutely stunning church. The stained glass was amazingly gorgeous and cast beautiful colours all around the church. The recommendation is to go in the morning to see the light easter colours cast around the church, and in the afternoon to see the passions colours cast around. The audio guide was included in admission and was worth a listen, though I couldn't always figure out where I was supposed to be standing for different numbers.

It was, of course, very expensive. I would not recommend paying the extra cost to go up the towers - it was a tight fit, very claustrophobic, and the view you get at the top is about 2 metres the first opening (and you are pushed forward to continue moving by the people behind you), and then later on the way down there is another small bridge where you can look out, but it was also packed with people.

Exceptional architecture, but during day (around 2pm on November) the surrounding was extremelly filled with people. That is why the capacity for tours was sold out before 2pm. So we couldnt visit the interior even if we wanted to buy ticket for 30 .

Well worth a visit. Wished we had bought our tickets before travelling as we couldn't get tickets to go up the towers. The inside of the building is amazing and the inclusive portable guide was great. We visited in the afternoon when the colours of the windows were amazing. Will definitely visit again

haven't seen a church like this anywhere in the world. It's absolutely unique..... of course, another masterpiece of Gaudi's architecture. Started in 1882, this church is still incomplete but the work is still on. We were told by our guide that is likely to be completed by 2026 which incidentally is Gaudi's centenary year. The Basilica has different views from different directions and is indeed one of the most fascinating buildings that one might come across.

It is very nice inside , but it used to be 20 euros and now it costs 26 if you buy online and you don't have access to the upper part. Even with the virus situation if you wear mask it should be ok to go up on the stairs.
Value for money is not worth it.

Very impressive and beautiful. But make sure you buy tickets in advance. If you just come on site without having reserved anything, tickets might have been sold out. And that would be a shame because La Sagrada Familia is the one thing to see in Barcelona.

Beautiful place but be warned of the awful crowds. Get the earliest ticket you can and get it like a week in advance at least, maybe more in high season. Found the audio guide kind of boring but it s usually mandatory with most available tickets.

Overall found the crowds kind of ruined the experience. If u want to go to the part of the building for silent prayer, be sure to wear a shirt which covers your shoulder.

Found the detail work by other artists on the entry doors gorgeous so be sure to check out the fine details of the place. And if u come in the am you get nice sun shining through the windows.

Absolutely a must see in Barcelona. The exterior is extravagant with several major Biblical scenes sculpted into it and many important Christian symbols. Personally I would forego entry as the interior is not as interesting, in my opinion.

Stunning building. Outside and in. Seen a fair few cathedrals and this is something else. Wouldn't bother with the tower tours tho. Views weren't great. Que for the elevator was long. It is the most touristy thing you can do and the whole area is very crowded. But it's really worth it. Shame old Gaudi never got to see more than a fraction built in his lifetime.

Visiting this place requires planning and advance bookings. Please research online to avoid disappointments. There is always a huge crowd. The architecture and size and scale is simply breathtaking. And I keep wondering why can't they finish building the church after so many years. Anyway, it is a MUST-SEE in Barcelona. Words can't describe, just get there and soak it up.

I hope everyone that is reading this is having a really good day. And if you are not, just know that in every new minute that passes you have an opportunity to change that.

What do you think of this beautiful place?

I'm not a fan of Gaudi's style, so the exterior of the church didn't impress me. But the interior is stunning!!! All those tall pillars, colourful stained glass windows create the magnificant impression.
I bought the skip the line ticket at La Sagrada familia official site. I found it the cheapest way because they don't charge additional taxes. And it was a very good decision because I had to wait like 5 minutes. If you have the skip the line ticket you have to come 10 minutes before your time.
My ticket included the possibility to skip the line, the audio guide and the visit to one of the towers (I chose the Nativity tower). The audio guide was informative, but the visit to the tower was absolutely worthless. I don't know how is a view from the other one but from this tower the newest part of the city is seen. Well for me it wasn't worth it.
So in a conclusion I recommend to buy the skip the line ticket with the audio guide without visit to the towers.

An absolutely astounding and mesmerising building. The audio tour gives lots of information about the history, design and construction. It's not cheap to enter, but considering the money goes towards completing the building it's acceptable. I definitely recommend it.

At the moment the views from the towers aren't great due to the construction - and you have to walk down 400 steps to get back to the ground floor which may be an issue for some people - so don't pay the extra unless you definitely want to.

Awe Inspiring, monuments, make sure to book tickets ahead of time, beautiful in every aspect and at the same time no words can express its majestic beauty and presence. Gaudi is and was a master genius with a vision non can follow. Unique in every way

A little too expensive but utterly astonishing with a huge history behind the project. I'd recommend to book the appointment in advance online, because there are huge queues all the time at the ticket shop. It also has a museum inside. We also bought passion tower ticket (people say that it has a viewnon the city and is a little bit higher than a nativity fasade, which has a better view on nature). However, it was closed because of the rain. We were tald we'd be reimbursed. It is a little difficult to follow the audio guide, but still worth having it. Many people all the time, but you can manage to move more or less normally. The interior is just breathtaking

So, the Sagrada Familia, the most popular work of Antony Gaudy. The basilica itself is a little frightening to me but it is a masterpiece indeed. Even it is not fully build the beauty of the sculptures can be seen. The towers were closed wen we went there due to security reasons, nobody told us what was that for. Very disappointing. The access to the crypt was also closed. After all we have paid for visiting the towers but we didn't. You have to wait for about an hour even if you got you ticket online. There is a huge que outside no matter what time you go there. So be prepared to wait long, long time.

One of the most impressive basilicas I've visited. This basilica is still under construction and we can actually see the old construction compared to the recent one. Plans are to finish in 2026. The outside columns have so much detail and the inside is beautiful with the frosted colored windows. For a fee you can take an elevator to the top and then walk down the spiral stairs and enjoy the views (you cannot take the elevator down)

We visited near sunset which was a real treat. The interior was lit by the setting sun and beautiful colors poured in through the windows. We also toured the bell tower on the Passion facade and stepped out onto the bridge as the bells tolled. It was frighteningly spectacular.

Magnificent, mind blowing as well as "How does one think up a project like this". A definite visit.

We had a dissapointment since the booking agent: Bedsonline made us a booking to see the inside as well as going up in one of the towers, but on a time the church was closed for a private function. We never saw the inside due to this error. Best advice from my side is make sure you booking is on a time the church is open to the public.

Interesting place, worth booking in advance to get in. Ticket to the top of the towers is worth doing if 30 isn t a stretch for you. Views are good from the top! The exhibition in the basement tells the story of the Sagrada Familia very well and is worth spending some time looking through. Iconic site in Barcelona and a must see!

Absolutely must see if you're in Barcelona. Inside is not as breathtaking as outside, but it's still worth visiting.
I recommend you to buy tickets online for the cheapest option which is 17 euro. It's good to do it week earlier, if you want to be sure you'll be able to go there during your stay.
Also, it's best to visit during the day not the evening, due the best visual experiences ;)

One of the highlights and must see. Lovely park to sit in on one side. You must buy tickets before online. This caught us out and the WiFi seems to not work nearby. Pricing boards out the front are misleading. It's basically 30 euros. The guards on the ways in are grumpy and unhelpful. Once in the queue it was quick. Beautiful stain glass windows and lights inside.

This is different than any other Church and probably the best work of architecture in all of Barcelona. Even if you do not think the exterior is that appealing, the story behind it, but most of all the interior of the basilica should be what brings you in. The shear scale and colors of the interior are something out of a dream. This is a church of light where each wall is iluminated by the vast inflow of sunlight. The audio-guide is also a must as the outside of the church teaches such an intricate story that it is hard to comprehend without it being pointed out. don't forget to reserve in advance however as it get full pretty quick.

Breathtaking!!! A symbol of the city, and a must while visiting Barcelona. Book in advance, to avoid long lines! I recommend the guided tour, which takes around an hour. However, once you get in, you can stay there as long as you want. Learn about every detail of the three facades as well as the interior. Don't forget to go to the museum. Highly recommend!!!

Get your tickets before! This is a must see in Barcelona. Unbelievable building created by Gaudi which has not been finished. Try and find yourself a tour guide that will explain every single bit of it. Every inch was made with a meaning behind it so do not miss out. They are currently still working on it and have give a date when and there s even a reason for that date. The Architecture is unbelievable and the natural lighting with all the colors. The guided tour was about $30 per person which is worth it. You do not need to go up for the tower since there are other view points in Barcelona. If you are looking to eat try and walk out of that area as it is a tourist trap.

Any visit to Barcelona wouldnt be complete without a tour of this amazing landmark building!! This is indeed Gaudi's absolute masterpiece extraordinaire...and it looks almost surreal and magical!! The foundations were laid in 1813, but the building has yet to be completed!! This is a fine example when a building has far outlived the architect who designed it...it is due to be completed in the year 2022, and tickets for the opening ceremony have been selling like hotcakes!! For me personally, the newer additions are just pastiche, and could never measure up to the original creation by the masterful Son of Barcelona...the fact that you could clearly see the difference between the old and the new would certainly turn off some Gaudi purists, but this is a major tourist attraction, and the powers that be had to make that difficult decision...lets hope that a compromise would be achieved in the near future, upon the full completion of La Sagrada Familia...

Stunning exterior and interior peace of art! It is one of the most visited place in Barcelona, so better to book the ticket on line to skip the line. Entrance is at the rear of the church and, exit is at the front. Be aware also of the queue you can facing at the security control just before enter the church...it is like the one at the airport and, if is a busy day, can take long. Very interesting the museum below the church and the video story of the church with explanation about the project and the construction of the church (still not finished).

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. You can spend hours in here! If you can, do a guided tour so you can learn about all the different material used to make this church and about the history of it. If you go up to the towers you take an elevator but you have to go down almost 500 stairs and there are extremely steep and a hard to go down especially after a day of exploring, also if you have a moderately sized bag you will need to put in in a locker and the is 1euro so you will need a coin. The best time to go is while it is sunny since the sun shines through the windows creating beautiful colors. We are going to come back after 2026 when the church will be completed.
