I highly recommend ADAAP. The entire staff are very genuine and professional. Everyone has different problems so they tailor treatment plans to help each individual move foward with life. I am very greatful to have been in this program.

I've been to more recovery programs than I care to mention. Most were cookie cutter formats. Adaap keeps it real and provides you with the information, tools, and support you need to get and stay clean, without softening or sugar coating the facts.

This ADAAP IOP program is perfect! Not only does it mandate that we go to 12-Step meeetings three times per week, I also got a sponsor who helps me with my recovery!These meetings and the curriculum of IOP go together like love and marriage. I've also heard some revealing stories from othert clients. I learned so much from them and realized some of them have more problems than I do. We coverfed so many things in the class, like co-dependency and setting b oundaries. This program gives me a blueprint to follow to be a better person. There's more honesty in this group than out in the rest of the world. I now have an awareness of how wto avoid pitfalls. This program was very enlightening.

I recieved my second DWI in less than 2 years and was ordered by the court to attend outpatient alcohol abuse treatment. I went in with the attitude that I didn't need treatment, that I would attend only because I was required to do so by the court. I didn't think I was an alcoholic, that I had only used poor judgement, in that I drove while drinking. I knew after the first class that I needed to be there, that I was in fact an alcolohic. I was nervous and scared beyond words before my first class. I had never been in any type of "Group" discussion before and always was frighten to death to speak in front of strangers. The staff at ADAAP made me feel at ease the moment I walked in the door. The first class set the tone for the remaining treatment and I knew I belonged there and that it was going to help me in my recoverery from alcohol addiction. I know that without attending treatment and the support of my "Group" and ADAAP staff that I wouldn't have made it to the point I'm at now. I know I have a long way to go but I know ADAAP has my back. I would recommend ADAAP to anyone suffering from alcohol or drug addiction.

ADAAP is awesome! I had been through classes before but always felt like just another body in the classroom. At ADAAP, the staff strive to get to know each participant and are all knowledgeable in recovery. They care about each person and use their own personal experiences to help everyone who comes through their doors. I highly recommend this program.

Coming into this program I was probably like everyone else and wondered why me? Or this is not for me, I do not need this ... but I have definitely got something out of this program! I feel good coming to it and talking and relating with others. Joyce and the rest of the staff are AMAZING!!! Beyond amazing!!!! They do not look at us as just another number. They ask questions, they know your name, they notice if you have missed, and they help in many ways. Even if it is just a smile or a hug! I know that a simple gesture like that coming into this class on a bad day has completely turned my day around! I can't thank ADAAP and their staff enough for their immense sincerity and support. It was difficult trying to bring myself to terms to admitting I had a problem and getting help. These reasons were due to the simple doubt I had of, does this even work? Am I wasting my time? Do they even care? Why would I embarrass myself like this and so forth. I can tell you it does work, you won't waste your time, you won't feel embarrased, I was so comfortable and they all really cared a lot! I would recommend this program to anyone who seeks help for any type of addiction. It's changed my life tremendously and I'm grateful of this program every single day!

Man I ve been to a lot of rehabs in my day and a lot of IOP AND aftercares as well and I gotta say this is the best one. The staff is not only knowledgeable about sobriety and the twelve step model but they also live by the same set of principles they teach about. I wish I could go here over and over but I ve stayed sober for so long I unfortunately have to depart soon. Wowza what a great place

This is a great place for people with alcohol and alcohol addiction. What I like the most is supportive and non judgmental atmosphere. People can open open up and share their stories, talk about everything regarding addiction, path to recovery and legal problems. The Group and staff support is
very beneficial. So far I have learned a lot about the nature of this disease and about myself.
I have been attending the Aftercare for over 6 months and I have seen some positive changes in me on psychological and emotional level. This program and wonderful therapists helped me become a better person. Every week I look forward to our meetings and participating in a group.

Adaap is a very friendly, and afordable IOP treatment center. They really go out of there way to work with you. And if you you need someone to talk to they are there. Really recommend this place compared to some of the other IOP centers here in Austin.

I first walked in ADAAP thinking I was about to waste more money but it was worth every penny. This program is here for you. All you have to do is have an open mind. Even the smallest effort of your part will make a difference. Mrs Joyce has the biggest heart and she is sincere about wanting to help you reach sobriety. Frankly ADAAP and Mrs Joyce have been my answer and I thank them for that.

It may come off as just some other small office location you've got to go to because some judge, probation officer or whoever told you too but it's quite the opposite! This place isn't like the others. The employees/counselors don't ever make you feel like criminals/substance abuse users that cops or others may make you feel. But they don't act like a bunch of fakes either.
For those of us who have attended are so diverse and straight up! But don't get pushed to speak more than we want to. There's no upright, too good to be there attitudes being forced to sit in a circle and sing. Believe me, I would've found somewhere else to go! And on top of that, most of the staff have been in your shoes and they can usually even get the most closed up of ppl to even listen (if anything). At least walk in just once and you'll know what I mean.
Ms. Joyce is great and it's a great experience and they make you feel comfortable. The also have great speakers that I really enjoy.

This was certainly not a program I was a willing participant in when I first went in. But it did make me realize how I was drinking to cope with my struggles. It also helped me open up to my wife and become more understanding when dealing with family issues. My counselor is someone I look forward to seeing. She also has gone beyond the program to be involved with some of my family members to make sure I m being positively support by the important people in my life.

I wasn't sure of what to expect when I signed up for IOP. My primary purpose for going was to help me with a pending case. However, I learned so much about myself, and it really ended up being something I did for myself and my future. Julie is an awesome counselor. She's very relatable. IOP isn't just a class full of lectures. It's learning how to really live without drugs and alcohol. All of the staff is friendly and has our best interest at heart. Now I'm in aftercare, and I couldn't be happier. It's where we get to talk about life outside of IOP, and the IOP clients can see what aftercare is like. It's great!
When you hear of outpatient treatment or meetings, you automatically think of everyone sitting in a circle telling them some sob story of their life. Adaap is not like that at all. I had to go in due to it being court mandated and I thought it was going to be the longest 6 weeks of my life but I have to say it has not been. If you need to get some outpatient treatment, come here. Every counselor and staff member is so welcoming and understanding. I have the pleasure of working with Ms. Joyce and it has been amazing. She is very real and does not judge. She works hard to make sure that we deal with the alcohol or drug problem but also within ourselves. Speaking with everyone and hearing their own advice has been beyond helpful. If other treatments have not worked, try here.
