Mad trippy on the inside. Pretty cool building worth a visit

Breath taking serious u have to see it if your going to Barcelona! I love little hidden treasures off the beaten track so when I was told about it I kinda shrugged it off but I went anyway and omg the most beautiful building I've ever seen in my life the creative thinking that has gone into it is truly amazing!!!

What an amazing place. The architecture is famed for good reason. It's an unique building with an amazing story as well. The interior makes use of painted glass to bring all the colours inside. Pack lightly as the lines are long due bag checks, similar to airport security.

Amazing! Never seen anything like that. It was so beautiful and magical that I could cry. Definitely it is one of things you must see in Barcelona.

Tl;dr take the time to explore this building. You ll be glad you did. Take a tour or walk around yourself, but make sure to stop by at least once.

My favourite place in Barcelona Gaudi s Masterpiece

Lovely place, so much detail & artwork inside & out of this beautiful structure. You spend a lot of time looking over the many different meaning on the interior and exterior. Do the audio tour or the guided tour, you need all of the detail and meaning behind each object, sculpture and tower explained to you to really appreciate it.

One of the most beautiful, awe inspiring, deeply moving places I've ever had the honor of visiting. It will leave you speechless.

Exquisitely jaw dropping. Seriously, my jaw dropped, goosebumps appeared, my heart pounded hard, and my head spinned all while tears filled up in my eyes upon entering. I have some started just thinking about it. We visited the nativity tower. It's an elevator ride up and then you walk down. Pick up your audio guide but don't start it until you do the tower at your allotted time. We didn't understand this and went to tower after and almost were not allowed to enter. They took pity on us.. thank you, La Sagrada Familia employees. It's also a bit of a wait to get in and go through security so make sure you arrive in enough time.

Beautiful architectural masterpiece with a ton of natural light. I love the style of the interiors because it doesn't look at all like your typical european church with creepy statues and dungeons looking crypts. I would definitely recommend booking in your ticket in advance, but I'm not sure about the audio guide.

I thought I had cathedral fatigue in Europe after seeing one grand and/or beautiful site after the next. And then there is La Familia Sagrada... Unique, stunningly grotesque masterpiece. Visited in 2008. Must revisit the cathedral at completion...

Make sure you purchase your tickets online before hand. They sold out when we first got there.

This church has been under construction for over 100 years. It is still following the guidelines of the original architect. The plan is to have it completed in 2026, the one hundred year anniversary of the architects death. It is truly magnificent.

I have never been moved by the architecture before as I was here. Once this place is finally finished... I will be bringing my entire family.

This mind-blowingly dazzling architectural marvel is a must see in Barcelona. The building is entirely funded by ticket sales and is expected to be completely finished in 2026. Book a tour to avoid the lines outside. I highly recommend going up one of the spires! Two were open when I went in 2013.

A contrast of styles the internal is more homogenous and quite beautiful the outside really. a bit over the top and overly decorative

Make sure to pay and go inside. You'll need to book it a day or so in advance but it's worth it. The afternoons are really good with the light through the stained glass. If you get to go up to the tower stay and watch the sunset over the city. Well worth it.

Outstanding Catholic building by one of the greatest architectural artist of the 20th Century. Although it's always visited by crowds of tourist from all around the world, it's definitely worth to visit if you come around Barcelona. Don't dare missing out it at all!!!

You have to see this. Its beautiful. And wen you go by the metro. There is a direct stop (Sagrada de Familia)

Amazing cathedral. So unique and totally unlike any other cathedral. The sculptures of the scenes and characters at the crucifixion of Christ was a highlight for me. The interior was bright with so many stained glass windows and the column architecture made it feel like you were in a forest.

This cathedral is amazing! Just as impressive as expected from a photos. Note that it is $27 to enter and your the cathedral by audio, however this does not include going up the towers. You should be sure to get tickets online in advance, the lines are long even outside of tourist season!

Words can't describe the beauty of the light that comes through those stained-glass windows. A basilica like no other, it puts Saint Peters, Notre Dame, and Westminster to shame with the elegance of its interiors and the tenderness and power of its facades. This alone is worth traveling across the world to see.

What a church! The architecture is stunning and imaginative. An exterior skin filled with statues and monuments, an interior austere in comparison, but filled with light and space A must visit.

A must-visit spot! A lovely landmark with inspirational architectural work, around 80 years to completion yet it's already spectacular and iconic in Barcelona if not Spain.
The surrounding is green, I hope it will be maintained and be improved in this era of over-visitations.

Make sure you go when it s not raining as they close the lift to the tower. The tower is with the wait for the elevator. It s really a good look out.

TIP. Be aware if you are older or not so good with heights that the decent is pretty intense. Embarrassed to admit but I got wobbly legs myself and I love heights.

TIP 2. Go as early, first cab of the rank, as you can to avoid lines and a group tour will be more insightful.

Fall in love with this style of architecture. I prefer the inside to most of the churches I have seen through Europe.

Apparently they aim to be complete til 2026 but don t wait til then, you just need to come back like I intend to.

So overrated. Beautiful and interesting from the outside, but like a modern Catholic church inside, with abstract and formless shapes. The height of the ceiling is impressive but nowhere near worth the expensive entrance fee.

I highly recommend. I didn't know much about it going in. I was mostly going because my husband was interested. It is a special place. Get tickets ahead of time to ensure you can get in.

Without the doubt, this is one of the must-sees in Barcelona, it will be a shame if you miss it... my bf is an engineer who is not fond of art galleries or museums normally but even for him, he gave high praise to this one and absolutely awed by its design.

Such a great piece of imagination, skill and art. Visited it today and happy with the decision of having an audio guide . It really helped in understanding the significance of intricate details on the walls/pillars which would seem vague from afar to someone at first sight.

if you manage to ignore the crowd of people, the building that surrounds you and look at the details you discover all over you can see what fascinating minds could have this artist architect. reserve a climb into one of the towers. we climbed into the nativity facade. everything is well organized. if you get tickets in advance and book a certain time you will know exactly how long you need for this visit

Everything is superb about this place!! A must go for everyone. No photo can truly capture its magnificence. My jaw refused to close throughout the entire visit - too mindblowing!! We got the self help audio tour and I think is more than enough as we were able to tour around at our own pace. We also took the tower visit on the Nativity facade and is totally worth it. Remember to book online early.

Such an amazing expierience, would strongly recommend the tour that opens at 9am most days. Also offers a really awesome free option if you just want to sit on an bench and appreciate the architecture

The most beautiful historic place I've ever seen. The outside is breathtaking. The story behind the design of the outside is fascinating. You must at least listen to the audio guide when visiting. It helps you appreciate the work of Gaudi so much more, and appreciate the building more. Inside, the beauty continues. It made me a little emotional! I could have spent all day marvelling at it. If you visit anywhere in Barcelona, this has to be on your list.

As with most of the public things to se in Barcelona, make sure you book tickets well in advance of your arrival as they sell out.

It's a construction with a mix of old and new architectures. Crowded with lot of visitors. Must visit place in Barcelona. You can find some spectacular views around and you have to buy a ticket to enter inside. This amount will be used for completing the construction.

Nah, outside it's much more exciting. If you are not so interested in religion and/or architecture: don't waste your 30 euros.

Great historical place you must visit this place as soon as possible

This Cathedral looks confusing from the outside, however, after the tour everything made sense. The thought on the design infuses nature, cosmos, symbolism and man. A must see and take the tour!

This the most beautiful and most imaginative church in the world. Breathtaking and may even evoke tears or at the very least, a welling up of emotion. You MUST make time for this if you re going to be in Barcelona!

I visited here while i was on my trip to spain, Barcelona. It was worth spending my time and money. Amazing work of an architect. I was started to be built years ago and construction still going on. Loved the scenic view from the top.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. Go inside!!! Time your visit with the sun for a breathtaking religious experience. Never seen anything like it!!!

Another great tapas place we visit during our stay in BCN . Wait was not very long. Couldn't get the bar table seats. Food were very good. Roasted pig and Razor clam are the must try dishes

If you like modern statues and interior you won't be disappointed

The building is magnificent. The Gothic exterior near the entrance (nativity facade) is such a work of art. The different architectural design is something to be appreciated. The interior is not disappointing too, with its nature theme. Definitely go during the afternoon when there are strong sunlight to see the glow of the colored glass windows. They are beautiful. The towers were under construction when I was there but it looked like it would have been awesome to be able to go up. My only beef with this place is the price of the tickets. It's rather costly to enter.

what a beautiful architecture, nearly almost a hundred twenty years and hopefully it'll be finished within the next decade. At this time I think there are about 10 pillars maybe 11 out of 18. Some parts of it have the old limestone look, some are new because they're still building it, but man it is gorgeous. Around the church there are stores where you can buy food, souvenirs and paintings. We bought a little painting which was beautiful, the paintings were a little expensive and so weere some of the other merchandise from the vendors on the side of the roads but they were pretty. there is a nice little information booth right next to the backside of the architecture, it was very helpful if you had any questions regarding tours or anything like that.

What an amazing church,saw it from our bus tour through Barcelona. Google it and you'll learn more about this church wich is very old and will be build finished in 2026.

This is a place that is a must-see in Barcelona. We bought tickets in advance online, there are a choice of tickets with a visit to the towers, but we took the most basic ones. It is important to come at that time which on the ticket. The best time to visit is sunset and we were inside during sunset and the sun was shining very beautifully on the stained glass windows. Just opposite the main entrance (old building) there is a park where you can make beautiful photos

Buy tickets online to save time. I definitely recommend to go up to the Passion or Nativity tower to get a beautiful view of Barcelona. If you are in the church around 7pm you have access to the Crypt which is amazing as well and see where Gaudi was buried.

Always a delight to see this magnificent structure. A truly must see if you are in Barcelona! Still in contribution obviously and can t wait to see the final completion in 2026.

Awesome visit. Huge cathedral that is still under construction. Modern and old styles joined. Best to reserve your tickets on line. We showed up at 1100 am and had to wait for a 2:15 PM time slot. Was worth the wait. Do the museum at the end!

A very beautiful modern arquitectonic marvel, I loved the inside the idea of a forest, the light the sculptures and how well it is maintained while still in construction. I do not recommend the visit to the towers.

Words and photos really can't do it justice. I'd gladly pay to go back again just weeks later, which says a lot about how much I enjoyed it. Make sure to go through the museum after visiting thr main building.

This place a story and an adventure. Emotional is the minimum, awe-inspiring too. To feel the love and passion the people here feel for this place is breathtaking, as are the incredible ways in which nature and faith have inspired this creation.

Beautiful. I wouldn't miss La Sagrada Familia. It's a must-see. Of course, if you're into culture and history. Make sure you read a bit before going because the history behind this place is amazing!

Absolutely stunning and well worth a visit. We did the tower as well, not for the faint hearted as it is high and has narrow steps. You need to allow half a day to get the full benefit. Please note you must cover you shoulders ladies.

Not much else to add that this is a very unique structure and I hear it's even more interesting on the inside with the stain glass windows and the vast array of scattering coloured light... However 17 was a little steep.

Unforgettable. If there is one experience in Barcelona that you must undertake, it is a tour of LA Sagrada Familia. I was fortunate enough to spend some time here with a travelling buddy, and we were awed by the architecture and the light show that was caused by the stained glass on the marble floors. Then we were able to get a ticket upstairs for a front row seat to the Barcelona view. This is a truly remarkable place and I will recommend it to every traveller until the day I die.

Make it a bucket list item. Antoni Gaudi's gift to humanity. Take the audio tour to learn about the essence of the basilica. I had chills just walking through the halls and felt God's presence.

It was a beautiful and thrilling experience! Had an excellent audio tour that was included in the cost of the ticket to enter. Was not able to do the tower tour due to being closed for maintenance. Was still great and the "thing" to do in Barcelona. Walked up to from the Columbus tower!

One of the most memorable places we went on out trip to Barcelona. Totally worth the trip by train. Dont buy the expensive ticket to get in just go before the sunset to get the best view of the inside stain glass windows. It is really spectacular.

Must see! Amazing light show inside and it is definitely worth to pay 25 . Take the Audioguide as it has a lot of information on the story the building and the art on it says. I'll be back definitely to see it in the morning. During the day the sun wanders and the light inside changes!

A unique style of Antony Gaudi.More you see this man's work more you will fall in love with him.Giant entrance with amazingly sculpted wall are very beautiful.Interior is marvelous too.Great use of Colors on glasses and sunlight effects are stunning.

I've been following the building of the Sagrada Familia since inwas a kid and I was very happy to see how far it's made it (I last saw it from the outside 9yrs ago and inside 17yrs ago).
A magnificent architectonic beauty. I love stained glass and these won't dissapoint once you see the beauty they create once the light hits them...
