I couldn't quite get a read on this place...guess I didn't spend enough time here in college...
Rentable study rooms, lots of computers, printers, copiers, library staff that do right by students. Coffee shop access both inside and out. Silent floor offers focused space.
Hot and stuffy.....and hard to use the bathrooms in the morning..... Because of bad bathroom design...... And lots of people use the bathroom in the morning....so you have to go to the next floor to get a sit down toilet..but don't just stand there and wait..like a doosh bag dork....and the Wi-Fi does not work in 70% of the library....... And if you are sitting right under the Wi-Fi thing....its still slow....
The library has quiet, secluded places for studying. The staff is polite and helpful. You don't have to be an OSU student to use the library or to get a library card- just an Oregon resident.
Librarians very helpful, amazing inventory of items to check out
Nice place to work, but gets very crowded around finals
Great hours and very nice inside. If you want quiet, you can easily find it.
Great place to study if you don't want to be distracted at home. 6th and 1st floors are usually the emptiest and most quiet
Good place to study 24 hours. Don't make noise on the 6th floor!
Total lifesaver, especially during the summer. It is kind of hard to study when your house is 80 degrees and up. I actually woke up at 3 to study for my last final today and made the immediate decision to come here since, even at 3 am, my house still hadn't cooled down below 80. I will say that summer hours are different from the rest of the year, so check if you plan on coming early, especially on the weekends.
Best place to study or do homework. Might be hard to find an empty table during finals week.
My grandchild had a great time going to school here. He learned lots of things and even found himself a boyfriend. Much love and respect for this school and the hard work of their students and professors
it's the library. it's the place to study. always lit out here
Excellent - a beautiful space to study in.
At the time of writing this, temporarily open by reservation only, Mon-Sat 10am-5pm, though it changes from time to time as a function of OR State restrictions.
Great for studying and taking naps when it's raining.
Best study stop on campus. There are areas to have quite studying but also spots where you can talk and study in groups. The large number of computers is great, I've never had to wait for one. There is also a cafe downstairs, which makes is a plus!
Open late (with the coffee shop as a food option), lots of study space, impressive collection, and very helpful staff. One of the best and most central places on campus.
It's always quite and there's room for group or individual studying.
too many days and nights spent here.
one of the best libraries i've ever been to.
Best place to study. Heads down and working environment. People understand the rules and are super co-operative. Staff is fantastic. The books if not available the staff will make sure you are notified when it is. Returning books also super simple. Love the drop box feature they have outside the library. Saves a lot of time.
