Orange Tree Golf Resort Review

Food was great. The air conditioning left a lot to be desired.

My husband and I stayed her for a week and really enjoyed it. The place is nice and clean with cosy little apartment atmosphere. I would stay her again if in the Phoenix area.

Hosted a baby shower for my daughter. Beautiful setting. Great food and service..

We walked into a beautiful area of Scottsdale with very nice grounds. When we walked in to test the place for a future site for a wedding on a lovely Sunday afternoon, we walked into a lobby business office rather than an beautiful entranceway. The restaurant only had a few people. We had a nice table by the window. After getting our drinks, we did not see the waitress again so after 15 minutes we decided to leave and pay our tab. When we got to the bar counter one person was complaining about how they can screw up a BLT sandwich and another party was wondering why with so few people was it taking so long to get their food. My fiancee pointed out that the menu was boring and if they had no imagination for their menu we should not have our wedding there. I agreed as we walked out. A damn shame because it is so beautiful a location

Nice resort but dated. No cook top in rooms and parking is poor.

Limited menus and amenities, but a good value proposition.

Everything there is great. Absolutely everyone is friendly and the resort is clean top to bottom. The rooms have a ton of room and are comfortable. Will stay again.

Hidden gem! Great venue for small conferences with sleeping accommodations. Beautiful landscaping and well maintained golf course provide perfect backdrop for photos and create quaint setting.

The Orange Tree Golf Resort is a cozy and very clean place and its staff are usually very friendly.

On a positive note, the rooms are nice. However, the resort firmly enforces you to use their bell hops. Also, if you are assigned a room in units 5 or higher, there's no parking near the room. Now you're back to utilizing bell hops to get you to your rooms via golf cart (if you are trying to haul items and or for the elder population).

I have visited this resort many times through the years. Staff has always been informed, pleasant, accommodating and most importantly flexible. Rooms are spacious, solid, secure, and quiet. Nuff said..

The rooms are updated. Down side is there isn't a stove or microwave to cook.

The unit was nice and clean. The staff was exceptional! The units do not have ovens or dishwashers.

Played round of golf and i practice at there facility at least once a week, one of the best courses in phoenix.

The outside space is kept up and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, but we miss the old Shell Vacations Club hospitality. Room was spacious but loud. Upstairs noise and outside noise came right in. Perhaps a 2nd floor room would be preferable. Parking for the property stops at building 3. I don't mind walking, I'm a runner after all, but if you're in building 7, you have quite a ways to haul your luggage and belongings.

The people at the desk were so friendly and helpful, the bellpeople took me right to my building and my room is gorgeous. I could not be more satisfied with my choice to stay here!

I would highly recommend this place the hospitality is far beyond what I imagined and its one of the nicer places I have stayed very clean and well worth the price

Attended a school awards dinner. Staff was friendly but the food was absolutely horrible. Chicken parmesan with alfredo noodles. The tomato sauce tasted like an off brand ketchup and the noodles had the texture and blandness of cardboard.

Customer service is awesome. The on site dining could be better

We saw a dinner theater show at the orange tree. All of the people who worked at the orange tree were extremely helpful and polite. I would definitely go back there.

Outdated and over priced. If you are looking to hold an event....keep on looking.

Very nice rooms. We stayed by the pool and it was perfect for us. Did not golf but the course looked well maintained.

Good event space at a reasonable cost. The catering offers lesser quality food than expected.

Spacious, sprawling, quiet, well manicured grounds. Staff was very receptive and responsive. Could use a bar at the pool area.

The overall experience was great the only thing that I would recommend is when there is event have more parking available for guests arriving. I was able to obtain parking but a lot of my associates or not they had to park over in the subdivision across the street.

Beautiful resort, landscaping was very nice, lovely course, excellent customer service. Went to Orange Tree for golf because the course we wanted to play on was overseeding. What a nice discovery!

The course was in great shape. It is also wide open with wider fairways then we are accustomed here in AZ.

It was ok for prom, I blame the student council for being cheap however.

Absolutely top tier place to stay in Scottsdale if you like value. Helpful staff, great rooms and facilities, great price. I loved my stay here.

Fun course. Lots of bunkers. Trust me, I was in half of them.

Wide open layout, interesting holes. For August in Phoenix, the greens and fairways were in very good shape

Just remodel. Its a good place to stay. Good rooms and nice space on them. Good amenities.
But there is not enough space for parking in a lot of areas.

Sparse fairways. Had to move the balls that were in prime position in the fairway 5-10 feet to find a decent spot where you weren't hitting off a bare patch of earth. Greens were sanded and verti-cut so pitches and short shots weren't holding. Putts were bouncing offline. There was no warning in the clubhouse that the conditions were the way they were.

Very 1970s retro. Not a lot of natural ambience. The grass is nice, but it seems that after a certain point, the grounds, and especially the sidewalks, are unkept.

Great customer service. Beautiful resort and suites, located very close to all shopping and restaurants. Also close to Camelback Mountain. Highly recommend!

I did not stay at the resort, was only there to golf. Therefore I cannot comment on the resort itself. The course was well maintained especially considered it is the middle of the summer and Phoenix.

So far everything is great. I just wish that the doors separating the bedroom and living room were solid not slats.

Lovely views, rooms are nice and service is great. Can't ask for much more.

Went to private activity. Food wasn't very good. Had to pay $3.00 for a cup of coffee it wasn't part of the dinner.

Murder mystery dinner , drink prices not posted extremely expensive $$$$. Public Restrooms were far away , food was average, no option for allergies.

Spent the weekend here celebrating my wifes birthday and WE couldn't be any happier! Huge whirlpool tubs, great golf course view from our covered balcony, and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back!

I did not stay in a room there only played on their Golf Course but my experience was still great the people we're very helpful with my bags getting them on the cart and they had a reasonable afternoon rate
