Orange Tree Golf Resort Review

Fun course for a rather inexpensive afternoon round of 18. Greens in good shape but rough and the bunkers need better maintenance. Be prepared to wait with this round lasting 4.5 hours

The rooms were beautiful, they make you feel at home. Staff is very nice, they give you a free gift if you are a card holder or first time stayer. It would have been nice to have a stove though. The golf course looked well maintained, and the pool was warm, and decent sized. The bellhops, Randall and Jonny were very helpful getting the bags to the condominium. The lobby was beautiful, and centrally located in the establishment. Fry's Food and Drug is right down the street, so you do not have to go far for groceries. I highly recommend this resort.

They should have let us know they are not affiliated with the golf course, facilities and restaurant. Moreover housekeeping is extra.

Excellent rooms. The only negative is the parking. You may have to walk over 100 yards to get your room. There is a golf cart shuttle but it's often inconvenient and maybe not available you need it.

This is an older resort that is well maintained. The staff seems to go out of their way to make guests as comfortable and welcome as we were. Well done.

Nice resort style property with very reasonable prices. The suites are terrific with a kitchenette, a nice living/dining room and a large bathroom. Good for extended stays. The staff is very helpful and tries to ensure you are comfortable. Only negative was the noise from the street, which is a little disruptive when you sit on the balcony, but again you are paying a reasonable rate. The pool is well maintained, but bring the towel from your room :-)

Very roomy, nice patio, very clean, stocked with everything we needed, given rides to pool via golf cart with quick response times, friendly staff, good location.

This resort is absolutely amazing. The service is beyond spectacular and my room was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean and full of amenities. I had a beautiful view of the golf course.

The golf course isn't bad, they're remolding some areas which was needed. The neighborhood is great. I've also had good experiences with the food and lounge after a round.

Murder and a meal was awesome show. The cast and crew were great as well as our table mates. Good food worth every "penny". The resort staff were also helpful.

Went to business training and the wifi wasn't great. The space and lunch were fabulous, however.

I went to play golf and the greens were very well taken care of.

We loved our time here at this resort. We chose to stay close to the pool which means we had more of a walk from the parking lot but we were advised of this up front and were happy with our decision. Wonderful one bedroom suites with huge bathrooms which were great for me and my girlfriends when getting ready. Incredibly nice staff and would love to return one day!

Very pleasant staff and better surroundings than most resorts. The golf course is great layout with awesome shade. Food is outstanding in the bar and they host events like weddings all day everyday.

Visited this place for a murder mystery diner and it was a pretty nice place. The lobby is was very nice and well kept. The staff was very friendly and always opened the door for you to enter and leave.

Overall very pleased with my week stay here. I came out from Ohio and got a suit here with my boyfriend. The grounds were kept up nice and clean. House keeping did/does a great job. The front desk people are great, super helpful, very kind and friendly. The grounds people were friendly as well and happy to help with any need we had the week we were there! We will definitely be back in the near future for another stay!

It was beautiful, nice course. I had a difficult time lining up a golf cart to get my items to the tee where I was a sponsor for the day. James was great helping me even though he was being pulled in a hundred directions.

Exceptional three night stay! Huge suites, with everything you need. Loved the place! So many amenities and extremely clean.

I was there for two nights. Overall it was a nice stay.
Pros:The staff was great. The golf was inexpensive. The Resort is around the corner from some decent restaurants.
Cons: The only negatives I took away are the rooms are kind of dated. They are more like small Condos. There's no housekeeping unless you make arrangements prior to check-in. The parking is not great. There are no drapes so plan to have early morning start to your day

Absolutely love this hotel. The room was so clean, spacious and we'll laid out. Service and staff are wonderful. We will definitely come back and bring the kids.

Awesome place! Rooms were amazing, and clean. Living room/ kitchen, huge bathroom with shower and whirlpool bath. Bedroom. Back porch. There's also free guest laundry and a very nice pool and golf course. The staff are all so friendly, will pick you up on golf cart and take you to the laundry room or pool and back, bring you whatever you should need. Felt very safe. Close to stores.

Great potential! We all felt this Resort is missing out on a great opportunity by not having the restaurant and bar open.
At 5:34pm on Friday evening this resort was a ghost town. Great golfing! ... but nothing for us after a round. Those people in walking distance would come as well and help create a spectacular neighborhood gathering!

There for a business meeting. A meeting room was reserved with good. The chicken was average. What they called ribeye was definitely a meat of some sort. Staff was very courteous and professional. Meeting rooms were in good condition and large.

I only came to golf, in the middle of summer, in the afternoon. Despite this, the staff was still curteous and friendly. The other golfers were also very respectful. The course itself is pretty manageable with not too many sand or water hazards to set you back. The greens were remarkably green for August. Well maintained course for the most part.

Unfortunately calling this a RESORT is using poetic license, a Hotel is more like it. It would've been nice of prior to Booking, the Orange Tree would've had FULL DISCLOSURE, like the fact that the Golf Course was shut down ( over seeding) or that the Restaurant was also not open, nor the Starbucks...Dated Property with a dirty Gym ( if you call it that) I believe they own the first ever Stair Master, limited weights,no universal machine, what a joke. The "Fitness Center" at the Motel 6 would be better just to give you perspective. There were no activities and a skeleton crew working the property, when we inquired about any food on site, they said " Well Domino's delivers or there is always Uber Eats" not my idea of Resort Living...Very disappointed as the staff is conditionally and robotic-ally trained to just default to "I'm Sorry" that must be part of their training responses..They get a One Star because the rooms were actually nice, clean and comfortable but otherwise this property is in a time warp from the late 70's, ADVICE: Book Elsewhere

Not too shabby for the rate I got it nice and quiet location plenty of amenities the room I got did almost look like a studio loft with a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave, small stove, glassware plates etc nice and private pool also plenty of landscape location is convenient and easy to drive around

We are repeat visitors to the Orange Tree. Very nice rooms and an enjoyable golf course. Location close to shopping and visitor sites.

Lovely place, beautifully landscaping, and staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Felt right at home, reasonable pricing, extremely helpful yet laid-back Steph, non-intrusive, very very very much I would recommend this to anyone who can use a little bit of relaxation time without the busyness and attitudes of every day life and people up there in the world, this is a total hideaway a great place

Clean rooms, helpful front desk and bell staff. We did not golf.

My networking group is held there every week. Great place overall and the staff are always friendly.

Good weekend vacation. Parking was far from condo but they had bell hops to help with transportation and luggage.

If you want Paradise in the desert Orange Tree Resort is the place to go too. There is peace and quiet everywhere. The room's are spotless and spacious and the service is prompt and courteous. Complimentary items are available upon your request from Crock-Pot ,electric skillet ,tea kettle to box fan ,sewing kits to vanity kits you name it they have it the walks around the property are soothing to the soul and comfort to the heart and at any time. Call the front desk and the porter with his golf golf cart is more than happy to take you wherever you need to go on the property will continue to return it is proper time and again

Was a nice place. No water pressure in shower and Blake stuff came out of jacuzzi tub.

10/10 the best things was customer service. We were treated so well and the staff are polite and helpful . It s very relaxing and clean .. rooms are extremely spacious. Just was all around a good trip

Nice rooms even better bathrooms. Pool and hot tub are far away depending on where you stay.

Attended networking meeting early mornings. Food was good, staff was friendly and the venue was clean and nice.

The course is iffy, depending on the year but always a fun track to play. Not difficult, pretty flat, but fun.

Nice place to stay, but keep away from their "education pitch" for the resort and associated vacations club. I cannot begin to tell you my disappointment with our "education" experience, another high pressure 90 minutes by a pair of sales people. The first guy did the "education" pitch and then handed us over to his partner, who then promoted the resorts vacation club with the usual timeshare salesman routine, a hallmark of what makes the industry so untrustworthy. It violated the tenets of what we were told at our resort intake by the concierge desk...this was only to be an education session because "our" site it not likes the others and Wyndham "promised" our experience would NOT be high-pressured. Well, it was and we will never stay at any of their properties again. Trust is important to us, and they violated it.

Good golf course, wide open. The real reason I'm definitely going back is that I left my wallet in the cart. The following morning I want back and they had my wallet, all credit cards and cash. I trust these guys and will definitely be going back. Thanks for looking out for your golfers!!!!

Stayed at this resort recently. Had some jewelry disappear from a bed stand in our unit. Through their security staff and their insurers the response was basically "too bad", "can't help you". Parking is horrible at this place as well. They have events at the resort, including weddings and golf tournaments that make it impossible for guests at the resort to park. Would not go there again.

Always have great service and super people working the front desk! Years of service and the place still looks new!

Have been coming here for 7 years perfect place for a good golf holiday

Played 12-13-17. Greens are in great condition and putting true. Pace of play was great. 3 hours and 50 min. Bunkers are in much better condition than previous years.

I was at a professional event. Our meeting room was spacious and comfortable. The employees were friendly and competent.

Played golf only...good course in mid Scottsdale..Phoenix..staff was attentive.

Dinner and a murder theatre was an absolute blast. The Orange Tree Resort was the perfect venue and the services was amazing.

It's a time share and not a hotel so no daily maid service. It's roomy rooms but not luxurious. Comfortable is a good adjective

This is one of the finest resorts that we have been at with our timeshare points, if not the very finest. The apartment is huge, clean, pretty and even has a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, even driving us back and forth whenever they see us walking around with my husband's cane. We will definitely return here.

Location was beautiful. Never an issue that management couldn't fix.
