I was in between finding a really good agency to be represented by. I got an interview with a different one and had some time to think about whether or not I wanted to be apart of that agency.
Then I got a call from Orange models asking if I can come in for an interview. I came on time for my appointment and they took around 30 minutes to finally get to me. I met with one of their agents and to be honest, I didn't get a great comfortable vibe. Either way, I thought Orange Model Management was the real deal and thought it would be an honor to be apart of this agency. My agent didn't give me time to think about whether or not I should join them. I was told "Okay, I need you to meet with our photographer tomorrow to get your headshots done, we only have slots available tomorrow."
Super short notice! I told him I had work tomorrow and I was already getting my headshot/portfolio shots done by a professional photographer in Toronto that week anyways (They were only charging me $300 at this place, which is what I could afford)
My agent said "We prefer you to get the photos by someone we know, if you really want this, you would go tomorrow and do whatever you can to get out of your shift tomorrow."
I felt super pressured and said yes. The agent charged me almost $700 for the photography session right in that interview! I didn't have that money and dug right into my savings for it! Which is weird, Agents shouldn't charge you anything, in the contract, it says that the agency covers cost of portfolio shoot -.-
Fast forward to a couple of months later. I heard NOTHING from my agent, got no auditions or calls or anything. I called my agent wanting my edits for my headshots because I haven't even seen the final! and he said he would send them (He sounded in a rush) and I had to follow up almost everyday for around a week or two until I called the receptionist at Orange Models and demanded my edits. I finally got like 6 of them from the receptionist via email. Its been almost a year now, still haven't heard anything from anyone regarding auditions, wasn't represented at all for anything, paid $700 for meh headshots that I don't even use.

Don't waste your time, its a scam. I wish I haven't made the mistake of joining Orange Models. If an agency makes you feel pressured, demands money from you right away without giving you time to think about it, run.

Orange Model Management has been an absolute amazing experience to be with. For me Orange is the Best Agency. The team cares about your well-being, is very accommodating and was able to get me out working right away.

Yes..SCAM. Offered a contract on the spot and scheduled the photoshoot but did NOT give money right then and there to T as he wants to be called. I've tried several times to contact him since we met 3 weeks ago. He will not return my e mails or phone calls. Joke! Glad I didn't give him !! On his business cards his name is: Tipu Bhatti senior agent. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

Their good reviews are most likely fake, as it s the worst agency I ve ever worked with. Sneaky and selfish!

I ve been with Orange for over 5 years. They have been great at providing me auditions, and I am very thrilled with the resume that I ve been able to create and continue to grow.

Could not have had a greater experience with this agency and the fantastic people within it!

My children are with Orange. I can honestly say that if it's a scam well then they are doing a really bad job at it. I have only been asked for initial sign up of $250/child. That's the usually rate that I have encountered. I haven't been asked to pay for any professional pictures. Part of the reason I liked them bc i dont believe that you should have to pay ridiculous amounts of money for a photo shoot when you, the agency, are the only ones who require those photos. Aside from that, I am not required to pay to renew our contract. So who are they scamming exactly? Sorry. I just have not had a bad experience.

I been in the industry for 15 years worked with different agencies. So far i can say Orange is one of the great agency i have worked with.

Seriously when i see that agency never got me work they should educate themselves agency cannot get you a job they can only get you auditions. I am with Orange for almost two years for me things are going good and no complaints.

Well, I would really love to work with good agency in Toronto, but I am not going to pay money for that, on my opinion agency should not ask you for money . If somebody is really interested to work with you, they would never ask you to pay any fees.

In Toronto, Orange Model is notoriously known for asking $400 -$500 portfolio payed by the model to get their modeling gig started. That's a SCAM. Agency will invest in that money for you because they see a potential in you as a model who will generate profits and revenue for the company. So don't be naive to fall for model recruiting when Orange is around ;)

I m not a customer of this agency , I have two kids they model and act with different agency o came across this agency and I wanted to check their reviews .
I noticed a lot of people are complaining about the upfront fee , and some people saying that a good agency would never charge a fee ! WRONG ! Every agency charge a fee to interview your child and take head shots ! If your child or you have no Talent then do not except for the hardest industry to kiss your bottom ! These agencies they pay top dollar for the photographers and their employee and building and business experiences .

All agencies they tell you before you pay that there is no guarantee to get accepted and get jobs ! If you don t agree to it then don t pay it upfront ! Don t pay for it then start complaining because you don t have a Talent ! Money DONT BUY YOU TALENT !

I have been working with Orange Models and Talent for two years and have been so happy with the whole team. I am a trained actor and through Orange I have done some great commercial work, as well as a view modelling jobs. Modelling was not something I had ever considered before, and being given the opportunity allowed me to think about my career in a whole new light, as well as boost my self-esteem and confidence. I had given myself the goal of getting on TV last year, and I'm so proud to say that I was able to do that, thanks to Orange. They are a supportive team, and I have always felt well represented.

this company preys on minors and people with "dreams" they dont even answer the phone Orange Models, just hello, they take advantage of people, they took $300 from a friend of mines minor son when the total required is $520 now they refuse to return the money! does they sound like a thriving prestigious modelling agency?? save you time, your money and your effort.

They are one of Toronto's most professional agency! Almost every agency will charge you for something. Yeah sorry to break it to you but, agencies are not going to sign you because its your dream to model or act! This is business at the end of the day! Good Luck!

Orange is a top-rate and highly professional agency.

The people are what make modeling and talent agencies tick, and the staff there is knowledgeable and skilled in the industry--specifically in Toronto.

This agency is the worst!!! I have been with them for a year now and I didn t even get one job.The only thing they are good at is taking your money and sending you fake offers! Save your money and time people. Such a waste agency.(trash)

A proper agency will NEVER charge you money up front. They make money when you make money, this ensures they actually put in the work for you. They can of course suggest certain photographers, but forcing you to go with a specific one for an outrageous price is just disgusting

I have been working as a model with Orange for years. They have been an absolute pleasure to work for throughout the years. Great communication between models and agents. Always submitting models to clients. They are hard working and a kind group of people. I couldn't ask for a better agency.

My daughter has been a part of Orange for about 7 months and I have to say we have been very pleased with the experience. I would recommend Orange to any aspiring model.

If I didn't have to give at least one star, I wouldn't have. You'll sit on a shelf with the rest of the hopefuls with this agency. They have no idea what they're doing and will ask you for money up front. They're a COMPLETE SCAM. There's a reason why they have a a horrible reputation.

I am really glad signing up wit Orange Models after wasting my time and money with other two agencies in last 5 years.

In simple words i am loving my ride with Orange Models quite a few auditions and booked one job in two months. Not bad i am really grateful for their efforts.

Will be short and up to the point! Me and my son have been with Orange just almost for a year! So far so good! Have no idea about them charging people $700, but you do get charged one time accounting fee for $250 per person! If you have professional digital head shots, they provide hard copies of them at no charge and cover breakdown service fees to submit you for the projects. Cannot speak for other people, but they do work and hustle for me and my son as we have auditions for different projects on a regular basis and with reputable casting agencies like JigSaw, Powerhouse, Milestones and many other. If you doubt their work, always can request your submission report from the agency and they will gladly provide it to You. We get contacted with availability requests, audition requests and other questions not only weekly, but sometimes even on a daily basis. That is how hard they work for the right talent! If they cannot get hold of you trough the email, Your phone will ring instantly. Me and my son had callbacks from auditions and have booked jobs and of course got paid! So...just be right talent, be responsible , show up, replay ASAP, pick up the phone, do not regret auditions and do not be late and you will get fantastic treatment! Just be right talent!

SCAM! Dont give them your money, they charge you rediculous fees that are not required by ACTUAL agencies.
