Really nice pub. It's situated in old church, but the style inside is very nice and comfy. You have there wide choice of alcohol and good staff. It's interesting and whenever you are nearby it's worth to step for a drink.

One of the best landmarks in glasgow, right on the doors of botanic gardens, and sits on the mighty Great Western Road, (which will take u all the way to Inverness). Oran Mor, has some good theatre plays and gigs, also a fine bar and danicing club. Chill with a wee beer in the front garden area and all is good.

Very lively, full of movement and a bit noisy place just once every Saturday or Friday meeting with friends where you can have some fun listening to music and try really delicious dishes ...

This is a very tastefully converted church into bar, resteraunt, wedding venue and much more. There are multiple levels with ground floor being a whisky bar and restaurant. They had just put the Xmas decorations and done a beautiful job. They are currently doing both standard menu and Christmas menu. I opted for some very traditional fare and both starter and main were fantastic. Cullen skink for starter, a smooth creamy soup with smoked fish and potato, very generous portion and very flavoursome. Main was Haggis, Neeps and tatties, very tasty and again generous portions. The staff were great and made sure we had a good time and a special thank you to the Yorkshire lass for taking extra time to make us feel welcome. Prices are excellent and the food worth every penny. We will be back next time we're up in Glasgow. The photos do not do it justice but a flavour.

The running of the plays are a joke logistically. When downstairs at the venue it is basically a free for all. People leaving coats and bags on seats and returning to the que whilst anyone near front is left with the poorer seating areas. Perhaps if staff did not allow this free for all it would lead to a much better experience.

This venue has lots to offer. From a bar serving pub food to a night club, theatre and wedding venue. Had food here for the first time (burger with the peppercorn sauce) was lovely! Wide range of drinks and interesting deco as in an old church.

Was here for a play a pie and a pint. It was the summer panto and it was brilliant! A great way to spend your afternoon and catch up with a friend. Don't leave it too close to start time though or there won't be any decent seats left!

Good place in the west end if you are in the pub or the club. Open late and normally busy but quick service. Nice venue for groups or couples. Small pockets of seating around the place and good ambiance. Recommended if in the area.

As a music venue, this place is very enjoyable. Because of its size, it creates a bond between the performers and the audience with that feeling of intimacy. Like most music venues, trying to get served at a busy bar is not always the easiest. However, this is a great venue for live performances.

Delicious food in a hip location. The atmosphere here was clubby, but not so much that you couldn't enjoy dinner and drinks with friends. My party of four enjoyed our food for the most part. One dining companion had steak pie that was underwhelming and not that hot. Two of us had the haggis burger, which we agreed was delicious, and our fourth had the chicken burger, which he gave rave reviews. We had some drinks and enjoyed our meal and hanging out. Very arty and hip.

The home of a play, a pie and a pint. An excellent venue where you will mix with locals as well as actors, authors, directors etc. Don't be surprised to be sitting beside someone you are sure you have seen somewhere before - then realise they are a well known TV presenter. My only complain was a bit too cramped at a first class play so get along early to get a good spot.

We visited here as an early Christmas pressie from my sister-in-law for a play about the Lisbon Lions (Glasgow Celtic's European Cup winning team). The play itself was very funny and most enjoyable. The location was definitely different to anywhere I have been before, with individual seats placed in rows, probably seating a couple of hundred people at a guess. There is a bar at the back so it's possible to have a drink (or two) whilst the show is on, something which is not too common in my experience. Overall, it was a good night, but the seats could never be described as comfortable, hence a star knocked off.

The fact that it was an old church already does almost everything, it has a lot of charm. Besides that everything is well cared for and there is friendly treatment from the staff. The only downside perhaps is a somewhat short menu of food and the staff a bit distracted at times.

Really big bar at end of byers road food very good and staff pleasant. We went round the corner to the basement of oran mor for a theatre play of the butterfly kiss which was excellent and the cast was hugely talented all in a great night out

Amazing venue! Besides having a surreal decoration and architecture, this place has very interesting cultural events. I had the opportunity to visit on my birthday and witness an alternative theatrical version of Moby Dick, during an event called: On foot, a pint, and a play ... The staff were very friendly and certainly a memorable time in Glasgow. Without a doubt a highly recommended place!

The bread was too old to be served, dry and hard and the soup of the day was entirely blunt, just blended canned peas with vegetable stock put in the microwave. The pizza was tasteless and the customer service rude and unhelpful. Just don't go there.
