We decided to go to a show to see what it was like and we had an amazing time. We didn't realize that the seats on the upper levels mostly have boxes that seat 5 and are at an angle. The front two seats see over the edge and the others are behind so the views aren't great but it is an original look for a theatre. The show we saw with a guest conductor and violinist was just beautiful. Well worth the price in our opinion.

The Teatro alla Scala in Milan is a place known all over the world, requested and appreciated by the best conductors. Seeing him, as a mere spectator of any work or ballet, the first impression is something unique as a splendor of furniture and construction that many of you will surely have known appreciated. But seeing him behind the scenes working internally (as an external firm) gave me the opportunity to see also how the activity of those who work there every day, whether as a master or as an artist, takes place. The musical instruments used and carefully stored, the painter who remodels a scene, the mask that is prepared to welcome guests. .... well, a review would not be enough, it would take a book! I like to think that other theaters in Italy are so "alive" too. A living culture!

My wife and I were at La Scala for the first time: a fantastic place to listen to music and see the works of our wonderful musicians represented.
The charm that this wonderful theater exudes is indescribable.

The theater museum is not bad. The only thing that does not include access to the theater itself that can only be done by paying for a guided tour, only in English and Italian, which I find a bit expensive. 25 per person. The normal entry without a guided tour seems a bit expensive for what it offers in exchange, 9 per person.

This theatre is amazing to be in such grandeur you are swallowed back in time a spectacular experience, Have just been to see Opera Chovancina Turno Prime, Its a Russian opera which revolves around personal dramas and political and religious conflict. i found it difficult to follow at times, and prefer lighter topics.
But the atmosphere was magic in this wonderful theatre

The Theater..La Scala is the Theater..also seen from outside it is a show and, in the attached shop you can find records, books, videos and much more which, those who love Art must not do without.
In addition to the courtesy and professionalism of the staff, La Scala would have to be lived at least once

Seeing an opera in the Scala of Milan has been on my bucket list for so long.
It was hard to get tickets, but in the end we made it to Giulio Cesare part 1!
The place is very beautiful and I definitely recommend the visit.
If you had to compare this opera house to the one in Munich or Berlin on the other hand, I'd say that there is room for improvement when it comes to the organisation. There were no tables for the break and you have to queue up for your prosecco...

We visited the museum and the exhibition dedicated to Maria Callas then a stop inside the boxes to listen to the orchestra's rehearsals, there is no denying that the theater has an incredible charm!

From outside it is majestic! At night it is very impressive ... it would be nice to visit it, which unfortunately I have not ever done. I enjoy the reviews of those who instead went to some nice event. Congratulations!

Fascinating place for all opera and non-opera lovers. The place deserves to be seen only for the historical charm it has. The visit to the museum allows a view of the interior of one of the most famous theaters in the world as well as a quick journey through props, instruments, portraits and period costumes and posters.

I went to the main office in duomo , waited 30 mins to talk to gentleman. Advised me I could get tickets cheaper by going to opera house at 5pm. Waited there for almost two hours. Tickets were in second row and had no view. Lots of empty seats with no view.
What a waste of time. Terrible booking system, I'd avoid.

Always magical to attend a ballet at La Scala. The atmosphere is unique! It is not the first time that I go to La Scala, however, every time we are enthusiastic. The stage then allows you to be enveloped even more by the charm of La Scala. Choose a stage not too lateral.
