One of the most famous places in Milan in the world. It is a symbol of the city, at least once in your life you have to enter it and watch an opera. There are a large variety of shows some also suitable for children. Inside it is obviously wonderful and very charming

Guided tour + entrance to the museum ... beautiful experience it's worth it!

Great story, today reduced a little 'bad due to modest productions. The exterior is rather dim but the interior makes it one of the most beautiful theaters in the world (it is not by chance that it is due to a great set designer, who has decorated the boxes with simple golden papier-mache) even though the recent renovation made it a bit 'poorer (wooden floor or tile instead of the sumptuous red carpet) and worsened a bit' the acoustics of the rest not perfect even before. Magnificent Venetian chandelier, austere and elegant grisaille decoration that has restored the damage of the bombing of the last war. Much criticized outside the Botta tower which in my opinion is not so bad, there is a lot worse.

I saw an afternoon show Elisir d'amore, a lyric opera for children.

One of the most famous opera houses in the world and one of the biggest in italy. Mesmerising and beautifully decorated with amazing acoustics and nice box views and state of the art screens. Highly recommended to watch a show and enjoy the full spectacle.

Magnificent theater and above all a magnificent chandelier! :)

Brilliant performance (Don Carlo opera). Perfect acoustics. Recommend sitting in the 1st row in the boxes. Individual cloakrooms for visitors.

A beautiful theater. We came across German art, but there are inscriptions next to the seat. Expensive tickets, but experiences worth the money.

Returning to Piazza della Scala in Milan is always suggestive. Today then, December 7th, even more beautiful.

The building is not special, but the interior overwhelms you with its history. Starting with the access on the stairs where the posters with the premieres of Verdi's works are exhibited and ending with the theater museum. I saw the impressive hall, I also saw the army of people working on a set for a future show. In the hall there is a model with the components of the theater. It's interesting to study!

Old glory, there is no investment in culture either ... pity
