Great story, today reduced a little 'bad due to modest productions. The exterior is rather dim but the interior makes it one of the most beautiful theaters in the world (it is not by chance that it is due to a great set designer, who has decorated the boxes with simple golden papier-mache) even though the recent renovation made it a bit 'poorer (wooden floor or tile instead of the sumptuous red carpet) and worsened a bit' the acoustics of the rest not perfect even before. Magnificent Venetian chandelier, austere and elegant grisaille decoration that has restored the damage of the bombing of the last war. Much criticized outside the Botta tower which in my opinion is not so bad, there is a lot worse.
