As far as location goes, it is great and can't really be beaten for its views. The addition of the water misters on the umbrellas is perfect on hot afternoons. Good range of food with options for dietary requirements. The cost of beers and ciders is the only down side for Opera Bar, not a full size schooner for the price.

THE place to take your guests from out of town, doesn't get more iconic than this! Always incredibly crowded, you will struggle for a tiny place to sit. Order at the bar. There's always that rude person who will just shovel you on the side and order first, and you have to fight to get the bartenders attention.. go early in the day!

My favorite place on earth, along with 1000 other people. Always busy but thats ok, the view makes up for it!

Such a fun bar near the opera house! You get to enjoy live music on the weekend! Plus it's not a rip off

Beautiful place to have a drink, just sucks having to pay the obvious tourist tax on every beer you order, $15 for a can of Balter seems a bit steep.

Such quick & fab service! Food came out within 10 mins of ordering on a busy Saturday night. No need to line up / pay for your order, everything comes to you at your table... Definitely recommend!

Nice place. Very nice. It is just right for a good rest. Have something delicious and continue enjoying the attractions of the city.

Spectacular view... such an honour the be able to enjoy all the bar, and the view, has to offer.

Nice views of the harbour but it s challenging to find a table at peak periods. Food is decent and I d recommend this as a good place to take tourists to show them around. It s close to circular quay station which is quite convenient and there is a large wine list. Definitely a good place to visit but probably wouldn t be my go to bar in Sydney.

As the evening gets longer the voices get higher and finally there is no place to sit, So get there early ! Looks like all of fancy Sydney and the tourists including make up for the party happening here.

Great atmosphere and views, a bit warm in the afternoon sun but still excellent.

Amazing place to sit out and watch the harbour, and really not the most expensive bar we came across in Sydney. Not too busy at all although we were there off-peak. Really enjoyable evening.

The ultimate tourist bar, drinks are reasonably priced & the view can't get better. It is always busy here so don't expect to secure a table as soon as you arrive.

Can't go past this view on a nice Sydney Spring or Summer night. Awesome spot for tourists and the food is very decent. Drinks are a little pricey but what do you expect when you are looking at the harbour from the best location.

This place is in a beautiful area, the view is awesome and the staff are really nice. The Sydney opera house is iconic and this place is definately worth a visit!

Came here from NZ was a amazing location, drinks were amazing, food was great... the sprinklers amazing. Only this is apparently the eftpos was down so the Barman did our transaction again so was charged twice on my debit card. Have spoken to bank just waiting to hear back from the manager. Will update feedback when resolved

By Far my favorite place in Sydney.
The location itself is worth spending few hours there.

The view of Opera house, harbour bridge and sydney city while sitting next to the sydney harbour and having few drinks with your mates.. what else can you ask for.

They have a good range of Cocktails on offer as well as a great selection of wines, beers and spirits.
The food available is better than most of the bars in Sydney

Can get very busy Friday - Sunday, so get in early! Perfect view and great atmosphere! Great for after work drinks.

So the only thing this place has going for it is a view. The staff wasn t friendly. The O Connor Angus Rump was ordered medium rare and came medium well. The steak had no taste and for this type of restaurant I don t expect to get cold potato salad. That s like a ball park addition. On top of it all a bird poohed on my shoulder even with the bird patrol going by.

No visit to Sydney is complete without a visit to this iconic. Great views of the bridge and circular quay and you're in the shadow f the opera house. It's not even, by Sydnwy standards, very expensive.Hood food, Hoid hang-out.

Absolute classic, can't miss it. You pay for the experience, but definitely not as pricey as they could be so spot on!

Great bar for scenic drinks, or a quick sip before a show. Other than that, your wallet might empty quickly. Start here for 1-2, then move on.

Yesss, this place has the best buzz around circular quay. Super busy around twilight, noisy but fun.

What an absolutely amazing experience! Firstly the cocktails were delicious! the food was mouth watering, and came out quickly even on a busy night - the seafood was so fresh, the calamari was hands down is the best in Sydney, to top it all off the view is to die for

Big thank you to the staff as well were extremely friendly and overall service was great , will definitely be heading back for another night out!

Good atmosphere and good food all in the opera house setting, you can ask for much more for a great weekend.

This is the place to be on a summers evening, great cocktails, and always packed. A great crowd often with live music to create the perfect atmosphere

Absolutely fantastic evening at the Opera Bar, cocktails, food and service were first class and if course the view is amazing. The band were also excellent. A great night was had by all.

Food service was slow but friendly service and a fantastic location.

The staff have a nasty and snobby attitude. Pretty mediocre for such a prime location. Such a let down.

Better then the opera kitchen but really no choices there

It's not cheap to drink here so if your down to your last ten dollars and need a quick shot to get you through your work day then this probably isn't the bar for you. However if you're not down to your last and want to consume drinks right next to the ocean in the shadow of the most distinctive building in the world and directly across from another of the world's most distinctive bridges then this could just be the place for you!

The views are good and there's a lot of people around to chat to.

The location is very nice but some of the food is so sub standard. We had some starters delivered to the table which were ok.
I ordered beer battered flathead and chips, which was so underwhelming, tired chips accompanied it. The hot plate was handed to me as the waiter couldn't be bothered to walk around the table and place it on the table. Some bar staff don't posses interpersonal skills whatsoever, just blatant attitude.
It's a shame this establishment which has such a prominent position in Sydney and is most likely visited by many tourists has such poor quality food and service.

What have you done to your garlic prawn pizza? Please change it back to garlic and chilli. The pesto makes it far too oily and takes away flavour. So disappointed..

At night, the Sydney Opera House, I have never been a warm-colored fan. I always feel that it is not bright enough to concentrate. But walking along the opera house, the restaurants in the coastal area are all warm, and the friends are sitting. Chatting by the bay gives a warm feeling.

Nice place, however, I think those who attend should be friendlier!

Best views of the Harbour Bridge , Opera House, but more tables required, get in early, or try and go around the side areas for seats.

The service was very rude and snobby. A blonde haired girl with a ponytail gave attitude when I asked if I could receive a container and quickly pack the left over pizza up. The food is average compared to the price you pay. Their cocktails are great, however that incident with the bar attendant left a sour taste in my mouth.
