The "Fidelio" is absolutely worth seeing. Great voices. Lovely again.
Super. I was in the musical Emil and the detectives in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the evening show was canceled due to lack of ticket sales. Nevertheless: Thanks to the actors.
Horny stage and actor but the seating comfort disaster
Wonderful pieces! Recently with a ventilation system to let more people into the opera. I just feel at home in the opera ...
Partially !!! very unfriendly staff and you sometimes get unqualified answers suf polite questions! Staff affects partially uncoordinated.
Great opera house in a great ensemble with museum and church on Opernplatz. For this reason alone, Chemnitz is worth a visit.
Direct access via the underground car park. Especially favorable in bad weather. Parking fees flat rate 3 at performances.
Great house with great events. Suitable for the whole family.
Great house with a good repertoire and good musicals
Very impressive building with modern interiors and high quality productions. Events on the Theaterplatz in front of the opera (e.g. classics under the stars) are also extremely worthwhile. The underground car park always has sufficient parking spaces, the opera is also easy to reach by public transport. Every visit remains in positive memories.
The New Year's Eve party was a letdown for me with the 70s music did not work out that the DJ had no idea what he was playing the performance was good.
Loose atmosphere neat, mostly well-orchestrated performances, good sound, good lighting.
Great building And really good performances A visit is always worthwhile
Great opera house, very good performance, beautiful staging of the Magic Flute.
Great atmosphere, nice acoustics, excellent actor performances
Very nice house, excellent productions. Everything fits.
Beautiful opera house with a diverse range. In principle, the acoustics are good, but the places in the first tier are ideal. Especially at pop concerts and musicals, the sound is best and the understanding is good. For operas, the German text is often faded in to read along at the top of the stage. The ranks are also worthwhile here because you don't have to lift your head too far. Drinks can be pre-ordered for breaks. An underground car park is directly below and the balcony on the first floor has a beautiful view.
Well-tended atmosphere, good staff and a nice program. Highly recommended!
The Wagner performance was gorgeous and musically a great experience.
A great "Lohengrin". I am still thrilled with the overall impression of everyone involved.
Very nice house! Especially the rotatable stage is great.
Very entertaining and nice music. The New Year's concert
The most beautiful place in Chemnitz. Great atmosphere. Great pieces. Great performers.
Very successful premiere of the operetta 'The Devil on Earth'!
September 23, 2017: Premiere of the ballet "A Midsummer Night's Dream" - simply fantastic! A feast for the eyes and ears that should not be missed.
Everything clean and pleasant atmosphere. You should definitely reconsider the age rating. 4-year-olds who kick seats, eat and talk all the time have taken a little fun of this beautiful ballet. Otherwise we will gladly come back.
Very nice opera with good stagings. Nice opera cafe with moderate prices.
The performance is canceled due to illness, which unfortunately can happen. But dealing with the audience is a disaster. It was only during today's visit on January 19, 2020 that I found out that the Mefistofele performance was canceled. There was no information on the homepage of the opera, no information on the Facebook page of the Chemnitz Opera and no information by email. That is not excusable, especially since I came from Berlin. Failure is better communicated at other theaters.
Emil and the detectives was beautifully implemented as a musical.
Was in the hardware store today. I was horrified to see many empty shelves. I have always been very satisfied. Hope this gets better again.
A wonderful ballet evening with "Swan Lake", a combination of tradition and innovation. World class in Chemnitz. The house itself absolutely worth seeing. Gladly again.
Chemnitz Opera House is worth a visit both for music theater and in the "Ballet" category. The "Jungle Book" was unique, high dance art, lively choreographies, expressive dance with fun and passion. Humor was not neglected either. Very nicely done. Speaks big and small The roaring applause should have been liked by the actors. Keep it up
Bad signposting. Too few men toilets. Listening experience / acoustics was good.
Very good acoustics up to the 2nd rank. Great singers, always worth a visit.
Super staging of the Nusknacker. Extravagant costumes. Nice for the whole family.
Nice place for culture and entertainment, underground parking and free cloakroom.
Very good ballet. At the fire department, the coffee is cold you can only recommend for children as a beginner's opera
Good acoustics and attractive program. It is always worth a visit.
One of the most beautiful opera houses in Germany. A very committed ensemble gave us a nice music evening on the last day before the closure, despite enormous difficulties due to Corona. Hopefully it can start again soon with culture in the European cultural capital 2025.
Beautiful "My fair Lady" seen on the outdoor stage. The singers, costumes and dances - everything was perfect!
We have seen the opera Das Rheingold by Richard Wagner. We liked this performance very much. Now we look forward to the following three works from the Ring des Nibelungen. Impressive musical and theatrical performances will be remembered forever. Recommended for friends of classical music. The opera house in Chemnitz is always worth a visit.
As always. New Year's concert very great. Staff very courteous.
A performance under corona conditions ... Unfortunately the schedule was changed ... Lola Blau was given, which I probably wouldn't have seen otherwise. But it was worth it.
Very versatile program. Actually always a cultural experience. Affordable prices.
Great house, excellent stagings. We always like to come here again.
It was a wonderful evening with very good soloists and an interesting production and great choreography!
