DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- The broker, (((BRAD JOHNSON )))) is the worst!!! He s hot- headed, threatening, angry and should not be allowed to talk to anyone, because he has a bad attitude. He s pushy, is not a stand up person when things doesn t go his way.

Open Road is hands down the best Transportation company we've ever used at Hewn. They have an incredible team and are the number one go to for us. Our shipments are mostly oversized units and ship to remote/difficult locations. Christopher, Steve and the whole team get it done every time. What I like most about them, is there honesty and fairness. These guys are in the game to establish true partnerships with their customers. Highly recommended by me and our team at Hewn.
I've recently just started using Open Road Transportation.
My contacts at ORT are really professional, helpful and quick to respond. It was a pleasure meeting Chris Harper(Senior Account Manager) face to face and working directly with Courtney Martin for freight arrangements. Courtney has been on top of tracking ALL my freights and letting me know immediately if there's any issues with pickups and or deliveries. I would definitely recommend them to others.
Quite possibly the best company I have ever worked for. Up to date and maintained equipment, friendly and helpful management. I'm the type of driver that likes to be left to do my thing and not be micromanaged and Open Road is great for that. Open Road feels more like a family than a job. I don't plan on leaving any time soon.

Devin Pyne He was the broker who attended me and was very professional, friendly and always aware of the load that my driver was carrying, and where I loaded and unloaded everything was fast.
Brokers are average to good. Accounts payable are very slow. Load hauled with zero issues delivered 4/1 billed 4/5 due for payment on 5/5 and still not paid on 5/28.
Call and get nothing but excuses. Do not haul.
Working with this broker for over a year and rarely have an issue. The 1 time we did have an issue Mike Garnett took good care of us. Working with Mike is always a pleasure. He will manage to lift your spirits when you are having a bad day. He is always professional and polite over the phone. Mike probably sets the bar in his office and leads by example as a 2 time employee of the month...and March has only just begun. Great job Mike!
