The way up is not pleasant, the unbelievable smell of all smokers during the consumption decrease was terrible. The show itself and the organization was perfect.

The oldest, and for many, the most beautiful open air theater in the Netherlands !!
Built in 1916 by Pierre Cuijpers (indeed that of the Rijksmuseum and Central station in Amsterdam !!)
Carved out of marl stone, the theater seats around 950. It even has a cave theater of about 175 seats, which can be closed in winter.
With the most diverse types of music from opera to Hard Rock, you can organize a great night out for everyone, absolutely worth a visit !!

The most beautiful open air theater in the Netherlands. Great programs and fantastic and helpful staff. Good acoustics. For a night out you have to be in Valkenburg.

Wonderfull atmosphere, great volunteers and great artist.

Nice location for concerts in the open air. Snug, good sound, cushions for the banks are distributed at the entrance, at the bar even Tongerlo beer available, ample parking.
