Beautiful location for a concert. So atmospheric !!!

Unique location, at music performances risk that sound blows away. Even if you are too high, sound is less.

On the night that the ABBA revival band performed, the sky burst open just before the break. Despite the rain, everyone remained seated. We enjoyed a sold out performance for 2 hours. Tip. Do not sit behind the sound engineer. When it rains he pulls a sail over him and the equipment so you don't see anything anymore.

This is a nice exclusive spot for watching concerts. The view is good from all seats as the stage islower and the seats go up in stairs Greek theatre style. Of course, mind the weather.

If you love theater, but want to see a performance in a different environment, then the Open Air Theater Valkenburg is the place! Due to the unique location of the theater, your attention is not only drawn to the stage, but also to the atmosphere around it. The facilities that are available are well taken care of by the volunteers.

Ideal location for the Midsummer Prog festival! Good sound, no bad places, always a bit of shade to look up in sunny weather.

Did my hand here to perform "Touch of TOTO" on 08-07-2017. The staff were very helpful very helpful and friendly; also for the visitors. This created a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere, so that everyone who was present could experience a very pleasant evening. Absolutely recommended if you can visit a band that you love!

Beautiful fairytale location. Built by architect Pierre Cuijpers, who also designed ironic Gothic Revival buildings such as the Rijksmuseum and Central Station in Amsterdam.
The amphitheater is built around a stage in natural rock formations with special acoustics. Just like in antique theaters, the voices of actors are naturally amplified, so that they can be heard everywhere.
Beautiful, enthusiastic programming in the summer months, aimed at a wide audience.
Acoustic concerts are an extra treat because the acoustic space is an extra challenge for the musicians.
The theater is widely supported by institutions and governments. Many volunteers provide an attentive service and a pleasant environment where a wide audience can feel at home.

This is really great! With a guide you will be included in a replica of the catacombs in Rome. Very special and also very nice for children.

Nice and cozy theater with friendly people in the organization. If you forbid that as a spectator you bring your own food, then you must ensure that there is enough to eat and that there is enough variation. That was missing one time. Well good toilets that were cleaned regularly, good seats with free pillows and nice special beer in matching glasses. Good sound.

Yesterday I was in the open air theater for the first time in my life, actually quite shameful as I am from Valkenburg. I really enjoyed the concert and the fine entourage that they have to offer here. I definitely plan to do this more often in the future. Great to be able to experience this in such a nice location.
