Open Road Acura of Wayne Review

As a longtime Audi customer, I had experienced first class business throughout my years there. Switched over to an Acura (my previous salesman retired) and didn t really find that there. That s until I came across Pedro Diaz at Open Road Acura of Wayne. Walked in so my wife could test drive a 2020 MDX ASPEC being that the lease on our 2018 TLX was maturing and we were now a family of 5. We were very indecisive being that we wanted to wait for the 2021 models but the programs on the 2020 models were extremely attractive. I had told my wife that we would just wait but Pedro was helping me close the deal behind the scenes to surprise her with a new car for her birthday. Pedro was upfront, responsive, and worked with my best interest in mind throughout the whole interaction, qualities that are important in building long term relationships with your clients. In the end, Pedro made it all happen and I picked up my wife s car first thing in the morning the following day. Not only did he earn my business but also that of my family s which includes an upcoming purchase and 3 Acura leases maturing within the next 6 months.

Dave was my sales associate and him as well as everyone at the Acura dealer of Wayne were nothing but great! My first new car and I can't recommend anywhere as much as this place!

We visited OpenRoad Acura twice before we bought a 2019 Acura RDX with the Technology package. Both times we worked with Sabir Miah. Sabir was wonderful. He was very personable and patient with us during our car search. Whether in person, by eMail, or phone, Sabir always returned correspondence quickly. During multiple road tests, he did not require us to go on the typical 1 - 2 mile route other dealerships stick too. He listened to our requests and took us on the highway, bumpy and twisty roads, and any other places we wanted to go to fully test the vehicle. He clearly explained and demonstrated all the features of the car while driving and the rest while back at the dealership.

The negotiation process was very open and easy with no back and forth on the price. He gave us a price, we countered, he agreed and we were done. After that he introduced us to the finance manager, who wrapped up this part of the process quickly, and Sabir then introduced us to the service techs. and manager who congratulated us. When the car was prepped and ready for us to drive of the lot, Sabir made sure to demonstrate everything and answer all our questions. We will definitely go back to OpenRoad and Sabir for our next Acura purchase. Ask for him when you go there.

I bought a certified pre-owned TSX in December of last year. Buying the car was fairly easy, aside from a few arrogant people once we started talking numbers. All they kept saying was how great of a car I was buying. Once the problems started, which was not very long after, that quickly changed to oh that year is known for that problem . The very same day I drove the car off the lot, the moldings from the windshield to the sunroof, started peeling off. I immediately drove it back and showed them. They made a service appointment the next day and assured me it was a minor issue that would be replaced under a recall that just came out. Next, the steering in the car kept getting tighter and tighter. I brought it back for service to take a look at it and was told the 2009 s have poor steering, they upgraded it in the newer models. Every week or so the notification for my left rear tire kept going off with a low level warning. After filling it back up with air and it kept continuing, I took it to a local tire place to have it inspected. Turns out, the valve stem was already broken, and replaced very badly. The XM radio looses signal every 5 minutes regardless of where I travel. Again, took it back to Wayne service where I was told specifically that my radio sounds like every other TSX, they all loose signal like that, they aren t good. This week, my steering once again became extremely stiff, almost like I had no power steering at all. Since I have had enough awful experiences with Acura of Wayne, I took it to another dealership. They immediately made me a service appointment with a loaner car. I gave them the VIN of my TSX and they informed me I had two open recalls on my car- both for molding issues. The same ones that Wayne claimed they fixed the day I bought my car! I was infuriated; first you sell me a lemon of a car and then lie about the repairs that they did. If I were Acura corporate, I would shut this place down to prevent people from having the same experiences as I and swear off ever buying another Acura again.

I HAVE NOT HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I was lied to from the beginning and they were never honest with me about The vehicle from the start. I bought a certified pre-owned MDX in February 2016 with 29,500 miles on the car and had problems with the vehicle from the start. I took it back within 2 weeks to get an alignment because it was pulling to the left. They took it in and they said nothing was wrong. I brought it back a second time and they claimed they fixed the problem but, it was not fixed. Fast forward a few months later I take it in for an oil change service to Ramsey Acura and they notice a clear issue after I asked them to check it out. Ramsey Acura is also telling me that I need a transmission service, a rear differential service, my tires are wearing uneven and I need an alignment and a rotation. My car is now at 38,700 miles after having it for 6 months. Ramsey says I need the teams service and the rear differential service performed at 15,000 and at 30,000. I bring it back to Open Road Acura and they are going back and forth with me telling me they don't know why it would need any of these services so soon. They basically were saying Ramsey is wrong and doesn't know what they are talking about. They ask a salesman at their dealership about the service schedule for the car of when these services needed to be done and he confirmed what Ramsey Acura had said was true. I asked about service records for the vehicle because I was told in the very beginning by my salesman that my car was bought and serviced at Open Road Acura. The Managers pulled what they could from CarFax and confirmed that the car was actually not bought or serviced at Open Road At All. I was lied to from the beginning. My original salesman told me a lie about the car being serviced and bought from Open Road Acura. My salesman also never told me at the time of purchasing the vehicle that The car was coming up on these services being so close to the 30,000 mile mark. Also because the car was at 29,500 Open Road Acura did not perform the services needed and left it for the consumer to take care of. POOR SALESMANSHIP AND POOR BUSINESS ETHIC. FAIL!!!! If I knew I had to deal with this I would have not purchased the vehicle to begin with. Now not to mention that I have an alignment issue that can't be fixed because they say nothing is wrong with the vehicle when there clearly is and it has been back to Open Road Acura 3 times for the same alignment issue. So continuing I am now battling with the managers after he finds out that Ramsey was right about when the services needed to be performed. He says to me that keeping in Good Faith Open Road Acura will pay for the rear differential service if I paid for the transmission service. I angrily agreed (my stupidity) but I said as we were walking to the service dept that I would do the trans flush on my next apt. I left my car again and picked it up the next day to find out now they performed the transmission flush without my permission!!!! OPEN ROAD ACURA IS A BUNCH OF CROOKS AND IS DISHONEST. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! I wish I could just get my money back and find a different car!!!

I had a good, professional experience every step of the way. Jesse from internet sales was prompt and gave me accurate info for the model I wanted. At the dealership, Marcus from sales showed me the cars I was interested in. Sure, we negotiated. But he was never pushy or aggressive.
I don't yet have any experience with their parts/service department. But I hope they have the same professional quality as sales.

I bought a new Acura RDX 2020 from this dealership. I worked with Johanna Perez and with Josh Bradley. We asked about 10 dealership to bid and give their best OTD price. This dealership had the best deal. The other challenge was that we had to sign all papers while away on vacation. Johanna and Josh worked with me over the phone, email and text messages and then Fedexed papers to me. I signed them, Fedexed back and we jointly beat the deadline.

I went to Open Road Acura to buy a certified pre owned tlx and was referred to Marcus. The car was a little out of my price range but Marcus was patient and very informative. Car buying is very hard. Especially this base model, MDX. It took about 2 weeks getting this car, but Open Road Acura of Wayne made it all worth while waiting for this car. The staff there from the sales consultant to the sales manager to the financial manager were all very knowledgeable, professional and ready in helping my family and I acquire the right vehicle.
Because there is a shortage of these base model MDX's, it was incredibly hard trying to acquire it, in any color. However, Open Road Acura of Wayne stood by us from start to finish and came through on their promise. Again, I commend the staff for going above and beyond for us, but I especially want to thank the sales manager, Adam Links, for his great efforts. My friend recommended I purchase my vehicle at Open Road Acura of Wayne even though its not close to where I live at all. I contacted them to first to see if it would be worth the drive. I had the pleasure to speak with Jessica Quezada and she listened to what I was looking for and offered me something even better. I have had experiences with many other dealers where they offer good deals and its a different story when I go to take delivery of the vehicle. In this case it was nothing like that!!! Their manager Fabio introduced him self and was supper friendly. I definitely recommend this dealer. For sure!

I was having trouble with my car and started looking into getting into an Acura. I'm so happy I did. My husband and I visited this location and spoke with Mr. Sabir he was awesome. we had some car's in mind and got to see all the cars we wanted he was extremely helpful. Thankfully Sabir was very informative and knowledgeable. He was able to answer my 105 questions. After we decided what vehicle we wanted he explained the ins and outs of the vehicle. I can t believe the excellent customer service I received from this dealership! From the moment I expressed interest in a vehicle online & was called by Tina, I immediately felt welcomed & comfortable to come in! Tina answered every question I had & got me to take the 30mile drive bypassing my local dealers! So glad I did because then I met Dave! Dave worked hard in my favor to make sure I was 100% happy with every step of the process. He really took his time & from the test drive to the final moments of me leaving with my new MDX made me feel like family! Two years ago Pedro Diaz sold me my second Acura and on this past weekend he sold me my third. I stated in my previous review that "Pedro is an exceptional salesman" and two years later it's still true. Not only did he remember selling me my last Acura, he also remembered in detail many of the things that we discussed during that purchase. That level of customer service is greatly appreciated. During this weekends visit, Pedro did everything possible to find the TLX in the color that I wanted and he presented me with a deal that I just couldn't refuse. Although the dealership was very busy, Pedro was very attentive and followed through to the end of the transaction. Tonight I picked my new TLX and again Pedro didn't disappoint. When I arrived Pedro had my car warming, all of the final paperwork was all ready prepared and he personally reviewed the cars features. I just purchased my second Acura from Open Road Acura of Wayne and my experience was incredible. Pedro Diaz is an exceptional salesman. He is attentive, friendly, and quite knowledge about the line of Acura vehicles. Although I showed up to test drive a car about 1 hour before the dealership was to close, Pedro patiently assisted me, answered all of my questions and joined me for the test drive. At an hour after closing, Pedro was still there making sure that my new car was nice and clean and that I understood many of the cars features. Along with Pedro, there were also other employees still working past closing, assisting their customers and finalizing financial paperwork. Because of the excellent service that I received from Pedro, I highly recommend Open Road Acura of Wayne.

I would also like to acknowledge the business manager, Scott, who stayed more than one hour beyond closing as well, to finalize my paperwork. Spoke to Jessie on the phone and was nice but when I got to the dealership I never even met her despite asking for her when I came in. Met with Dave but it felt like a gimmick because line of the day was"ok I'm going to send this over or they're still working on it". He wasn't very knowledgeable about the car and did not offer any alternatives. Unfortunately I was very interested in buying but walked away because of the inattentiveness and lack of offers.

I had a great experience with Acura in Wayne. The sales rep was extremely friendly and helpful from start to finish. I expected it to be a long and frustrating process, but finding the car and getting the price i wanted, was a lot easier than i thought.
