I went to Open Road Acura and as soon as i walked in I was greeted by many of the employees. Pedro was phenomenal assuring that we got the deal we wanted. He went through every step with us clarifying and being upfront about everything. It was first time getting a new car and I couldn t have imagined having a better experience like the one I had at Open Road. It is evident that there is miscommunication between upper management and sales.
First of all, the prices here are non-negotiable. Sales reps are pushy and a bit aggressive. My best recommendation is to ask for a different sales rep if you do not feel comfortable with the first one that is assigned.
Secondly, the dealership fees that are assigned at this dealership are not as high as the fees at another tri-state dealership (eg. Park Ave Acura).
On another note, I asked two separate sales reps from this dealership "what are their rules regarding payment". I was told by both reps (Nahel & Jessie) that there is a credit card limit of $3,500 but that they can be charged twice. Here is the problem with that statement, on the day of signing and payment, the finance manager informed me that there is a limit of $5,000 to be charged on a credit card. My disappointment comes from the result of miscommunication or false statements. Either way HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY.
Moreover, my sales rep was unable to give me a full tutorial regarding the vehicle and its features.
And lastly, on the day of signing my fiance and the finance manager (Jef. might have been his name) got into a bit of an argument regarding the specs of a LEXUS versus ACURA. What should have been a smooth day, became a nightmare.
It seems as though all of this dealership's bases are not checked.
My best tip regarding this dealership, is to check your options elsewhere and if all else does not work then this would be a last result.

First off, I just want to say thank you to Pedro yet again for such an amazing car leasing experience! My husband and I went looking for another car on the Open Road Acura car lot about 6 months ago. I stayed behind to find out about lease/finance deals while my husband looked at the other car. I leased a 2020 TLX A-Spec from Raja. He was courteous and transparent from the get go. He worked with me based on my price range and delivered. Also, the checkout process was hassle-free and seamless all the way through finance. Service at Acura was excellent. This dealership was top notch! Raja went above and beyond to make sure I purchased the car i was most comfortable with. Raja was a great sales representative and answered every question i had and attended to my every need. I will recommend him to anyone.
Buyer beware !!! We entered a binding contract with Open Road Acura of Wayne ,NJ August 17, 2018. During the test drive we gave a $100.00 good faith deposit with contingency that the radio would be fixed before we brought and signed. On august 17 we got the call the care radio was fixed. My wife signed the contract for a 2016 Acura MDX going for $26,986 at the time now its $26,586. We negotiated the price
to $25,000. on August 17 and signed the contract with the manager Greg Della Penna and gave in our credit application which would be approved that morning. We returned the next day early morning on Aughts 18th to finishe the deal providing the car Infortertaniment package was compatable with my wife phone. The Dealer pre owne manager Freddy Bracamonte came over with the sighne contact and paper work in hand and said he had no idea the manger had reduced the vehicle and would not honor the reduction. Now this is a signed application and contract. He also stated the dealer fees of $940.oo for reconditioning and doc fee of $599. sketching of $199 would be included with the price.
We did not fight with him nor did we threated to sue. We asked him why he would not honor the contract and he replied he just cant do it. It was a mistake on the evening managers part. and the car is already reduced its lower than any other car on the website.
Bottom line always ask for the fees and dont trust a signed contract. They will not honor it if they want more money. Unscrouplous behaviour. and unscrouplous dealership. I did fight for the car because it was too much milage anyway over 57000 and the car has been sitting on the lot 79days. I was suspecious of the ride too it was a little shaky but I thougt it was the road. But if in fact I wanted the car I would of have to taken them to court for not honoring a binding contract.
Ask them there fees upfront before you negotiat with them. They will say the fees are on the website but its ambiguous. They wont tell you that there is a hugh reconditioning fee. They are know for there hidden fees . You need there fees in writing so it can add up before you make the deal. thoes hiddend fees are not at every Acura Dealership.

Had the worst experience with a sales associate by the name of Humberto. From the minute he approached me it seems like he was having a bad morning. He came back with a ridiculous deal and didnt even give me no chance to negotiate, let alone even take my credit. He didnt put no time or efford on trying to get a sale or make a deal with me. I'm truly disappointed because I have read nothing but positive reviews about this dealership and I can honestly say I just wasted my time.

I ve been shopping for a new car for a while now. I ve had some terrible experiences with buying cars and dealing with car salesmen in the past. However let me tell you about my experience here.
So, I was looking at an Acura RDX and a friend of mind actually told me to come to open road Acura in Wayne. I took his advice and made the trip from
Jersey City.
Upon my arrival, I prepared my self to be ambushed by sales people as soon as I stepped out the car (as per my past experiences). However this did not happen. I actually spent about 5-10 minutes just looking and checking out the car in the show room before I was asked if I needed help. I thought it was great that they didn t breathe down my neck as soon as I got there. Anyway I said yes and I would like to speak to someone. That s when I met Dave.
Before we spoke about anything he insisted that we have a cup of coffee and then we began. Dave is old school but honest and CARES about his customers. I explained to him my situation and was honest about my expectations. He was in turn honest about what he could do and made me feel extremely comfortable through out the process. For the first time in my life the car buying process was a breeze. Of course there were a few bumps and details that needed to be ironed out but Dave most definitely delivered.
If you made it this far in my review, I m asking you that you give Dave and Open Road Acura in Wyane NJ a chance. Just go in have a cup of coffee and you ll most likely walk out with what you re looking for.

Buying a car can be the most anxious experience ever especially for me. I was so nervous and so indecisive on what I wanted but Lou and Sabir had the patience to help me choose my car. Traded in my Acura RDX, contacted dealership finance department to get refund for unused warranty and they keep brushing me off that they have to wait for warranty company. Called warranty company directly weeks later to see status because dealership keeps telling me they have not got a response and found out no paperwork was ever submitted to them to deactivate warranty coverage. Also was told dealership issues refund not warranty company. One has nothing to do with the other, they can refund me. Asked to speak to GM to escalate and was put on hold for long periods of time because they were too busy to speak to me. Went to the dealership and it was EMPTY and still GM refused to speak to me. They called the cops because they didn t have time for me and I refused to leave till someone gave me answers. Before cops got there John threatens me by saying good luck getting your money back . Cops spoke to me and then to them and they told cops they were not going to speak to me. They had no time to speak to me but they have 5 minutes to speak to the cops to have me leave. Cops saw they were Doing wrong to me and filed a civil complaint so I can use against them. Cop tired to be the mediator to resolve issue but again they refused to speak to me.
I will never deal with this dealership again. They are unprofessional and disrespectful of your time. All they want is your money! Bet if I was buying another car they would have time for me.

I just leased my 1st car and honestly going in I did not know what to expect and was a bit nervous. When I walked in Pedro confronted me with a very positive attitude. After hearing all the horror stories about car dealerships I was already on edge. Man was my attitude different now that I got to know Pedro. He was very friendly, professional and made the whole process very easy. Helped me out with any questions, helped me set up my cars entertainment system and gave me his business card and encouraged me to call him with any additional questions. I'm very lucky to have went to Open Road Acura and had Pedro help me out. Would rate 10/10 for customer service!

With the assistance of Humberto Cruz, I just stayed an Open Road of Wayne customer. Humberto called me earlier this week about turning in my 2016 MDX early and looking at a new 2018 MDX. My lease wasn t due until January but Humberto made it easy and hassle free to trade in early. When I heard about another dealers offer, Humberto didn t just match it, he beat it! No tricks or hassle in the office, I was in and out in less than two hours. He even was kind enough to call me to let me know I left a CD in the old car (for those you know what that even is!). If your thinking of an Acura and want to consider Open Road, do yourself a favor and ask for Humberto!! Five Stars!!!!
