Have been here many times before and it is a decent venue although the washrooms were not very clean and toilet paper and adequate devices and paper towels to dry your hands seemed to be missing the last time I was there and we were inside the venue about 20 minutes ofter the event began. Also shade was hard to find as only a small number of seating ares had umbrellas to hide from the sun, all easy fixes.

Came here for the Pizza Festival. Really liked it as it's so near the water! Getting here by transit however was frustrating... once you get off the streetcar, there are no signs telling you where to go and so you have to venture off trying to look for landmarks that will lead you to it. My friends guided me on the phone, otherwise I would have been completely lost. Once I finally reached it though, it wasnt so bad and I'm sure I could remember it for future events.

A great recreational area. It contains marina, IMAX movie theater, island, beach, etc. 2 level patio is located on the island, but currently restaurants and stores are closed due to Covid.
A wonderful area for family and friends recreation.

Ontario Place is located on the shores of Lake Ontario... The views will always be nice no matter where you go. A lot of events are conducted on the grounds so it's not always the same thing, which is great because there is always something new to look forward to.

The venu is a nice place in the western extremity of Toronto. Have a few futuristic (already old fashioned) building. I went during for Victoria days. The only attraction was a few food trucks and a few booths to sell local handcrafted products. I bought a wooden plate from a young man.

Review for the light festival in the western part of the park.
1. Entry is free!
2. Cool light exhibits, meander the western grounds after dark and enjoy some interesting light installations.
3. Bring your skates!! Rent for a fee, or bring your own, and enjoy an artificial rink sheltered from the wind, with great music and best of all, it's not crazy busy.
3. Fire pits!! Bring your own marshmallows to roast.
4. You can bring your dog, just clean up after it please!
Downfall... parking is steep.

Whoever is in charge of this place should be fired. Only one place to buy water from on the whole west side of the island on such a busy and hot day!!! Waited in line for 40 mins to buy water from such a small booth. Thank god for the water fountains, but too bad they are located in such a weird location (Near Imax theatre).

The rainstorm that day really highlighted the natural beauty of the space. Too bad there are so many derelict structures on the site decaying away instead of being repurposed. The elevator to the main structure, although slightly bouncy, still accessible and operational and you can explore. The signature bridges/walkways sway in the wind and with each step - not for the faint of heart. The urban adventure/obstacle course on the site of the abandoned mini roller coaster/silos is awesome! Some hazards should be marked though for those with less intuition i.e. one of the silos can be accessed through a doorway and inside there are definitely sizeable spiders as well as maybe bats?

This review is regarding the Ontario Place that existed before there was a decision made to close it. It was amazing (especially when the Chinese Lantern Festival took place). I do not like the idea of it being closed and renovated.

Beautiful sightseeing! Great way to see some of the magic of Toronto. Me and my other half recently went down to see the winter festival. Always do a great job setting up events definitely an enjoyable place to stop and see.

Had a wonderful time with the family. However the park is showing it's age and looks very tired with lots of rust and dilapidated buildings. High water lake levels have claimed and submerged some of the park. That being said my children had a great time on the pedal boats and putting their feet in Lake Ontario.

Found this hidden gem when I was looking to explore some other place. Its really really beautiful place where we can enjoy sunset to its fullest form. It also has access to water where people can enjoy little swimming as well. It has paid parking as well.

HUGE UPDATE FROM MY RECENT REVIEW: This place is phenomenal!! It has a gorgeous park that's been retrofitted with tons of greenery and really nice atmosphere, after talking with someone trustworthy at the park, it will NOT BE turning into Casino, strip club, or condos (mostly due to bad foundation for large building). Some of the rides and stuff are still up which is really cool and nostalgic if you went there a kid. Definitely check it out, great place to bike and walk for suuuureee!!!

Aurora Lights Winter Festival. Nice but over priced. If you are a family of 4 with kids over 12, be prepared to spend $100 ($25 pp) on entry alone. Lights are nice. Dress very warm. Skate rentals available. Long line up. For families with little ones, no indoor place to put skates on.
You get a free drink with adult entry. While good drink choices, not worth the wait. We opted out, lines were too long.
