Nice resort hotel if you like to play tennis and golf.

Great family resort! Came here with some close friends for a weekend getaway and we all had a fun time. The lazy river was our favorite amenity at the hotel. That alone was worth the trip. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the food at the resort was excellent. My only complaint is we were able to hear everything that was said in the room next to us. The next door guests weren't being loud, but for some reason their conversation could be clearly heard through the doorway that connected our two rooms. We had a hard time sleeping because they were up late talking. We didn't want to complain because they weren't doing anything wrong. Just unfortunate that sound carries so easily through the walls.

Weekend getaway destination for my family. Kids love this resort and always asking to take them to "Palm Springs" (they didn't see anything in the area besides the resort and few restaurants at most)))

We had to breathe and get away for a few days, we found this place through Expedia. Because of covid there are a lot of changes if you travel. As of 7/20 their pools are open from 9-1pm, 1:00-2pm close for Cleaning, 2-6 open, 7-10pm first come, first serve. You can t use the pool the day you check out (SAD) Understandable. There is no room service but their is food and beverages you can order by the pool. They have a water slide for kids and adults, staff is very friendly and ready to help. Rooms were clean and ready at 2:00pm . We still brought our Lysol and disinfectant wipes and cleaned before putting anything down. Social distancing was practice here and there was not a lot of people during the weekday that we stayed.

Hotel is good and kids had a blast. Reason for my negative review is housekeeping. We found half a bagel in the corner of our room after being there 3 days. We didn't eat any bagels in our room. Two days earlier I had called housekeeping to freshen our room. They said my kids had told them to leave. They absolutely did not, and would not have. When I smiled and thanked them for coming back, she glared at me. When I told front desk they were very apologetic.

We we're also horrified at how much plastic waste there was. Everything was served in plastic cups with lids and straws. They even put ketchup sachets in plastic containers, which was mental.

The pool was great. A little crowded. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Tons to do.

We (my wife, 4 year old and I) came with a two night Living Social deal to get out of LA for a couple nights and had a wonderful time! Checking in with Don was a very pleasant experience! He was great, thorough and answered all my questions. The Lobby is beautiful!

Our room was very nice. Nothing too fancy, but everything you need with a great resort vibe. The highlight is Splashtopia! - an aquatic area that features a large pool, a lazy river, 2 water slides, a splash pad and a small beach where kids can play in the sand with hotel-supplied sand toys! It was all very nice and we hardly left! They have servers walking around who will bring you food and drink which you can charge to your room, so no need for a wallet! They also play Disney movies at night on a large inflatable screen which you can watch while IN the pool!

We enjoyed The Blue Ember for a breakfast and a dinner and enjoyed both. It s overpriced for sure, but not so much that it loses a star. My son LOVED the kid s buffet! He had a great time and ate super well! I d recommend if you eat here, not eating all meals here as Palm Springs isn t lacking in amazing food in all price ranges!

We weren t able to enjoy the adults pool or the spa due to the child, but those are options too. It was our first time to Palm Springs and we had a wonderful time! If you re looking for a great getaway for a few days, this is a great option!

There were a couple negatives that would make the experience better that I hope the resort considers:

-After obliging to join their member benefits club, I was told I couldn t get points for this trip because we booked third party, which is ludicrous! While we saved a bit by going third party... not that much! All in all we dropped around $600 here, and it s pretty crappy they won t give you points for that.

-The Pools are wonderful, but SUPER hot. It LITERALLY feels like a pool sized hot tub, so there isn t anywhere in the water to really escape the heat and cool off. I d recommend they take the temp down quite a bit. If they can t, maybe turn one of the (always empty) hot tubs and make it a cold pool and people can get a bit of relief.

-They need to get child size tubes in the lazy river. The rule is everyone must be in a provided tube, but they re all adult size so it was virtually impossible for my son to use one on his own.

Those were the three downers. Everything else rocked!!! We ll be back for sure!!!

Great place for a getaway, especially if you enjoy golfing. Staff is very friendly and quick to get you what you need. Plenty of nearby places to eat, including several within walking distance. Hotel has an onsite coffee shop, bar and restaurant with really good food as well.

Very nice, spacious room, beautifully kept, nice for kids, but highly recommend avoiding peak season due to overpricing and crowds at the pools.

Rancho Mirage on Bob Hope drive near Palm Desert border. Awesome service

The pool is disgusting, the only way you can get cooled off is by the shower next to the pool. Very difficult to get a chair. People leave their things out and go back to the room so only 30% of the seats are actually occupied. Their cabanas are very expensive, they are made up of an easy up and 3 white shower curtains. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything going on in the next room. A staff member knocked on our door at 9 o'clock to give us 2 bottles of water. Quite literally the worst place my family and I have ever stayed at. The only positive is that the staff is very friendly.

Very nice place. Great restaurant on site. Very nice SPA as well. Front desk is a little slow or maybe understaffed. Great places to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

One heck of an amazing resort! Attended a wedding here and it's such a beautiful venue!

Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort suffers serious deferred maintenance. We usually stay at Westin, this time we were thinking trying out something different. It didn t turn out well. The rate here is comparable to Westin, but it feels like a Motel. The toilet was not functioning, we had to switch a room. The AC unit where the filter is detached from the wall. Well, this is the type one and done hotel.

Ridiculous trip I got robbed from the room service my Credit card and cash money I make a police report during my accommodation front office manager doesn t care at all won t repeat this visit in my life

This place is very nice. Multiple pools. Beautiful rooms. I didn't use the golf course so I don't know. It's very close to the mall and the zoo.

Amazing place to have fun and relax with the family and kids. We went to celebrate my son birthday and just to get away from the routine. My kids had a blast, the customer service was wonderful. I give this resort a 5star. We got to enjoy both pools and the food. Everything was excellent! I will definitely go back.

Great place for the kids. Pool-side food is really good and so is the restaurant. Clean resort style grounds. Very peaceful. The staff is very helpful.

Check in staff were good. Room was clean and comfortable, although a bit complicated to get to the pool. The pools we're way too warm. It was 110 degrees and the pools were not really refreshing. Towel service was nice. Biggest complaint - for that price, no complimentary continental breakfast? Who doesn't do that anymore?

Concierge (Tarpin) Amazing!

Customer Service (Room Service and Poolside Food Services) Terribly Slow and sometimes unresponsive.

Room - Toilet issue took 3 trys and 2 days to repair. No Hot Water in Shower for first 1.5 day.

Cleanliness - Common Areas of pool always messy and unmanaged (towels, food, trash)

Pools - 1 area with LGs and another with no LGs ?. A number of kids (including mine) experienced minor scrapes/cuts on feet from the Lazy River Pool.

Many other Viable options in the Palm Desert to stay.

Family friendly resort. Kids loved the lazy River and water slides.

Love this place. I joined the spa member ship years ago. It's the best deal $120.00 a month,this includes one treatment a month. Plus gym, salt water pool, spa, steam room etc.
I go here almost daily .

I love this Omni property. It is beautiful and a tennis player's paradise. The buildings are older, but the rooms are well appointed, comfortable beds, and plenty of space. I always enjoy breakfast overlooking the golf course and pond. As usual, the service was great.

Beautiful golf course ,front desk staff were amazing and cannot express my thanks enough to Bethan at the Omni she greeted us with kindness and professionalism. Amazing restaurants ,spa and shops. I felt like royalty.

Lovely grounds & spacious room. Staff were helpful & pleasant. Could call for a golf cart pick-up! Centrally located for restaurants, shopping, & sight seeing.

We are local and did the cabana rental for the day. Had a great time. You have the cabana from 9am until 10pm. They close and clean everything from 1pm til 2pm and again from 6pm til 7pm. Our server for our cabana Ramiro was great! The only complaint I have is that the cement will burn your feet all around the lazy river and splashtopia. It it very slippery. They should put down a textured cool decking for everyone's safety. Not sure we would pay that price again for the cabana though. It was nice to have our own space. I would have liked a bigger table for when we ordered lunch and drinks. The table is super small and there were only 3 of us.
You get bigger tables where there are just lounge chairs. I feel the cabana is worth $200 but not the $325 we paid.

Its pricey but worth it for the family we'll definitely be visiting again

The Good - we stayed in the newly renovated room; the splashtopia put Great Wolf Lodge to test especially when it comes to 'value' when considering how much less Omni is charging. If you don't have kids urging for extreme water slides, save the money and go to Omni instead! I'm 100% sure that you will at least get a better appointed hotel room!

The Bad - our newly renovated room had a few issues: a) somehow the bathroom door is always sticky. b) the silver plate around the bathtub drain is all rusty. Somehow they must have forgotten to budget for a replacement? c) the in room safe is ridiculously high in the closet. Not only it's difficult to reach, you wouldn't be able to see if you left something inside the safe. d) the toilet seat was dirty with stains

We were glad that our room was so close to the pool. We loved that the pools were heated, 2 water slides, kid areas (fountains, sand), and the lazy river was great with kid and adult tubes. The food at the blue ember restaurant was delicious especially the gnocchi and salmon dishes. I liked the peet's coffee store and the gym.

great escape from hustle and bustle to just sit back and relax. Family and friends friendly. Everything you need is close by.

I have not played Rancho Las Palmas in many, many years. The course is still very well kept and is challenging when you don't hit the shots you need to score well. I was not impressed with the greens at Rancho Las Palmas, compared to the other courses I've played since moving back to So. Cal. But overall we had a good time and finished in approximately 2:25 as a single.

Great for families and kids. Bring your water shoes, the ground was burning!

The worst we go every year a few time throughtpur the summer this time was the worst and we ll never be back. We had the wrong room once we got in we had bugs and lies all over I have pic and videos and managers were not helpful and at 1030pm
Finally had us moved with 3 kids including a new born. We tried to make the best of it the managers made things worst and were not helpful at all even threatened us! The pools were soo gross everyday we went in and if we didn t live so far we would of left the same night! We will never be back everyone be ware this place has changed for the worst

We have been to this hotel a few times and always love the stay. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The pool area is terrific for children, with splashtopia and the slides. There are 2 water slides but height limits are 42 inches. The lazy River can get quite crowded but is still fun for kids and can be relaxing for adults. The shallow area near the lazy River is a sandbox and Beach area. The cafe has good food and the blue ember restaurant has nice tables and ambiance.

Although it is a private resort it nice to be able to share the experience of s terrific day andovdly meal. The customer service is excellent and the good is incredible. No member should be ashamed of that kind of food or customer service.
The part that is outstand is their privacy that enables wonderful people to go out and enjoy the amenities is above others and best people that belong and it is truly a privelage to be a member.

We had a great time. For the price, I was a little surprised with some of the little things that weren't quite right; shower pressure so intense it felt like it would take your skin off, in room coffee that tasted so bad it was undrinkable. They did very well with reduced capacity and social distancing. I can't image how crowded it could be at peak times during a normal year so plan carefully.

After 3 times of email and phone calls beforehand.The hotel was supposed to prepare me surprise arrival package at the room for my wife. They didn t!!
And concierge desk manager disappointed me when said it is what it is!!
Other than that we had a good stay.

Great please for kids. Can't go wrong with the water park. Also great service, clean rooms.

Great fun for the family with young kids. Looked like fun for singles or couples without kids also. Amazing bang for the buck.

Nice property but no room service after 11. Not ideal for a later check in.

Stayed here for my friends bachelorette in Feb 2020. Very nice hotel with lots of amenities. Was a bit disappointed in the cleanliness of the room but upon complaint they cleaned for us

Fun Kid friendly place to stop and enjoy the summary. Lots of pools, and resturant is great! The lazy river is always a hit.

Great place. Nice room and good size, the missing 5th star is because you can clearly hear the neighbor's, all night.
The swimming pools are very good, with slides and tubes.

Nice area. We stayed for about five days. Two is enough, pools are okay, lazy river is nice. To harsh rules on waterslide. No playgrounds for kids

I participated in a 2+ day conference at this location, and the accommodations were exceptional.

The lazy river should hve adults only hours. Too many kids.

We love this resort! We have stayed a few times and the kids love it. You can't go wrong with the water slides and lazy river. It lives up to the Omni brand name!

The resort is fabulous! Love the spa and adult only pool. Service is fantastic. My only criticism is thr food is so-so and therefore very overpriced.

Hotel Standards in the room - Expected more from the rooms from shower heads not fully cleaned, toilet paper dispensers not tight, paint quality not great, chips on would, caulking not good or kept up, air filters dirty , and more if I wanted to keep on going. I used to be in the property management field and know about this things. For a higher end hotel with the higher prices I would expect higher standards for a place like this. It also took them about 3 hrs at least to get filter replaced for a job that takes less than 5 min.

Reason for not reporting at time of stay is because it wasnt effecting my stay and was only there for a day. Just reporting it here because they need to have the facilities manager on top of stuff like that.

Property - Beautiful place with great amenities and location near a center that has lots to offer.

Price - The norm for a place like this.

Pool - The pool here is great because they have a regular pool, lazy river pool, slides, water play area, and a sand area for younger kids to play.

Service - People here are great and very friendly.

Overall a great place, would come back again but they need to keep up the rooms.

A beautiful outdoor sitting area. Best french fries I've ever had in my life and an excellent hamburger. $15 on the lunch menu, I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for two nights. As we arrived very early from an international flight we thought it might be worth trying to check in. We found our room to be ready for us at around 10am.
